In case anyone was wondering what that strange light looks like I got me a pair of binocs.

[ Cobb waved a truly ridiculous pair of binoculars that are violently green and purple and look like some sort of rabbit/dog/animal. ]

And took a closer look. It's kinda like looking at the binary suns back home. A lot of bright and not a lot else around it. You can't see anything else but the bright.

[ Which explained why Cobb face was not centered in camera and he was still rubbing at his eyes. He had a few minutes at least before the bright spot burned into his eyes fades away. ]

So, sorry this didn't help much but if anyone needs to borrow some binocs I've got a pair handy.

Yeah, yeah, just a little sun still in my eyes. It'll go away.

[ It's his own fault for trying to look for as long as he did. ]

[He hopes it's fine; bacta doesn't do much good with certain kinds of damage to eyes, he's unfortunately aware. He's pretty sure even Master Kenobi's skill with Force healing has its limits, too. Then he mentally backtracks and finishes half a thought out loud.]

...Do we even have bacta here? I saw the hospital on the map, but does it have any useable supplies?

I don't even have bacta where I'm from. My guess? This place don't either.

[ But, hey, someone who knows bacta. That's a first since he crossed paths with Mando and the kid. ]

No, not minutes. I know better than that. Lots a little looks just build up.

No offense. I just don't think I've met anybody here yet who is a friggin doctor, you know? Which is concerning.

There's a hospital. I know some basics wound care. There's supposed to be some medical data point thing that'll put it all in your head if you're real concerned.

[ Which he still hasn't picked up for himself. Never mind that, though. ]

Eyes alright? [Last thing they need is somebody going blind.] I can look through. See if I can see anything with the visor.

Yeah, yeah, just a little sun burned. They'll better in a few minutes. [ He's not going to go sun blind. Everyone can just relax. ] Should've thought of that first. A little time without the armor and I forgot how useful it is.

Lived longer without armor than with it. Hope I know what I'm doing without it.

-that sure is one ugly pair of specs. But they must have some considerable range if you went and nearly blinded yourself looking at that light!

The range isn't too great but it allowed me a good enough view.

[ He rolls his eyes. ]

Just some sun spots hanging around. Nothing that'll blind me.

That's a relief! Just be sure it's just that and not some lingering glitter that got stuck in the lenses. Where'd you get those things anyway?

That's the shiny sand stuff that's been falling around, yeah?

[ Tatooine doesn't have glitter but it does have sandstorms fairly regularly. The shiny stuff wasn't that bad compared to the storms back home. ]

I was surprised as you. They don't have the greatest range but they do actually work.

[ He looks at them with an amused little smile. ]

Pretty sure it's made for kids lookin' all cute like this.

I- I mean- I don’t think the designers had looking at evil alien towers in mind, yes.

I'm guessing you didn't notice anything when you looked in that direction so that the light wasn't in your field of view.

[Like how things can be hidden by a glare, but become visible when the light source is blocked by something...]

Yeah, I'm that reckless.

[ Just gonna roll his eyes a moment. ]

The light obscured anything close to it. Nothing else really around it from what I could see.

[ There's not much out there with that light as far as he can tell. ]

Might wanna talk to some of the folks who tried to run out there. They might've seen a little bit more. Or you wanna borrow these? Take a look for yourself?

[Keith actually considered it, honestly. He had ideas on how to look through them if he could get the right stuff.]

Yeah, you know. I think I will. I just need to see if I can get something first. [The supply box where you could request things was a bit hard to deal with at times, but he could try.]

Just got to blink these sun spots away and I'll be fine. Nothing to worry about.

That's good...but you said the light's like staring into the binary suns? Which planet are you talking about?
