In case anyone was wondering what that strange light looks like I got me a pair of binocs.

[ Cobb waved a truly ridiculous pair of binoculars that are violently green and purple and look like some sort of rabbit/dog/animal. ]

And took a closer look. It's kinda like looking at the binary suns back home. A lot of bright and not a lot else around it. You can't see anything else but the bright.

[ Which explained why Cobb face was not centered in camera and he was still rubbing at his eyes. He had a few minutes at least before the bright spot burned into his eyes fades away. ]

So, sorry this didn't help much but if anyone needs to borrow some binocs I've got a pair handy.

[ It's his own fault for trying to look for as long as he did. ]

[He hopes it's fine; bacta doesn't do much good with certain kinds of damage to eyes, he's unfortunately aware. He's pretty sure even Master Kenobi's skill with Force healing has its limits, too. Then he mentally backtracks and finishes half a thought out loud.]

...Do we even have bacta here? I saw the hospital on the map, but does it have any useable supplies?

I don't even have bacta where I'm from. My guess? This place don't either.

[ But, hey, someone who knows bacta. That's a first since he crossed paths with Mando and the kid. ]

Not even close. Lothal. But the group I was with before I got here had some funding and personnel from Core worlds. Funny how quickly you can get used to things being a little nicer.

[ Well, now Cobb can relax a little. He's much more comfortable with Outer Rim folks than the Core worlds. ]

Yeah, no funding here. Just gonna have to get by with what we've got lying around.

I took a trip to Tatooine once. It wasn't all bad- [He got to meet Master Kenobi, even if it was briefly.] And a lot of the bad was on me, not thinking things through, but I can't say I'd really want to visit again.

I did learn about making do with what's lying around growing up on Lothal.

[ He's not offended, really. Everyone born on Tatooine has a love/hate relationship with the planet. ]

Not that I've met any of those latter ones yet. I was wondering if I should introduce myself on the comm somehow, but then your message popped up.

Yup, it's a real mix. Most of 'em ain't bad. I haven't met everyone but they all seem like reasonable folk so far.

Nothing wrong with meeting people. Walk around town a bit and you'll meet a few. The hangars are a pretty good place.
