In case anyone was wondering what that strange light looks like I got me a pair of binocs.

[ Cobb waved a truly ridiculous pair of binoculars that are violently green and purple and look like some sort of rabbit/dog/animal. ]

And took a closer look. It's kinda like looking at the binary suns back home. A lot of bright and not a lot else around it. You can't see anything else but the bright.

[ Which explained why Cobb face was not centered in camera and he was still rubbing at his eyes. He had a few minutes at least before the bright spot burned into his eyes fades away. ]

So, sorry this didn't help much but if anyone needs to borrow some binocs I've got a pair handy.

[He hopes it's fine; bacta doesn't do much good with certain kinds of damage to eyes, he's unfortunately aware. He's pretty sure even Master Kenobi's skill with Force healing has its limits, too. Then he mentally backtracks and finishes half a thought out loud.]

...Do we even have bacta here? I saw the hospital on the map, but does it have any useable supplies?

There's a hospital. I know some basics wound care. There's supposed to be some medical data point thing that'll put it all in your head if you're real concerned.

[ Which he still hasn't picked up for himself. Never mind that, though. ]

Not even close. Lothal. But the group I was with before I got here had some funding and personnel from Core worlds. Funny how quickly you can get used to things being a little nicer.

Dude. Of course I'm concerned! What if somebody like... falls through a floor or something? Or catches a really bad flu? Or like, gets an infection?

Yeah, no funding here. Just gonna have to get by with what we've got lying around.

I took a trip to Tatooine once. It wasn't all bad- [He got to meet Master Kenobi, even if it was briefly.] And a lot of the bad was on me, not thinking things through, but I can't say I'd really want to visit again.

I did learn about making do with what's lying around growing up on Lothal.

And they've proven having worst case scenario plans increases your likelihood of survival. Well. At least with fires ...and natural disasters.

Yup, it's a real mix. Most of 'em ain't bad. I haven't met everyone but they all seem like reasonable folk so far.

Nothing wrong with meeting people. Walk around town a bit and you'll meet a few. The hangars are a pretty good place.

Sure, that's one thing. But that's small stuff, getting sick or injured. Gotta focus on surviving first.

I mean, it STARTS small, sure, but things can get bad fast. Like you could get blood poisoning or something.
