In case anyone was wondering what that strange light looks like I got me a pair of binocs.

[ Cobb waved a truly ridiculous pair of binoculars that are violently green and purple and look like some sort of rabbit/dog/animal. ]

And took a closer look. It's kinda like looking at the binary suns back home. A lot of bright and not a lot else around it. You can't see anything else but the bright.

[ Which explained why Cobb face was not centered in camera and he was still rubbing at his eyes. He had a few minutes at least before the bright spot burned into his eyes fades away. ]

So, sorry this didn't help much but if anyone needs to borrow some binocs I've got a pair handy.

There's a hospital. I know some basics wound care. There's supposed to be some medical data point thing that'll put it all in your head if you're real concerned.

Dude. Of course I'm concerned! What if somebody like... falls through a floor or something? Or catches a really bad flu? Or like, gets an infection?

No use in worrying about what might happen. Gotta handle the problems you've got today.

Can't agree with you there. Too old to waste time comin' up with worst case scenarios.

And they've proven having worst case scenario plans increases your likelihood of survival. Well. At least with fires ...and natural disasters.

Sure, that's one thing. But that's small stuff, getting sick or injured. Gotta focus on surviving first.

I mean, it STARTS small, sure, but things can get bad fast. Like you could get blood poisoning or something.

Well, I got a blaster. But I'm human. Just a marshal of a small town. Nothing real special about me.

So you're kinda a cop. This is probably a dumb question, but there's no need for law enforcement here, I guess? Like everybody's working together.

Yeah, apparently. Don't seem to mean much in this place though.

I'm not a marshal here. Figure I'll just help out with what I can. I seem to be one of the few people who knows how survive with very little.
