[Was it morning? Was it late at night? These thirty hour days were really messing up Robin's sense of time, especially with it being winter and all of that and the days being long and so many other things. But of course that's not relevant because, well... The video makes it very clear that she's not in a place that makes sense to be. There's a big icy and rocky wall behind her. This... is probably a problem?]
Two things? First, is there a way that we can edit that map thingy on these little devices? Like, maybe survey where all the really deep pits are in Temba and mark them on the map? Maybe put up cones around them as a warning? Actually, more maps sounds good. Maybe some of the ships too, because I got lost there a few times because they're so big.
[A Robin Buckley in stress will talk. A lot. Don't mind her. She's working up to it.]
As for the second thing...
[She turns the device to pan around the space she's in. Which is more stone. More ice. Then it tilts up to see the sky far above and the snow falling thickly down. Down into the hole that Robin has clearly fallen into.]
Also, can anyone, like, fly? I'm sorta trapped? Underground. In one of those holes. I'd tell you where but, you know, lack of map having them? Um. Help? Please? Soon? It's really cold and still snowing.

WHO: Tommy Shepherd, You WHERE: Diner, Around Temba WHAT: Storm related panic attack, Heroics both good and failing WHEN: October 10th-12th for first prompt, October 13th otherwise WARNINGS: TW: panic attacks, blood, mouth related body horror, 'animal' attacks

You know, from all I heard of these storms, wasn't expecting this sorta-phone to pop back on. Anyway, uh, it's Robin. I have good news and I have bad news for you.
Good news? I recognize why the storm looks like this. And what the noises are.
Bad news? I recognize why the storm looks like this. And what the noises are.
Tips for survival are as follows. They're afraid of fire and it hurts them a LOT. Keep your back to things because you can't trust them not to come up behind you. DO NOT BLEED. Try to hide together in groups. And if you can fight, well, guess we need to brief you on what's going on. So check the fuck in because this is a Code Red.
Who: Lestat, Claudia, OPEN What: A ball and a threat Where: The square When: Start of the month Warnings: Violence, Blood, See notes for second prompt. Must fill out linked permissions to interact with second prompt. Prompt one is OPEN for all, will be marked as needed
((OOC: If anyone's interested in trying to fix the network you can bother Felwinter about it when he's outside or be caught trying to figure out how to get to the top floor or what have you~))
[So Dustin doesn't get out much, which means that the fact that he's been missing for about two days probably hasn't been noticed by anyone (except maybe Tommy, who is likely wondering why he hasn't been around to swipe more food and do the dishes). The signed notes delivered via Funfrond might have raised a few more eyebrows. But when Dustin is permitted to leave the Warrens so he can grab his possessions and bring them back for safekeeping, and he notices that his communicator has a connection to the Network again, he is uncharacteristically loud about it.]
I fucking hope all of you are awake right now to read this get up get up get up pack your shit and get the fuck out of here No time to argue, just fucking listen
[A minute or so later when he actually emerges from the mines and gets a whiff of the sulfur in the air: ]
holy shit this is so much worse than i thought it would be WAKE THE FUCK UP AND GET UNDERGROUND
[And then about ten minutes later - deciding that just caps-yelling over the comms isn't good enough - there's a piercing BEEEEP from everyone's communicator as Dustin's impromptu emergency alert app that he's just made pushes a notification across the Network. At least it links to his post so people woken up by it can yell back at him.]
((OOC: Also good for Dustin to run into anyone already parked at the entrance to the Warrens when he comes barreling out of there, or any other wildcards people have in mind!))
WHO: Felwinter and you I guess WHERE: Temba WHAT: A warlord returns from his explorations WHEN: Mid-July WARNINGS: N/A NOTE: Will match tag format/preference!
This is the right place to look for a helping hand, right?
So, first, I've been staking out the hunting grounds for a place to sleep, lately. It's the one with all the stinging insects; not that you aren't all charming, but at least I know what I'm eating over here. But aside from all that, I've got a decent pile-up of their leftover webbing. It's interesting stuff, but I don't have a direct use for it.
So if anyone wants it, I'm happy to give a trade. Make me an offer.
In related news, I've been working on a new style. I don't really go in for insects, but the webbing is interesting. I need something that moves to test it on properly, though, so if you think you're tough enough to take it, I'm looking for someone to help work out the kinks.
Don't worry, it's just a basic thesis right now. I'm hoping it might go all the way to telenoisis if I keep developing it, though. There's something in this, I know it.
WHO:Team Dragonfly WHERE: North Easter part of Temba - Around the Hangar WHAT: It looks goofy, but it SPITS FIRE!! WHEN: Monster bashing event WARNINGS: A big, angry fire bug. Albert is also angry. And Ash has no balls to try and catch either! What is even going on here?!
[ Ash is using the communicator today - good for him. Or he is, at the moment. He's set the device up so he can have two free hands, Pikachu is sitting comfortably in his lap enjoying a few good pets and making happy little 'chaa' noises. ]
I don't think I've met everyone yet so, I'm Ash and this is my buddy Pikachu. [ He gently lifts Pikachu up to show the camera. ]
Pikachu! [ The little mouse greets with a small wave of his hand, there are tiny sparks emanating from his red cheeks. Ash holds him close, wrapping securely around his middle but is careful not to touch his cheeks. ]
The thing with Pikachu is-he's not really an animal like you guys seem to be used to-he's a Pokémon so he can learn special attacks based off his type-which is electric.
What I'm getting at is- because he's an electric type he can build up and store electricity in his cheeks. [ He indicates to the sparking red cheeks without touching them. ] But if he can't release the extra electricity then he can get really sick.
Pikachu's okay now but I need to know if there's somewhere or someway he can safely let loose some electricity. We usually just challenge other trainers to a battle but since that's not really an option [ Pikachu's ears droop in disappointment ] And there's no Pokémon Center here, I thought we should ask.
If you see us around, feel free to say hi. We love making new friends but Pikachu can be a little wary of new people sometimes. If you pull on his tail or cheeks he might try to bite but more than likely you'll be in a for a shock.
WHO: Dustin, Felwinter and Link WHERE: Westward, ho! WHAT: Felwinter finds himself in...interesting company as he finally sets out for a long put off expedition beyond Temba's city limits. WHEN: Later this month WARNINGS: N/A
