Jedi Temple Tour
WHO: Anyone that wants to come!
WHERE: Jedi Temple on Coruscant
WHAT: A tour of the temple!
WHEN: During the event.
WARNINGS: None. Label your threads accordingly!
It had taken some talks with members of the High Council, but Obi-Wan has delivered and managed to arrange limited access to the temple for the travelers from Agra 10. This included a guided tour! A network post is put out, inviting anyone that wanted to come. A day and time also being with the meeting place being at the steps of the temple.
Before going in, everyone is instructed to behave their best. That means staying in designated areas and not going anywhere off-limits. Also to be respectful and not get too rowdy. This is a home and a place of peace! Anyone causing a raucous and not following the rules will certainly be kicked out. There will be Jedi watching all of them at all times, and there is most definitely a security system in the temple that records everything too.
Weapons are not permitted on temple grounds! Unless you are a Jedi with a lightsaber. If anyone is carrying any they will be taken at the entrance and returned to them when they leave. Beskar armor is not allowed either (sorry Mando!). The temple has been attacked and looted in the past, plus there are children here, so they are simply being cautious with these strangers.
((OOC: This is a mingle log! Feel free to thread with whoever you want! It doesn't have to be Obi-Wan! I will be posting top levels, with descriptions, for everyone to respond to. A few will be closed to Jedi only, but for the most part its completely open! If you have any questions about anything feel free to PM me or contact me on the discord group or on Plurk.

Main Entrance
Here they will be met by their Jedi guides. Obi-Wan will be there as well to help oversee the tour. This is where everyone will be given the rules, checked for weapons and any other illicit items.

He doesn't realize he's stopped there until he hears BD-1's gentle hooting. Forcing a weak smile at the droid in thanks, he reaches up to offer his friend a pat on the head as he continues to where the others await.

Reading that in Obi-wan's message, had not sat well with Din. In fact, there's probably a few crates in the hangar, now sporting mysterious dents in them. Given what the armor means to Mandalorians, they were effectively asking him to leave his soul behind. When all he wanted to do was see his kid again. He'd not been separated this long from Grogu since....well, since before he found him.
Fortunately for him, he had a partner who knew what the kid, and the armor, meant to him. What the creed meant to him. Din had protested at first, but gave in with insistence from Cobb. So, when he's dropped off at the landing pad by the taxi driver. He's sporting the dura-steel armor in place of the Beskar. The hooded cloak replaced with a helmet they'd picked up somewhere. The Beskar armor left in the trusted hands of the Marshal. However, he still had Beskar with him. In the form of the Mythosaur pendant that hung around his neck once again, tucked away under the suit.
Any reluctance he had, was replaced with determination as he walked up the steps. Helmet tilting up and around as he took in the structure. He'd sent a message ahead to Obi-wan, to let him know he was on his way, and he'll slow to a stop once he gets near the entrance. To wait and see if the Jedi showed, and, well. If the guards decide to stare him down, he's staring right back at them. Less aggressive, or a threat. More an unwillingness to be intimidated.
You can take the Mandalorian out of the armor. But you can't take the Mandalorian out of the Mandalorian.

Thinking it might be in line with Buddhist temples from Earth, she had tried to dress as simply and conservatively as possible, and as she stood on the steps watching people stream in and out of the building in their brown robes, she decided that she had likely made a good choice. Even so, she could feel eyes on her, the outsider, and tried not to mind them as she waited for her host. She'd gotten quite good at it over the years.

Great Hall
This room also contains tombs for many great Jedi Masters. Their graves set into the floor before a pillar with a raised platform. Their names are on lit displays in aurebesh, sometimes with a statue as well.
For Obi-wan
But he is, gawking, a little bit. This is almost nothing like the Jedi Temple on Lothal. Sure, there had been spaces in that temple that were, as far as he could tell, impossibly big on the inside and full of stars. But until you stepped into those special rooms, the temple had been dark, and full of narrow passageways.
His gaze lingers on the memorials in the Great Hall and he takes a couple of quick steps to catch up to Master Kenobi.
"Master Kenobi, do-" he says, then hesitates, then pushes on. "Do Jedi have a particular funeral ceremony?"

Academy
There are various classrooms that can be seen. Some are lecture halls, while in others there are children practicing with lightsabers.
One of the more notable areas is a gymnasium where some older children and young adults are engaged in competitive sports, particularly smashball. All the young Jedi in the group are encouraged to play with them, and anyone else that feels up to taking them on. It'll be a challenge! Whether that's the case for you or them remains to be seen.
OTA Cw: bitty PTSD
It took some time for him to get the courage to revisit the academy. That's where the worst atrocities had happened, after all. He could still hear the sounds of screams as his friends were cut down. He made his way down the hall to the practice room he knew so well. Pressing one hand to the wall, he peeked inside. Instead of scorched stone and young bodies strewn across the floor, he saw a Master Jedi surrounded by younglings and their training lightsabers. It was still too much for him. He straightened, pressing his back against the wall with a shiver. He had to find a way to let go of this grief or he'd never move forward...
For a while, he could be found leaving against the wall with his eyes closed.

The Archives
Like with any library everyone is expected to speak in hushed tones so as not to disturb anyone. The only part of the archives that is off limits is the vault where holocrons containing sensitive information are kept. Only the Jedi High Council may enter this area! Also, only Jedi can open holocrons. If there is something you're looking for that would be stored on a holocron, Jedi permission and assistance will be needed.
OTA
Which is something Jon can appreciate. It's something he can understand and work with. At least for the most part.
He has also taken the chance to learn about spaceships and dive into some of the more complex pieces of technology behind how they work, fly and fight, but eventually had to admit it's not entirely his field. So he looked into other sciences as well, but ultimately ended up with something else entirely on most days.
Having gotten used to Jon's regular visits at some point, they have become very forthcoming in helping him locate some of the more obscure recordings and records waiting between these shelves. These rarely are in written form, but those that do, Jon records to one of his tapes in a separate room. Others he watches as little holographic recordings and they even activate a holocron for him to play back a selection of crystals. And all of these are personal stories. Recordings of past encounters of a being left shaken by them.
Even here, in this very strange galaxy, beings are scared. And even here they used to put to record the events that shook them the most. And watching or reading these reports is what Jon can be found doing in the Archives, sitting quietly and transfixed over whatever material it is this time he is absorbing.
Room of a Thousand Fountains
For Lauri-Ell
Strolling through the gardens, he came upon a pretty space. A carpet of velanie and hai-ka flowers stretching out before him. Their delicate scents wafting through the air. Deciding to rest there, Obi-Wan sat himself beneath a blueblossom tree and quieted his mind. Content to meditate there unless someone happened to come along.

The small green child is now wearing Jedi robes, and has a cloth braid with a yellow bead clipped to one ear, looping around the top to keep it secure. He's sitting cross legged on a bench (whoa, you can actually see his feet!) with his eyes closed. He might be meditating, but if he senses anyone walking close by, his eyes open and he smiles.

Halls of Healing
There are various examination rooms, hospital wards, and rooms with bacta tanks. There is a full time staff of healers and some can be observed using crystals and the Force in their healing methods.

Richie had asked someone where to get some medical supplies, but he isn't sure the answer he got was entirely helpful. Eddie has a stab-wound on his cheek and maybe an infection after dragging it through a fucking sewer. Richie peers at some of the crystals dubiously and tries not to laugh at the idea of bringing one to his friend and pressing it into his ripped cheek. He'd end up swallowing it.
"Hm. Yeah. Okay...I just need like..." He muttered to himself as he kept walking, looking around but not doing the smart thing which would be to just ask someone. "Hmmm...gauze... Gauze...gauze...gauze... And then definitely some bandages with cartoon aliens."

Something. Isn't. Right?
The clone's eyes flutter open, only to narrow again because of the light in the room. He's dressed in a patient's smock, black hair now shaved close to the scalp with a patch covering the right side of his temple. His current state of awareness is blurry at first, but he soon realizes the incessant humming is coming from the machines by his bedside, their screens and buttons blinking to make sure the patient's health (i.e. him) is on the right track and remains stable.
And he groans, quickly forfeiting the plan where he tries sitting upright. Muscles tense, then relax, leaving him as he was and as he continues to be while he tries to jog his memory. "Where...?"

Closed to Jedi
There she would meet them, ushering them into a large meditation room. At its center was a cluster of crystals. What was interesting about them is that there appeared to be flames dancing inside each of them. Their flickering glow filling the chamber in a beautiful display.
“Each of you, please have a seat,” Master Fae said gently as she motioned to the cushions surrounding the crystals. Obi-Wan knew this place and didn’t hesitate in leading the way. Seating himself on one of the cushions and gazing at the crystals for a moment before looking to the others. “Come on,” he also encouraged, having an idea of what the Grand Master was up to.

Training Halls
Spectating a training room - OTA
Still, his jaw's hanging open a little. He has to be deeply sunk into the Force to move with the amount of speed and aerobatics these two are, and that has some drawbacks. Plus, he's pretty sure that the current spectacle is at least as much about muscle memory.
"Yeah, I still need so much training," he concludes.

Be it an ambitious Padawan or a training droid, Obi-Wan woukd spend hours here. No one in this time knew his talents with a lightsaber, which he excelled most at, or his style. Thus many an opponent found themselves struggling to best him. He used a combination of Forms III, IV, and I. Though it was clear that he heavily favored Soresu and his defense was impeccable.
Obi-Wan would put on quite a show with his moves for anyone that was watching. His graceful movements and leaping acrobatics were able to keep up with even his youngest challenger. Though being as he was a bit out of practice, he worked up quite a sweat. Eventually having to remove his tunic and undershirt so that he didn’t completely soak them through. Then with a twirl of his lightsaber he was back at it again.

The Sacred Spire
Visitors will take a turbolift up the length of the spire and will be able to view the history of the Jedi Order, up to this point in time, on the way. Mosaics, statues, and other works of art can be viewed as well. At the top can be found meditation rooms and places to view the city beyond as well as the four other surrounding spires.
At the lower levels of the spire, there are transparisteel corridors that overlook the intact mountain slopes, while paths can be taken into the mountain where ancient chapels and temples are found.

He is currently stood close to one of the paths that lead to one of the ancient temples, hesitant. Kyle is not what anyone is ever going to call a quiet person, but he's silent now, looking almost solemn as he tries to decide if he's allowed to go down the path.

The Gathering [Closed to Ezra and Cal]
What they would find is that both Obi-Wan and Master Fae Coven were waiting for them upon a path just in front of the entrance into the mountain peak. Here the Force was strong. It swirled around them in a way that wouldn't be felt anywhere else on Coruscant. This was a sacred place. And the perfect place for what the two masters had in mind for the padawans.

For Obi-wan
Still, he finds himself not willing to back to the hotel or the Vanquish yet, and taking one more trip to the Jedi Temple. It is, after all, the last time he's likely to ever see it. Even if he gets back to his native time, and the Empire someday is completely overthrown, it won't be the same.
He walks the halls, still in full robes and cloak and lightsaber on his belt, trying to take in not so much the physical place as all the feeling in the Force of all the Jedi around (even if many of them are resting). The strength of the Order, gathered together. The sense of serenity.
He finds himself not surprised when he turns a corner and finds Obi-wan.
"Master Kenobi," he greets, with a small smile and bow, in what he hopes is a decent likeness to the proper Jedi manners he's been observing for weeks now.
no subject
Obi-Wan had left the party early, taking Richie on the ridiculous quest to purchase Bantha. After that he returned to the temple to walk the halls one last time. Committing to memory every detail, not just by sight but through the Force as well. Grateful to have this impression as his last of his home rather than previously with it in ruin.
Eventually he came to stop by a large window. Looking out at the scenic view of Coruscant. It was at this very spot that was one of the last places he spoke to Anakin as a friend. There was no feeling of him here. He wasn’t born yet after all, none of them were. But there was still his memories.
There was a slight tug on a thread of a bond that had started to form just before Ezra spoke. And Obi-Wan turned to greet him with a smile. How ironic to meet another Padawan here where another would stand with him. He dipped his head in return to the bow before stepping forward. Reaching out to straighten Ezra’s robes a little bit.
“They look good on you,” he praised. He had seen Ezra at the party of course and had been pleased to see him dressed as a Jedi. Now he has the opportunity to say it.
