Jedi Temple Tour

WHO: Anyone that wants to come!
WHERE: Jedi Temple on Coruscant
WHAT: A tour of the temple!
WHEN: During the event.
WARNINGS: None. Label your threads accordingly!

It had taken some talks with members of the High Council, but Obi-Wan has delivered and managed to arrange limited access to the temple for the travelers from Agra 10. This included a guided tour! A network post is put out, inviting anyone that wanted to come. A day and time also being with the meeting place being at the steps of the temple.

Before going in, everyone is instructed to behave their best. That means staying in designated areas and not going anywhere off-limits. Also to be respectful and not get too rowdy. This is a home and a place of peace! Anyone causing a raucous and not following the rules will certainly be kicked out. There will be Jedi watching all of them at all times, and there is most definitely a security system in the temple that records everything too.

Weapons are not permitted on temple grounds! Unless you are a Jedi with a lightsaber. If anyone is carrying any they will be taken at the entrance and returned to them when they leave. Beskar armor is not allowed either (sorry Mando!). The temple has been attacked and looted in the past, plus there are children here, so they are simply being cautious with these strangers.

Kyle steps closer and awkwardly pats Obi-Wan on the shoulder. "I can't say I understand exactly," he says quietly. "But I at least understand the, uhm, cultural loss, I guess you'd call it."

He looks around, noting again the preternatural calm. "Are you gonna be okay, Mr. Kenobi?"

There was a nod and a tight smile. Despite the awkwardness of the moment, he did appreciate Kyle’s understanding. Though they really hardly knew each other at all.

“Yes, I’ll be fine, thank you.” Clearing this throat he tries to look like the dignified Jedi he should be. “Please, enjoy your time here. It would mean a lot to me if you would.”

Kyle offers a sincere little smile. "I will. If time is more or less the same here as on Earth, we're getting close to one of the big holidays for my people. So. That really sucks, being stuck away from the whole planet and stuff."

He shrugs. "So I kind of feel like even if it's not the same, maybe I can at least use this time to kind of contemplate things? Maybe that's dumb. But thank you."

“I imagine it does. I’m sorry.” He knew it was difficult for everyone to be away from home. For Obi-Wan he never thought to see home again. This whole trip has been rather bittersweet for him. Especially since he knew they couldn’t stay.

“There is never shame in taking time to think, and this is the right place for it. I hope you find peace, and may the Force be with you.”

"It's okay." Kyle stuffs his hands in his pockets. "You're right. Think I'll take a walk down there, then."

He looks at Obi-Wan and smiles. "Yeah, heh. Shalom."

Another smile and Obi-Wan bows politely. He will leave Kyle to his meditation or whatever he plans to do. It was a very appropriate use of one’s time here in the temple.

The Jedi then turns to go on his way, his cloak billowing as he goes.
