Attention! This is Dr. Ivo Robotnik speaking and, as I assume I'm not the only one stranded on this wretched world, I am opening up communications for some proper answers. It appears my abductors can't be reached at the moment and I've already spent enough time familiarizing myself with what little information that is available.
If you have received this transmission, make yourselves known. Rest assured, if there is a way off of this world, then I will be the one to find it!
[And he may even let you tag along. Maybe.]

video btw lmao
Actually this ride sucks and Sonic wants off yesterday, but that's just not in the cards, now is it? He gets the groaning and eyerolling out of his system before he actually replies.]
Sure you won't get bored half way through and abandon the whole project like you do everything else? Hi, by the way, glad the aliens decided to confirm that they're out to annoy me specifically just now.
no subject
[It would be just his luck that Sonic were here. And without his badnik army or his Egg Fleet, he was at a severe disadvantage.]
[But Sonic only ever let his heroic bravado slip when he was similarly pressed. Which meant that, perhaps, he wasn't at such a clear disadvantage as he initially assumed.]
[He ignores the jab at his non-linear project management and presses on.]
It seems that you just weren't enough to help these aforementioned aliens, Hedgehog! Such is the obvious reason they sought out a professional.
no subject
A professional at bouncing back from your many, many crushing defeats, maybe. Credit where it's due. The rest of your resume is woefully unimpressive, though. You might want to leave out the part where you keep getting beat up by a little blue hedgehog out of your cover letter.
no subject
Now, are you here to annoy me or will you prove yourself useful?

You realize that the toupee is supposed to go on top of your head, not under your nose, right?
no subject
[Fortunately for Eggman, his nemesis has given him enough sass that at this point any cracks about his appearance are tiresome at best.]
I imagine from your unimaginative display of...eugh...wit...that you have nothing of note to offer.
Though, judging by what you're sporting I also surmise that you simply wish you could grow a mustache as prominent as mine. A far superior intellect and the ability to grow and maintain a truly regal plumage of facial hair are but two ways I clearly best you!
no subject
My words turn into a splinter under your skin? It’s not my fault the aliens decided to bring in a runway in for planes complete with some red bushes at the end.
no subject
Rest assured, age has nothing to do with it. Ageism is, itself, an antiquated concept. No, what matters to me is usefulness and intelligence. Since you seem to be lacking in the latter, I hope you have an abundance of the former.
First impressions are not your strong suit, it seems. Hopefully you have more to offer than a frankly unruly amount of wavy, voluminous hair.

Donnie may take a few seconds to remember he's got the camera on. He coughs, totally wasn't staring there.]
Yeah, unfortunately lack of answers, information and resources are par the course around here. The introductory data point doesn't really so much more than prompt more questions.
no subject
[He means snark and sass but whatever.]
I've committed the introductory information to memory but I find myself in a unique position. The city itself seems to have its fair share of resources so I suppose I must scavenge for tools.
no subject
Tools are definitely hard to find, and the Agrii have some pretty strange implements. Unfortunately a lot of what might be scavenged at the local 'mall' isn't very useful, at least in the capacity I'd prefer, but I guess that'd really depend on what sort of tools you're in the market for and what you plan to do with them.
no subject
For now? Instruments I can use to harvest raw components and materials. Enough to start building. Preferably something I can use to craft other tools. Precision instruments with which I can use for further complicated projects.
The first of which is seeing if I can disassemble this communications device and examine it fully.
[Eggman would probably be really good at Minecraft.]

[ Especially those self-proclaimed heroes that prefer to cause problems just so they can pretend to be the hero saving the day. Pests, really. ]
The name is Dr. Albert Wesker.
no subject
Another doctor, eh? It's a pleasure to meet another man of science.
Tell me, Dr. Wesker, what is your primary field of study?
no subject
[ He considers for a moment how much of the requested information he should share. ]
Virology, genetics, bioengineering.
[ No need to mention that he has a history of designing weapons. Biological ones as well as the sort to deal with those biological weapons. Dealing with both sides of a war is very profitable. ]
How about yourself?
no subject
[Eggman strokes his mustache, intrigued by the new direction of the conversation.]
You don't say. Fascinating.
I've dabbled in virology recently myself. But my primary field is engineering and robotics.

In any case, he tries to hide his surprise. He never has told Sonic that he's aware of media featuring him back home. He scarcely wants to tell that to Robotnik.]
Hi. What are you hoping to find out?
no subject
Thusly, my top priorities are:
1.) Assessing the chain of command. [Potentially usurping them.]
2.) Securing resources and a place with which to work. [Seize the means of production.]
and 3.) Learn everything I can about the Agrii, the energy storms, and secure a way back to my world. [Take their secrets, harness their energy, then leave all of these suckers (especially Sonic) here.]
no subject
Yeah, I'm not impressed with the data cache or the data points. Having to touch the thing by the fountain was already way too much messing with my brain for me.
So nobody here is really a leader or a ruler, per se. We're all stuck in the same boat and we try to help each other through it.
There's a lot of abandoned buildings. Some of the ones not falling apart as badly have been claimed as homes and workshops and that kinda thing. So pretty much, just grab one and see what you can find to work with.
I doubt anybody here knows much about the Agrii or the storms. And we're all clueless about getting home or we would have done it already. What do you know about the storms so far? I don't wanna waste either of our time by telling things you already know.
no subject
Very well, I'll have to do some reconnaissance. I won't accept anything less than the best for what I have in mind. I'll need someplace I can secure.
I know that the energy storms are what decimated the Agrii and this world. That we've been abducted to find a solution. Beyond that, there's nothing indicating a source nor anything documenting its effects. Merely the aftermath which...while I could posit theories I would rather wait until I got my hands on more data.

[ she has zero interest in going back home, mostly because things were not going well for her there. but is curious how he's so determined that he could figure it out; he better hope his doctorate is in figuring out something people who've been here years haven't done yet. ]
no subject
My field is in engineering and robotics. Though I've been known to dabble in others.
no subject
Does that mean you're going to try to build a ship out of here?
no subject
A ship would be ineffective unless I can find some method of navigating space back to my original world. Seeing as how I have no bearings on where that might be or where we are in relation I would likely be better off fashioning a portal or a dimensional warp.
