WHO: Ash, Pikachu and You
WHERE: Pick your battle
WHAT: Ash and Pikachu have arrived. They're a little confused
WHEN: Right before the blizzard
WARNINGS: Uh... idk. A potential electric shock?
Livestock Nursery
Ash hasn't been in town long, maybe an hour or two. He's had long enough to check out the datapoint and wander aimlessly for a bit before he's drawn to the stable like structure.
Of course the first place he'd be drawn to is the livestock nursery. He's watching the glownies with interest even though they're not doing anything particularly exciting. They're just eating their lunch but by the stary-eyed look on his face you'd think that they were doing a whole multi-step dance routine.
There's a yellow fluff ball settled on his shoulder watching the Glownies with the same interest as the young boy that seems to have turned up.
"So cool! I've never seen anything like them before!" He says excitedly, the yellow rodent like creature agreeing with him. "D'you think they're a pokemon?"
"Pi?" Pikachu turns to look behind them as he thinks he hears something nearby.
The Diner
It was inevitable that Ash would end up here, really. It's been some time since he or Pikachu have had a bite to eat. At least, Ash is pretty sure they haven't eaten in a while-it feels like it's been hours and his stomach is gurgling uncomfortably loud. He's a little short on funds at the moment but he can always offer to do the dishes in exchange for a meal or something.
He pushes the door open, practically dragging his feet. One thought playing on repeat in his head; 'Hungry... need food.' The way Pikachu and poised half draped over his shoulder, he'd say Pikachu is thinking the exact same thing.
"Anyone here?" Ash questions, glancing around. It's not very lively for a diner. Hopefully it's not closed.
Special Training in a little west of the Security Tower
By now, Ash has realized there's no Pokémon beside his Pikachu here and that means there's no Pokémon battles. Honestly, it's a tragedy he's not yet ready to face and even then, there's no reason to get lazy. He'd gone off to see if there really weren't any Pokémon around and found himself disappointed- not even a pidgey.
"Well Pikachu, there's nothing for it, we'll just have to keep up our training a different way-hit me with your strongest quick attack." He tells the yellow mouse.
"Pika!" Pikachu agrees, launching a quick attack right into Ash who is easily knocked several feet backwards and falls with a thump into the grass.
"Whoa! That's some quick attack." He praises happily, if a little stunned

Diner
Wesker opts to not respond, naturally. But he can’t help but feel reminded of too many times Chris Redfield would enter the office with very much the same energy, effectively disrupting a quiet work atmosphere. Grimacing to himself at the memory, Wesker returns his focus to his notes. If he ignores the boy, he will leave again.

"Hey, sorry to interrupt you, but you wouldn't happen to know where Pikachu and I could get something to eat, would ya? You see it's been hours since we last ate-or at least I think it has. Either way, we're starving." He explains, Pikachu nods in agreement.

“The kitchen is over there.” He simply informs the boy and indicates the door next to the diner’s counter. And while he doesn’t say anything else, Wesker does take note of the strange animal sitting on Ash’s shoulder which he can best describe as some sort of comically deformed rabbit…
no subject
"Yeah but.. is it okay to just take it like that? That last thing I wanna do is upset someone by stealing their food." He crosses his arms in thought. Why can't it just be a normal diner?
no subject
"You know why you are here. You know what is expected of you. Naturally you are expected to pull your own weight. Others that are here already have stocked this building with supplies that they worked to produce to allow everyone to feed themselves. This includes you. How you will make yourself useful around here in return is for you to figure out yourself." There. That should do.
no subject
"I have no idea what you're talkin' about." Ash admits with what is really far too much confidence for that statement. "But it sounds like you're saying the food's for everyone and that's good enough for me!"
"Pika!" His yellow companion agrees. Ash turns and dashes into the kitchen to find something he and Pikachu can both eat that doesn't require too much in the way of cooking.

With this child, however, Wesker has less reason to believe anything of that sort might happen as he watches the boy rush off into the kitchen to very likely create a massive mess. A thought that brings a scowl to the adult's face as he pointedly picks up his pen again. "You will clean up any mess you make in there!"
no subject
"O'course I know that. I wouldn't just leave a mess like that." He assures, pulling a cabinet open and shutting it again when he's out of luck.

Training
Movement below draws his attention, the warlord looking down at the bright spots of color. He's seen the two, new arrivals. The Agrii continue to pull unsuspecting people in, it seems. Smaller too. Surely that cannot be right, stealing children from their homes?
He is at first unsure of what to make of the two. He's a bit baffled to see the little yellow creature attack the boy abruptly. Was it not his pet?
In a blink- which is what happens to also be the name of a Warlock's short teleportation ability- he is outside of the tower windows, greatcoat flapping in the breeze as he drops down from its heights, only to slow to a drift midway. He angles himself to land between the pair, a sudden gray shadow with twining horns.
"Watch yourself," he warns as he assumedly fixes a look towards Pikachu. Hard to tell when you can't see past the grill and mesh of his helmet. His tone is just shy of monotonic and tinny, but perhaps it's because of his headgear.

"Pika?" The Pokémon glances up curiously at who decided to intervene.
Ash, meanwhile is just about to get back on his feet and order another quick attack but pauses at the sudden arrival of company. "Whoa.." He says, still sitting on the ground. "Where'd you come from?" He asks before getting back up on his feet and readjusting his cap.
Pikachu watches the newcomer a moment before moving to dash around him to try and rejoin Ash's side.

The helmeted figure steps to keep himself interposed between them as Pikachu moves. At least he hasn't gone for a weapon. The little creature had come with the boy so he doubts Ash will be pleased to see it slaughtered in front of him. As to why it attacked him though, he does not know, but he will not let it harm Ash again.
"Stay back," he directs at Pikachu.

Pikachu seems to be getting irritated and skids to a halt and lets out an angry noise. "Pikapi! Pikachu!"
"Well, it's nice to meet you and everything, I'm Ash, but you're kinda interrupting our special training." He explains.
no subject
"-training..?"
There's only the slightest hint of surprise to his tone, as though he only injects the minimum effort of emotion into his words. Clearly it has not occurred to him that the two could possibly be...sparring.
He looks back at the boy and then the angry yellow creature in front of him.
no subject
"Pika!" Pikachu happily agrees but then turns his eyes back on Felwinter. He launches into a quick attack to quickly try and bypass the warlock, dashing to the side again. Ash moves to angle himself so he can catch him for when he jumps up.
no subject
"...you do battle?" With them both on the same side now, he turns to face them, relaxing his stance.
no subject
"Well yeah, but it's kinda hard to have a Pokémon Battle when there aren't any other trainers or Pokémon around." He lets out a sigh that Pikachu shares. "So, we'll just have to battle each other." He says determinedly, standing back up again with fire in his eyes.
"Pika!" Pikachu lets out a sound of agreement, now happily perched on Ash's shoulder.

Livestock Nursery
She wasn't expecting the child there when she arrived.
"Good day," she said as she held her bucket before her with a shovel in it. "Come to visit the Glownies?"
no subject
"Pikpi." He states. Ash turns and then offers the woman a smile before his eyes fall on the large dog and he moves over to get a closer look.
"Whoa! Who are you?" He asks it. Another Pokémon he's never seen it? He looks up at Lark again from where he's crouched to be at eye level with the large dog.
"Glownies? Is that what they're called? Are they a Pokémon?"
no subject
"This is Little Bear," she says to Ash, raising an eyebrow. Had he not seen dogs before. "What is a poky-mom?"
The dog at her side moves to sit on his haunches, his tail whipping back and forth in excitement.
"You may pet him, he doesn't bite."
no subject
"Yeah, a Pokémon. Pikachu's a Pokémon-an electric type so he knows moves like Thunderbolt and Electroball. Both have been super helpful on our journey."
"Pika!" Pikachu agrees happily.
no subject
"I am sorry, but I have never heard of anything like what you're explaining."
no subject
"Man, really?" He pauses when she mentions not knowing about Pokémon moves. "They're all over where I'm from. Human's and Pokémon are always working together-always trying to get stronger together."
He stands up and looks at Pikachu. The two give each other a nod and Ash extends his arm so he can run up it and leap into the air.
"Pikachu, show us a Thunderbolt!" He commands.
"Pikaaachuuu!" Large amount of electricity bursts from Pikachu and hits an empty space a little further out. They're not trying to hurt any one, after all.
no subject
"I see. It can perform magic."
no subject
"Hey it's okay, Pikachu's not gonna hurt you." He assures. Pikachu runs back over and back up to sit on Ash's shoulder now that the demonstration is over. Ash gives him a small pat and then looks up at Lark again.
"Magic? No, Pikachu's able to store electricity in his cheeks. Although, I guess it's true no one really knows why Pokémon can do the things they do but there's a ton of research on it-most of the professors think is has something to do with their connection to nature. I sure couldn't tell ya though."
