Night at the Museum (OTA)
WHO: Kyle Broflovski and YOU!
WHERE: The Underground of Coruscant (Level 4)
WHAT: A very wholesome field trip to the lost Galactic Museum.
WHEN: During the event. (Mid-ish?)
WARNINGS: The foulest of language. Injury extremely likely. More as needed.
Kyle's seen aliens before.
A group of them from the Jannex Galaxy, a spaceship full of greys, the Marklar, and Jeff Bezos. This is the first time he's seen quite so many different kinds in one place, but even so it doesn't take him long to feel comfortable enough to talk to a few of them at the Senate Tour that Obi-Wan had suggested he take. One of these friendly aliens had mentioned in passing that it was a pity that the Galactic Museum could no longer be toured, due to it having been lost and forgotten somewhere down on Level 4.
A lost museum seems to Kyle like exactly the sort of thing the Agrii would want them to find. And even if not, well. Kyle really likes museums.
Is it difficult to get to Level 4? Oh, yes. And extremely dangerous. This doesn't deter Kyle one bit, and so he puts out a call on the Network to let people know that hey, he's putting together a museum field trip and anybody is welcome to come! Provided, that is, that you don't mind finding your way down through huge portals/ventilation shafts into a world where sunlight is less than a memory and dangerous people and creatures lurk around every corner.
But hey, if you decide to come down, you'll find a too-tall ginger waiting for you with some flashlights and a notepad.
You bet your ass he's going to force you to use the Buddy System.

[OOC: Feel free to skip straight to the Museum proper of course! Mingle away, create your own TLs, whatever!]

Such was the stand of life, unfortunately.
"A giant albino alligator?" he smirked. "I should be able to. But I'm not sure about one that isn't albino."
He's joking really.

Kyle grins. "Oh, that's fine, I think regularly pigmented reptiles avoid bizarre subterranean tunnels." See, he can joke back! "Cool, well, since nobody's on their own we can roll out. I know everyone thinks sticking with someone is dorky, but we gotta be safe.
"Hey, did you get to see the descent to the planet on your ship? Wasn't it neat? Or are you like, used to it?"
no subject
"True. True. Why would normal ones want to stay there? It's so strange that they would."
He nodded his head. "Always good to have someone to go with you. There's safety in numbers after all. Yeah, the descent was very nice. I've seen it a lot, but there's also something interesting about seeing a new planet."
no subject
"Oh." Goddammit, is everybody used to space travel but him? He's pretty sure that's the case. "I've never seen that sort of thing before."
no subject
Shiro smiled. "Well, you got to see it now. What did you think of it?"
no subject
"It was beautiful. Just... yeah."
no subject
Since he'd been doing this for so long.
no subject
"Have you seen a place like this before? Maybe you'll know some of the stuff in the museum already."

What else is there to say? Everyone has a fantastic history, it seems. They've seen things Kyle never could have.
Well. Sort of. Mostly.
"What's a castle of lions?"

He looks around. "I doubt there's a pool down here we'd wanna use. Also we should be heading that way over there, looks like."
Anybody lurking in the shadows could tail this little group easily between the lights shed Kyle's talking. He's not really quiet.

And as they start walking, "The five lions of Voltron are weapons in my world. Individually they have their own pilot and their own abilities, but then they can combine to form Voltron."
no subject
The darkness around them is absolute, but so far they really do seem to be the only people around.
"And you pilot one. Are you in charge?"
no subject
Shiro didn't mind dark. It wasn't completely dark at least. His arm prosthetic arm put out some light.
"I am. Well, it's complicated, but I was in charge. I piloted the Black Lion."
no subject
He consults the map Tommy made with his flashlight, moving forward confidently.
"So. Because you're used to all this sort of thing... do you find it easier? Being on a strange planet and all?"
no subject
Shiro glanced over his shoulder to look at the map.
"Actually, yeah. Kind of used to it by now. At least, how to be diplomatic towards people when you really don't know much about them."
no subject
"And diplomacy is really important. How else can you get people to work together, right?"
no subject
He nodded. "Exactly. And alien races are harder if you don't know anything about them... or if you have century-old information from Coran that is no longer relevant."

"Kind of... but certainly not this less."
no subject
"I can't believe they just left it here."
