WHO: Omega, Tony the Mothcat and whoever's in Sh'Ka
WHERE: Sh'Ka
WHAT: Not getting into any trouble, honest!
WHEN: During the Apocalypse in Temba
WARNINGS: N/A
NOTES: Will match pose pref!
i. General Exploration
Omega hadn't meant for her trip to the other city to be as long as it was, but there was nothing to do about the train being inoperational, nor the comms ceasing to send out. She could only hope that Echo wasn't worrying too much about her absence, but she'd been sure to let him know where she was going beforehand at the very least, and she wasn't alone. There had been others aboard the train at the time. Maybe they're still around.
Even knowing that there are others from Temba here in Sh'Ka, it's still an entire city. Things are still quiet, and the young clone tries to remember to be cautious as she goes about her exploring. She fancies herself out patrolling, wandering along the streets, keeping nearer to buildings. At times she comes to a halt by the edge of a wall, holding up a fist the way someone would signal for a halt to their troops. Except the only one with her is a rambunctious little mothcat on a harness who never fails to leap on ahead, oblivious to her intents. And with a sigh and a shake of her head, Omega could only follow after. "Tony, we're definitely going to have to work on some things."
ii. Estate
It was the mothcat who noticed the activity at the estate. Perking, Tony hadn't waited to take off like a little kite gliding along with the girl trailing behind him. He'd started to take to the harness, which at least assured Omega that the flying fuzzball would stay within sight. The last thing she wants is have Jon get mad at her for not looking after the mothcat.
"Whoa... what's going on here?" she marvels, spying the grounds-keeping robots as they buzz about their work. She's never seen any droids like these before. After catching Tony making an attempt at pouncing the busy bots, she decides to keep a hold of him as she enters the estate building itself.
It's not a building she's ventured into during her previous visits, but it's definitely more lively with all the robots at work. It puts her at ease, even if they aren't very talkative. She might wear herself out following them as they go about setting up furniture, so if one doesn't catch her poking about after them, perhaps they'll come upon her napping on a pile of bedding left in one of the rooms with a mothcat curled up beside her.
iii. Target Practice
With danger of falling leaves and so many trees around, it was difficult to find a suitable spot for practicing with her bow. Omega finally settles for using the quarry. She's chalked out some wibbly targets here and there along varying levels where she could find a decent surface that jutted up. To hopefully keep Tony busy, she's found him a box from the estate to play in. Hopefully the robots won't miss it.
The girl extends her energy bow, taking aim at one of the farther targets before pulling back and then releasing a shot of violet energy. She makes a slight face as it clips the edge of the target. She's out of practice and can only imagine what Echo would say.

Target Practice
"Little Bear, heel!" she called, and the dog came to a stop, looking back over his shoulder at Lark before giving a mournful whine and trotting to her side, even as he kept looking back toward Omega.
"Forgive me, Omega. It seems he lacks range discipline. Which makes sense, being a dog."
no subject
"Easy Tony," she coaxed, folding up her bow so she could scoop the winged kitten out of the box and more importantly, hang onto the harness so he wouldn't fly off somewhere. She smiled over at Lark as she pet the mothcat to calm him down. "He surprised me. Well, both of us," she said. "But at least he seems to follow directions better than Tony here."
no subject
That seemed only fair. Omega had been here first.
no subject
Indeed the mothcat seemed to relax a little, still pressed against the girl, tail wrapping slightly around her side. His eyes were on the dog, cautious but also curious.
Omega smiled, continuing to stroke the mothcat's back. "Have you been here long?" she asked Lark. "I meant to go back earlier but something seems to be wrong with the train."
no subject
"I came when the darkness came over Temba. I was walking Little Bear and we happened to be at the station. The weather was ominious, so I sought the nearest shelter. I wasn't expecting..."
There was so much going on, and she had fled. Which was rpobably wrong.
"The train will be off for a while I fear."
no subject
"I should contact Echo and tell him I'm still here," she said, letting Tony slip from her hands and glide to the ground as she pulled out her tablet. The mothcat sunk to the ground almost mirroring Little Bear's position as he continued to watch the big dog.
no subject
"The storms here, they are supposed to be very bad. I have heard they shut down electronics. Likely that is why we can't reach them now. The communications system doesn't work to reach them, and the train will not travel."
The girl was clearly missing someone too. Lark was worried over Kaz, and Tony. She feared what might happen with Jon if something messed with his ability to control himself.
Little Bear was too distracted by the mothcat to care about her distress right now though. His tail started to wag vigorously enough to shake his backside. Was it play time?
no subject
The thought that something was going on back in Temba was troubling, and she didn't like the feeling that settled in her stomach. Not only her brother, but her other friends could still be there, some the very same that had passed through Lark's thoughts then.
Tony the mothcat seemed to pick up on Little Bear's growing excitement, his own tail swishing back and forth as he started to gather himself up. He crept a little closer, inching to one side, then the other.
sometimes life denies you notifs.
"I have tried working with the 'signal' to boost it. However even with the datapoint I do not believe I am the best at working with these 'communicators'. I am sorry. But I shall do what I can to listen for them and for news."
Beyond their drama was the animals, and with the mothcat prowling closer Little Bear's body language change. His backside rose in the air as he pushed himself to his feet. And then he was standing, and dipping down into a play bow. Play? Was it play time?
life's terrible like that

End?
General Exploration
But to hear the name Tony had Reeve torn away from the thing he was looking at to investigate. Had his friend escaped here from Temba? Reeve had to hope so.
Coming around the corner to see a child and a mothcat wasn't... well, it wasn't something he knew what to do with.
"Hello."
no subject
"Hello," she replied not quite shyly, although she looked a little sheepish as she noted Tony's fearsome attack. Stepping over she tried to gather him up. "Sorry about that."
no subject
"Please don't apologize. You've done nothing wrong. A fierce little protector isn't a bad thing to have."
no subject
"Tony, don't you even think about it."
no subject
And this was right when Mini came around the corner.
no subject
Of course that was in response to the mothcat making his inevitable pounce at the bipedal cat creature.
no subject
"Ah, I see what you mean," he noted as Mini let itself be pinned, clearly concerned about hurting the mothcat.
"Is there a good way to separate it from my companion without either of them being harmed?"
"Aye and make it quick lassie!" Mini added.
no subject
Omega was momentarily surprised by what had come around the corner. Cats themselves weren't exactly a common sort of creature anywhere she'd been. "Ah- right! Here, I don't think he means any harm." She stepped over to the two, crouching down. "Tony?" she said, just to make sure she had the mothcat's attention. His ears swiveled as he tried pawing at Mini's face. "That's enough, all right? Come here." She leaned in to carefully detach the mothcat, who thankfully had not dug in with claws but gave an inquiring prrt? as she picked him up.
"Sorry. Are you okay?" Omega asked as she looked to Mini, holding out a hand to him.

Would you be okay with wrapping this one soon?
oh yeah, I was trying to find a good place to fade off or something but we just kept going XD
Estate
He went in and out of each of the rooms, not really seeing anything of interest and again nothing was coming after him so there wasn't much for him to do. But then he happened to spy someone he didn't know asleep on the bed and what looked to be a cat with wings curled up next to her.
So he stood there for a moment not wanting to disturb her, but curious as to why she was there asleep. How could she sleep so peacefully with the robots? And just as he was about to turn and leave, that one of the robots accidentally rammed into his leg and knocked him down which caused him to let out a surprised yelp.
"Watch where you're going."
no subject
She pushed herself up from the makeshift bed, which was mostly a bunch of sheets she'd fluffed into a more comfortable pile for the lack of actual mattresses. "Oh- are you okay?" she asked once she saw Terra there. She left the mothcat on the bed as she moved to hop off of it.
no subject
Terra was just picking himself up off of the floor when he startled at seeing her approach.
So much for letting her sleep peacefully.
"Ya..I'm fine. Sorry, if I woke you up."
Because he really hadn't meant to.
no subject
"I'm Omega," she said, holding a hand out to help tug him to his feet. She knew he probably didn't need the extra assistance, but she still wanted to offer either way. "What happened? Did you trip on something?"
no subject
The hand being held out reminded him of the time he held his own out to Zack in the Coliseum and he was happy to see her do the same. So he took her hand and stood up, letting go almost immediately. "I'm Terra, nice to meet you."
But to the last, he just shook his head. "I bumped into one of the robots I think."
no subject
She glanced back at the bed to make sure the mothcat was still where she'd left him before she went to peek out the door. "It's so busy here now. When I first came over to the city it was so quiet. I guess having power made a big difference."
no subject
"Have you been here long?" It still made him wonder how people of all other types of worlds ended up being stuck in one space. He had more questions too, but they could wait a moment.
no subject
"The last couple of times I was here, the power hadn't been restored yet, so it was quiet."
