WHO: Omega, Tony the Mothcat and whoever's in Sh'Ka
WHERE: Sh'Ka
WHAT: Not getting into any trouble, honest!
WHEN: During the Apocalypse in Temba
WARNINGS: N/A
NOTES: Will match pose pref!

i. General Exploration
Omega hadn't meant for her trip to the other city to be as long as it was, but there was nothing to do about the train being inoperational, nor the comms ceasing to send out. She could only hope that Echo wasn't worrying too much about her absence, but she'd been sure to let him know where she was going beforehand at the very least, and she wasn't alone. There had been others aboard the train at the time. Maybe they're still around.

Even knowing that there are others from Temba here in Sh'Ka, it's still an entire city. Things are still quiet, and the young clone tries to remember to be cautious as she goes about her exploring. She fancies herself out patrolling, wandering along the streets, keeping nearer to buildings. At times she comes to a halt by the edge of a wall, holding up a fist the way someone would signal for a halt to their troops. Except the only one with her is a rambunctious little mothcat on a harness who never fails to leap on ahead, oblivious to her intents. And with a sigh and a shake of her head, Omega could only follow after. "Tony, we're definitely going to have to work on some things."

ii. Estate
It was the mothcat who noticed the activity at the estate. Perking, Tony hadn't waited to take off like a little kite gliding along with the girl trailing behind him. He'd started to take to the harness, which at least assured Omega that the flying fuzzball would stay within sight. The last thing she wants is have Jon get mad at her for not looking after the mothcat.

"Whoa... what's going on here?" she marvels, spying the grounds-keeping robots as they buzz about their work. She's never seen any droids like these before. After catching Tony making an attempt at pouncing the busy bots, she decides to keep a hold of him as she enters the estate building itself.

It's not a building she's ventured into during her previous visits, but it's definitely more lively with all the robots at work. It puts her at ease, even if they aren't very talkative. She might wear herself out following them as they go about setting up furniture, so if one doesn't catch her poking about after them, perhaps they'll come upon her napping on a pile of bedding left in one of the rooms with a mothcat curled up beside her.

iii. Target Practice
With danger of falling leaves and so many trees around, it was difficult to find a suitable spot for practicing with her bow. Omega finally settles for using the quarry. She's chalked out some wibbly targets here and there along varying levels where she could find a decent surface that jutted up. To hopefully keep Tony busy, she's found him a box from the estate to play in. Hopefully the robots won't miss it.

The girl extends her energy bow, taking aim at one of the farther targets before pulling back and then releasing a shot of violet energy. She makes a slight face as it clips the edge of the target. She's out of practice and can only imagine what Echo would say.

Tony, was it? So not unlike their creative engineer gentleman. How intriguing. And probably a coincidence. Little Bear, in the mean time, at at Lark's feet, trying to look small which was not easy for a dog his size.

"I came when the darkness came over Temba. I was walking Little Bear and we happened to be at the station. The weather was ominious, so I sought the nearest shelter. I wasn't expecting..."

There was so much going on, and she had fled. Which was rpobably wrong.

"The train will be off for a while I fear."

"There was darkness like a storm rolling in," she said, her hand coming to her chest as some comfort while she remembered what happened.

"The storms here, they are supposed to be very bad. I have heard they shut down electronics. Likely that is why we can't reach them now. The communications system doesn't work to reach them, and the train will not travel."

The girl was clearly missing someone too. Lark was worried over Kaz, and Tony. She feared what might happen with Jon if something messed with his ability to control himself.

Little Bear was too distracted by the mothcat to care about her distress right now though. His tail started to wag vigorously enough to shake his backside. Was it play time?

She wished she knew if the young woman would take a hug for comfort. It wasn't something always accepted when given unprompted, so she had to hold back. For now.

"I have tried working with the 'signal' to boost it. However even with the datapoint I do not believe I am the best at working with these 'communicators'. I am sorry. But I shall do what I can to listen for them and for news."

Beyond their drama was the animals, and with the mothcat prowling closer Little Bear's body language change. His backside rose in the air as he pushed himself to his feet. And then he was standing, and dipping down into a play bow. Play? Was it play time?

"I do not know of the ships, but the train is down," she answered, and that distressed her. The thing had moved like clockwork since the Agrii had fixed it. This was not a good thing. "And it's too far for me to reach with magic, especially since I was never good at scrying."

There was something wonderful about being a dog, though. He didn't need to worry when his human was happily occupied, and with a new playmate he was happy. Even let the little thing paw at his face before he bounced back a step.

Yes, that was very true. And Lark didn't know if there were any pilots around in this city.

"I have not seen the ones you speak of. I have not met them I think. I am sorry. I wish I did."

The mothcat started to stalk around him and Little Bear happily bounced to keep turning to see the other.

It didn't help that Lark didn't know people to start with.

"We could look together if you want, but I wouldn't want to interrupt your target practice more than we already are doing."

Such as how Little Bear is doing it now with his showy toppling over because he clearly was seeing Tony as a pup that needed the confidence boost of taking him down.

Well, there weren't trees around dropping their terrible leaves, so there was a higher chance they would stay here than they would elsewhere.

"Yes, but it seems we are bound to this spot for a while, as our companions are playing. So perhaps you can demonstrate some of your skill? I promise to be respectful and attentive."

Very brave and successful, not-a-cat-creature. Little Bear laid on his side, his tail thumping in delight. Once Tony clearly made signs of wanting to snuggle in the dog started to squirm though, working to tuck his legs more comfortably under him.

Once Tony was settled in Little Bear gave a soft woof and closed his eyes. Clearly it was nap time and he wasn't going to argue.

"I think he can probably handle Tony. Bear helped raise a number of children," Lark noted with a smile. Granted those children had raised him as well and he clearly missed them dearly. There was little she could do that. Lark was definitely going to give him a treat later for the good behavior.

"So, where are your arrows?"

"How intriguing. It seems almost like magic," she said, clearly in awe of this. That said she truly didn't understand the technology, so to her it had to be magic.

"And your shot is very good."

"Is it perhaps not a suitable draw weight for you?" Lark asked, thoughtful at her comment. She knew enough about archery to understand that might be a factor. However she wasn't certain, given it was clearly something different going on than a normal bow.

"I haven't met Cid yet," Lark said, not knowing that the man wasn't here. But she was sad to know she had failed to meet people yet again.

"Distractions?"

From the sound of it the woman was a broker for potentially questionable activity, but she wasn't about to judge a child for getting involved with such things when it was likely those around her who took her into such potential danger. And she didn't even know if it would be danger she supposed.

"Would it be easier for you if I was silent? I'm not sure I'm quite good at being a reasonable distraction."

"You truly are a good shot though. It makes me contemplate taking up the bow myself, but..."

Well, she needed her fingers to be in certain condition to work with cloth.

"Are you doing better here than when you arrived? You seemed so lost. It sounds like you even found one of your brothers."
