WHO: Omega, Tony the Mothcat and whoever's in Sh'Ka
WHERE: Sh'Ka
WHAT: Not getting into any trouble, honest!
WHEN: During the Apocalypse in Temba
WARNINGS: N/A
NOTES: Will match pose pref!
i. General Exploration
Omega hadn't meant for her trip to the other city to be as long as it was, but there was nothing to do about the train being inoperational, nor the comms ceasing to send out. She could only hope that Echo wasn't worrying too much about her absence, but she'd been sure to let him know where she was going beforehand at the very least, and she wasn't alone. There had been others aboard the train at the time. Maybe they're still around.
Even knowing that there are others from Temba here in Sh'Ka, it's still an entire city. Things are still quiet, and the young clone tries to remember to be cautious as she goes about her exploring. She fancies herself out patrolling, wandering along the streets, keeping nearer to buildings. At times she comes to a halt by the edge of a wall, holding up a fist the way someone would signal for a halt to their troops. Except the only one with her is a rambunctious little mothcat on a harness who never fails to leap on ahead, oblivious to her intents. And with a sigh and a shake of her head, Omega could only follow after. "Tony, we're definitely going to have to work on some things."
ii. Estate
It was the mothcat who noticed the activity at the estate. Perking, Tony hadn't waited to take off like a little kite gliding along with the girl trailing behind him. He'd started to take to the harness, which at least assured Omega that the flying fuzzball would stay within sight. The last thing she wants is have Jon get mad at her for not looking after the mothcat.
"Whoa... what's going on here?" she marvels, spying the grounds-keeping robots as they buzz about their work. She's never seen any droids like these before. After catching Tony making an attempt at pouncing the busy bots, she decides to keep a hold of him as she enters the estate building itself.
It's not a building she's ventured into during her previous visits, but it's definitely more lively with all the robots at work. It puts her at ease, even if they aren't very talkative. She might wear herself out following them as they go about setting up furniture, so if one doesn't catch her poking about after them, perhaps they'll come upon her napping on a pile of bedding left in one of the rooms with a mothcat curled up beside her.
iii. Target Practice
With danger of falling leaves and so many trees around, it was difficult to find a suitable spot for practicing with her bow. Omega finally settles for using the quarry. She's chalked out some wibbly targets here and there along varying levels where she could find a decent surface that jutted up. To hopefully keep Tony busy, she's found him a box from the estate to play in. Hopefully the robots won't miss it.
The girl extends her energy bow, taking aim at one of the farther targets before pulling back and then releasing a shot of violet energy. She makes a slight face as it clips the edge of the target. She's out of practice and can only imagine what Echo would say.

That the thing was a patrol partner was shocking though. She looked so young. A comment he kept to himself for now.
"Does he have some way to communicate that he sees something, beyond pouncing?"
no subject
"No. Well, maybe if you watch his body language. He crouches down and his tail starts moving," she says, stooping a bit to demonstrate, holding a hand out to twitch back and forth as she explains the movement of Tony's tail. "Or his ears go up and he just keeps looking around for whatever caught his attention."
no subject
"I'm glad you have someone to work with when you're out. What about a weapon to defend yourself with?"
no subject
"Oh, I have a weapon," she said, letting Tony glide down to the ground as she reached back for the compacted frame slung behind her. She slipped the cuff around her left wrist, tapping at a button with her right hand which promptly activated the the violet line of energy that took place of a bowstring as the limbs swung out from their folded position.

As for the weapon, Reeve stared in shock. What a thing that was. In some ways it would fit in well back home. Except, you know, for the energy.
"How does it work?"
no subject
Omega pointed out the parts before she looked off towards a wall across from them, lifting the bow and drawing it back to demonstrate. She let the violet bolt fly, and when it hit it instantly dissipated, leaving only the vague red glow of an already cooling mark and a blackened singe.

"Like fire itself. But concentrated."
no subject
"I guess? I'm pretty sure it's what blaster rifles shoot too. Echo would know better, I think." She smiled again. "He's the one who taught me how to use this."

"In my world, there was a different meaning to the world 'soldier' and those it applied to didn't use guns. But I was lucky for having access to my magic here, instead of relying on the Agrii guns, which worry me."
no subject
"Is there something wrong with their weapons? Other than that you probably need certain instructions to use them?"
no subject
Ah, the Agrii weapons. Reeve had heard of what they do.
"You need the Agrii Security point for the weapons here, or they can go bad."
no subject
Omega sighed a little, nodding. She'd figured it would take a particular data point- not that she'd really thought about taking up Security. "Like everything else around the city."
no subject
"A shuriken is sort of a specialized throwing weapon. I could draw you a picture if you want."
And yes, like everything around hte city.
no subject
"We're all clones," she put forth, not that she'd ever thought it a bad thing to be what they were. It wasn't like they could help it.
"A picture would be helpful. My brother throws a knife pretty well, but I'm sure if you'd meant one you would've just called it a knife."
no subject
"Well, if I can find somewhere to sit down, I could sketch it for you."

"That is a very good idea. Perhaps inside."

"Woudl this work?"

"Looks good enough to me," she said.

"Hopefully it's sound."

"I shall hope it keeps being safe," Reeve answered.
