WHO: Omega, Tony the Mothcat and whoever's in Sh'Ka
WHERE: Sh'Ka
WHAT: Not getting into any trouble, honest!
WHEN: During the Apocalypse in Temba
WARNINGS: N/A
NOTES: Will match pose pref!
i. General Exploration
Omega hadn't meant for her trip to the other city to be as long as it was, but there was nothing to do about the train being inoperational, nor the comms ceasing to send out. She could only hope that Echo wasn't worrying too much about her absence, but she'd been sure to let him know where she was going beforehand at the very least, and she wasn't alone. There had been others aboard the train at the time. Maybe they're still around.
Even knowing that there are others from Temba here in Sh'Ka, it's still an entire city. Things are still quiet, and the young clone tries to remember to be cautious as she goes about her exploring. She fancies herself out patrolling, wandering along the streets, keeping nearer to buildings. At times she comes to a halt by the edge of a wall, holding up a fist the way someone would signal for a halt to their troops. Except the only one with her is a rambunctious little mothcat on a harness who never fails to leap on ahead, oblivious to her intents. And with a sigh and a shake of her head, Omega could only follow after. "Tony, we're definitely going to have to work on some things."
ii. Estate
It was the mothcat who noticed the activity at the estate. Perking, Tony hadn't waited to take off like a little kite gliding along with the girl trailing behind him. He'd started to take to the harness, which at least assured Omega that the flying fuzzball would stay within sight. The last thing she wants is have Jon get mad at her for not looking after the mothcat.
"Whoa... what's going on here?" she marvels, spying the grounds-keeping robots as they buzz about their work. She's never seen any droids like these before. After catching Tony making an attempt at pouncing the busy bots, she decides to keep a hold of him as she enters the estate building itself.
It's not a building she's ventured into during her previous visits, but it's definitely more lively with all the robots at work. It puts her at ease, even if they aren't very talkative. She might wear herself out following them as they go about setting up furniture, so if one doesn't catch her poking about after them, perhaps they'll come upon her napping on a pile of bedding left in one of the rooms with a mothcat curled up beside her.
iii. Target Practice
With danger of falling leaves and so many trees around, it was difficult to find a suitable spot for practicing with her bow. Omega finally settles for using the quarry. She's chalked out some wibbly targets here and there along varying levels where she could find a decent surface that jutted up. To hopefully keep Tony busy, she's found him a box from the estate to play in. Hopefully the robots won't miss it.
The girl extends her energy bow, taking aim at one of the farther targets before pulling back and then releasing a shot of violet energy. She makes a slight face as it clips the edge of the target. She's out of practice and can only imagine what Echo would say.

Terra was just picking himself up off of the floor when he startled at seeing her approach.
So much for letting her sleep peacefully.
"Ya..I'm fine. Sorry, if I woke you up."
Because he really hadn't meant to.
no subject
"I'm Omega," she said, holding a hand out to help tug him to his feet. She knew he probably didn't need the extra assistance, but she still wanted to offer either way. "What happened? Did you trip on something?"
no subject
The hand being held out reminded him of the time he held his own out to Zack in the Coliseum and he was happy to see her do the same. So he took her hand and stood up, letting go almost immediately. "I'm Terra, nice to meet you."
But to the last, he just shook his head. "I bumped into one of the robots I think."
no subject
She glanced back at the bed to make sure the mothcat was still where she'd left him before she went to peek out the door. "It's so busy here now. When I first came over to the city it was so quiet. I guess having power made a big difference."
no subject
"Have you been here long?" It still made him wonder how people of all other types of worlds ended up being stuck in one space. He had more questions too, but they could wait a moment.
no subject
"The last couple of times I was here, the power hadn't been restored yet, so it was quiet."
no subject
But at least he got where the misunderstanding had come in.
"A little too quiet..except for the robots." Terra observed, looking at them as they moved around.
no subject
Omega turned from the door, walking back to the bed where the mothcat had begun to stretch out from head to tail. "You awake now, Tony? Did you have a nice nap?" She stroked the creature's head and then laughed as he hopped up onto her shoulder.
no subject
The mothcat though had his attention but he wasn't going to offer to touch it. "What is that? I've never seen one of those before."
no subject
Looping the end of the leash that was attached to the harness around her wrist, Omega grinned as she turned to face Terra again. "He's a mothcat. I guess they're native to this world. His family likes to hang around the library back in Temba, but this one likes to explore and get into trouble. Don't you?" She scratched the creature under the chin, rewarded with a purr.
no subject
This was the first he'd heard of anyone keeping anything like that. And then of course he had more questions, but he figured inundating her with questions was rude so he'd just have to wait to find out.
no subject
She knew what was coming as the mothcat hopped off her shoulder, fluttering his wings to remain airborne. The creature flapped over towards Terra, a considerably taller perch, and Omega had to follow as she let the leash have some slack, so she wouldn't get Terra tangled up as Tony carried out his inspection before trying to settle upon the man's shoulder to paw at the shiny pauldron.
no subject
But those thoughts came to a halt as the mothcat seemed to take off from Omega. His blue eyes blinked as the creature seemed to look him over and inspect him. And then the momentary hesitation turned into a little bit of joy.
Even if Terra was a perch, he was a proud perch at the moment. And he was careful not to move, lest he disturb the pawing. "He's really cute."
no subject
"He is. I'm sure he knows it too- it's hard to stay mad at him." She smiled. "They're attracted to shiny things, him and family. If you went to the library you'd probably be swarmed," she giggled.
no subject
"So..what do these little ones even eat?"
no subject
"Meat, I think. I've seen them stalking insects at times," Omega replied.
no subject
no subject
"I was told that. I've never seen a cat so I can only guess," she said. "They do have 'cat' in the name though, so I suppose it's not wrong."
no subject
So he looked at Omega with a smile. "Has to be something to it then."
no subject
"Although now that you've mentioned eating, I'm getting a little hungry."
no subject
"I'm not sure what's safe here or not, but we can go take a look."
It was better than doing nothing about it he figured.
no subject
"All right, let's go," Omega said, nodding as she gave Tony a pat on the head once the mothcat had settled on her shoulder.

It put him in mind of Aqua who would cook for the three of them. And it made his heart ache at missing them since he'd already been away ten years. But he tried to put it out of his head as he continued looking.
And then he stopped as he came to a place that looked like it contained a stove. And as Terra ducked inside, he spoke up. "In here."
no subject
"It's...very quiet in here, isn't it?" she observed. Compared to the other rooms and halls of the estate, there weren't any bots in here to do anything at all.
no subject
But he started looking to see if there was any actual food here and for some reason there seemed to be a lot of cabinets. So that's where he started searching.
