WHO: Lauri-Ell and You
WHERE: All Around
WHAT: A Day In The Life of a Security Woman
WHEN: Mid April
WARNINGS: small possibility of a structural collapse and getting trapped under it.

1. Queen of Fitness | Civics Center Fitness Rooms

Dawn. Lauri-Ell returns from her patrol routine to the specific place she always to be found in the early morning. The former soldier had been taking care to restore the fitness focused areas of the Civics Center in the past months, and the space definitely showed it now. The time on Coruscant had been helpful in fitting her place better to her tastes. Now instead of worked stone weights for training, she had a few sets of heavy, plasticized dumbbells for people to work with. Nothing compared to the massive wooden log, almost three feet thick and five feet in diameter that she had worked into a shape meant for lifting the edge and flipping for core training, but they were useful anyway. And while there weren't workout machines, she had managed to weave ropes into grids for agility training, long ropes for resistance, and she'd even started the process of building an obstacle course. There were plenty of options for fitness.

The pinnacle of her creation, though, was a room she had taken over off to one side of the main space. The whole floor had been covered with sand hauled all the way from the beach, carefully run through a mesh sieve to keep the larger particles out of. The whole place had been worked down into a nice, relatively soft area for sparring, and there was even a few bags of sand hang from the ceiling for punching. Now if only she could figure out how to make proper mats instead for her sparring space.

Anyone entering would be met with Lauri-Ell there, smiling widely and waving at them.

"Welcome. Do you wish to work out? Spar? I would love to provide assistance."

Billy had said she should find something she wanted to do, wanted to be. And protecting others in every way she can come up with had won out.

2. A Glownie In Need Is A Glownie Indeed | Area of Pink 4

Part of life for Lauri-Ell had always been patrolling Temba. Part of it had come from the fact that, when she had arrived, she had her future Emperor and his Prince-Consort to protect. The rest of it came down to the fact that she was a genetically engineered soldier, and she really just didn't know what to do with herself if she wasn't walking patrols. Which was what she was doing, fully clad in her Accuser armor, the Universal Weapon in hand, and one of the Agrii Security Point guns hanging from a strap at her side. Surely she was kitted out for battle.

What she was not expecting was the distressed noise she heard while walking toward the hangar, or how the noise grew louder and more distressed noises buried under some rubble of the less stable buildings in the area. And that's when she realized what she was hearing.

"A glownie!" the woman gasped, shocked and moving toward the rubble to try and get to where the source was. "I will save you little beast!"

3. Exploring The Ghost of the Past | Pink 25 - Transport Station

Lauri-Ell loved plants, there was no denying that. There was beauty in the fragility of a flower, there was strength in the twisting of a vine, and there was wonder in the wash of green. But here, this place, it was wrong. Lauri-Ell's patrols often led her through this part of the city, eyes watching out for dangerous creatures encroaching in. Today, though, the silence and overgrowth was too much. Too like what she had seen in that New York City where her sister had hidden her during the war. Like the beautiful structure of glass and metal that housed plants where a Cotati had taken a captive little girl named Kit.

It was wrong here. It hurt her to see.

With a sigh Lauri-Ell moved further into the overgrowth, working her way through it. She wanted to see what this structure was, and the plants did not seem to want to let her through.

"I am not your enemy," she told the plants around her. "I wish merely to explore and see what this place was. What it could be. Please, i do not wish to damage you."

They weren't likely to listen.

"The structure of these is very similar to plants from home," Ophiuchus said as he floated back from his scans. "I don't detect any familiar toxic or poisonous structures but I can't promise that for everything."

"Thank you." Ikora nodded as she shook Lauri-Ell's hand. "Ophiuchus, this is Lauri-Elle. This is my Ghost. My... assistant."

"Partner." The Ghost bobbed in a little bow to the large alien. "Hello. A pleasure to meet you. Have you found any other dangers out here since those attacks?"

They were both very curious beings.

"I am Ikora's partner."

Ikora was amused by the proud way Ophiuchus said it. That hadn't always been the case with their relationship.

"Did you intend to explore deeper or do you not want to harm the plants?" Ikora asked as she examined the wall of green.

They could push through this wall together but it would most certainly damage the plants, possibly to the point of killing them.

"Do you mind if we come with?" Ikora stepped back respectfully but she made sure to have a clear view of what she was about to do.

That hammer reminded her of a Titan's solar hammer. It had to be very powerful.

Ophiuchus ducked behind Ikora's shoulder for a little bit of cover. He wasn't as eager to see things get smashed by a giant hammer.

That was a very impressive hammer. No Titan could do that. Zavala would be jealous.

"How come she got her weapons and we didn't?" Ophiuchus wondered aloud. There was no judgment in his tone. He was simply thinking out loud.

"Perhaps you are my weapon." Ikora nodded to Lauri-Ell. "Yes, I'm curious to see more. Would you like to take point?"

She had no obvious weapon on her but she was armed. And if things were truly desperate she could use the Void.

Once again, the ghost darted ahead but always circled back to the two women eventually. He didn't want to get into danger without them close by.

"Did you make it?" she asked as she followed into the still overgrown interior. She trusted her ghost would warn them if the air became dangerous. He was constantly checking their surroundings and his radar had not detected any living things. "Your hammer."

She studied the architecture as they walked. The buildings were similar to Earth with strange proportions. Ikora was fascinated by what she had seen while exploring so far.

There were a lot of sacred weapons it seemed. The Jedi had their lightsabers and she had her Universal Weapon. It was interesting. There were highly sought after weapons in her world but none that were sacred to her or Earth. They had taken a few weapons that were sacred though.

"My people aren't very interested in sacred things either," she mused as she considered the plant life around them. "I have favorite weapons but none that have any religious significance."

None of her favorites had come with her though. Cayde was lucky to have Ace and Sundance. She hoped to figure out a way to get Invective at some point.

"None?" That was interesting. Ikora had never met a race with no religion. There were plenty on Earth and other alien races had them. She supposed the Cabal didn't have one so much as they had a military structure they followed religiously. Still, it was odd. "That's a very rare thing."

Ikora continued past the fountain and went up to what looked like it may have been some sort of bench with perhaps a screen behind it.

"Ophiuchus." Her ghost floated over and scanned the wall but he still wasn't able to interface with the Agrii technology. She frowned.

"Yes, I think it would be a display of the transportation system." Ikora watched the screen flicker as Ophiuchus tried to bring it back to life. The ghost made a little growl of annoyance it when it wouldn't stay on.

"It would be nice to have a map as we explore. Can you download anything?"

"No! Not really. It's been dead a long time and this technology is not very cooperative. Hive rituals make more sense," her ghost grumbled as he tried to get more information from the sign.

"Yes, it's been helpful finding my way but the details are... lacking." They were especially lacking to Ikora's standards. She wanted more information but she was used to disappointment. They would have to map the transit system themselves it seemed.

Ophiuchus was more annoyed than her. It was rare Ghosts encountered technology they couldn't interface with.

"You should keep track and perhaps we can recreate a map of our own." That was Ikora's project for the moment. A more detailed map.

She appreciated Lauri-Ell also attempting a map. Ikora always liked more data instead of less. Ophiuchus began to dart back and forth scanning everything he came across as they moved.

"I wonder if this could be bought back online if the plants were cleared out," she wondered aloud as she studied the place. "It would be nice to move through the city easier."

And good for restoration efforts.

"Damage before would encourage abandonment allowing the plants to grow without anyone caring about trimming them back," she muses as she studies some strangely orange-purple leaves.

Once there's a gap big enough Ophiuchus darts through to scout ahead. "It's thick here! We should come back with a machete."

Ikora steps forward to help pull things apart. She doesn't have the same raw strength that Lauri-Ell does but she's stronger than an average human. She can help.

"Warlocks aren't known for their physical strength," Ikora said with a breathless laugh. She was not going to be able to keep up with Lauri-Ell forever. Hopefully, there would be a break from gardening eventually.

When the gap was big enough Ikora ducked under and then grunted as she held it up so that Lauri-Ell could squeeze through.

"There's some sort of really big flower up ahead," Ophiuchus warned, circling around them both. "I think it's a flower. It's really big and red. Looks like it would attract insects for pollination."
