Party at the Blue Bantha!

WHERE: The Blue Bantha in Coruscant's entertainment district
WHAT: A party!
WHEN: The last day before they leave.
WARNINGS: Fun times? Probably drunkenness.

After having found this place on an outing with Echo, Obi-Wan had decided he rather liked this one particular establishment they stopped at. So for their last evening on Coruscant, the Jedi had the place rented out. A network post also going up inviting everyone for one last hurrah before they have to go back to Temba.

Welcome to the Blue Bantha Bar and Grill!

Everything is very blue. A bright blue neon sign advertises the joint in the entertainment district. Its letters in Aurebesh with a little bantha head shaped neon light next to it as well. The lighting inside is distinctly blue as well. There is a mounted bantha head placed on the far wall above the bar, its fur having been dyed blue. Clearly it is the mascot of this place.

There are tables and booths in varying locations for people to sit. With the tables having bantha hide rugs under them that look reminiscent of shag carpet, while the booth seats have bantha hide upholstery as well. There's a band playing in one corner with space for people to dance. While on another side there are screens broadcasting sporting events from across the galaxy. Feel free to place bets on who you think will win!

Even the staff are either blue, or are wearing blue. It won't be uncommon to have a blue scantily clad Twi'lek waitress serving you. The long bar also has blue neon lighting with several stools to sit at, in which you can order whatever drink your heart desires on their menu.

Speaking of the menu, everything is made with bantha products. That is what they specialize in. Several types of Jawa Juice, a kind of beer made from fermented grains mashed in bantha hides, can be found here. As well as Bantha Blood Fizz, a sparkling drink made from purified bantha blood in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties. And of course they serve several drinks featuring blue milk, from just the plain stuff to several alcoholic concoctions. There is also food of course! Bantha steak, bantha burgers, bantha stew, and other meat dishes are served as it's pretty much this galaxy's equivalent of beef. You can even get desserts made from blue milk such as cheesecake and ice cream.

Have fun! The Temba group have this establishment all to themselves for the night!

Ezra, too, less than entirely consciously shifts his stance closer to military attention at nearly being called by the rank he does hold, if not the GAR, before he catches himself. He's never thought of himself as primary a soldier, but enough time around Rex and other Alliance officers with dedicated discipline...it rubs off.

The moment passes, and the teenager breaks into a grin. "Yeah, Echo, it's me. I don't think I'll stick with the robes all the time, but, I don't know - dressing up for tonight felt right. How have you been?"

It does that. You can take a clone out of the army, but you can't take the army out of the clone.

Echo grins, too. "It's a good look," he compliments, gesturing at Ezra with the cup still in hand. "But I'm doing alright, thanks for asking. How's everything been on your end?"

"Thanks," Ezra says earnestly, ducking his head a little, pleased but sheepish which rapidly shifts to faintly excited consternation. "It's been...weirdly busy? If everyone who's showed up here actually makes it back with us, we're gonna have a bunch of people to settle in. Including infants."

Babies, Echo. Actual babies on a disaster planet. What the kriff?

The busy part wasn't lost on him. Even if they really had no schedule to keep or an itinerary to follow, Coruscant managed to surprise them all.

In this regard the clone grunts in agreement, bringing the cup to his lips to finish its contents. This almost fails spectacularly when the young man mentions the infants among the new bodies for the return trip to Temba.

What the kriff, indeed.

"I..." Echo draws a blank visibly, mentally, verbally until his jaw works again. "I didn't think about that." A beat, and he holds up both hands in front of him. "–Wait, do we even have supplies for infants?"

"The Vanquish has been filling up a bunch of stuff - the moms of the youngest are assigned to it." Purposeful, or strange coincidence, he can't help but wonder.

"I assume the actual parents know what they need better than I would. But yeah, can't help but wonder about long term. Or something getting overlooked."

In Echo's head, the frantic last-minute planning comes to a complete stop. His brow pulls upward, also perplexed by this. "Huh. That's...convenient?" Like he isn't sure how to take this, but it's at least something.

Ezra has the right idea, however. "Maybe we can do one last run before we go."

"It probably can't hurt?" Ezra offers. "Supply run for little ones. Running a blockade on a mercy mission. There's some overlap there, right?" he adds, with a grin.

Echo's brow lifts. After a beat, he nods. "Yeah. It's basically the same thing." Between swigs, he then adds, "And we don't have to worry about enemy forces attacking us while we do it."

[ezra_of_lothal]

"Right! Just navigating crowds and hoping our ears don't get assaulted with crying much when get back home."

He knows they're both bullshitting, a little, but that's ok.

"Yeah!" Echo says enthusiastically, only to bring the cup in hand to a quickly-forming frown. "Yeah. It'll be fine."

It's fine. It'll all be fine. Let them believe.
