Party at the Blue Bantha!
WHO: Everyone!
WHERE: The Blue Bantha in Coruscant's entertainment district
WHAT: A party!
WHEN: The last day before they leave.
WARNINGS: Fun times? Probably drunkenness.
After having found this place on an outing with Echo, Obi-Wan had decided he rather liked this one particular establishment they stopped at. So for their last evening on Coruscant, the Jedi had the place rented out. A network post also going up inviting everyone for one last hurrah before they have to go back to Temba.
Welcome to the Blue Bantha Bar and Grill!
Everything is very blue. A bright blue neon sign advertises the joint in the entertainment district. Its letters in Aurebesh with a little bantha head shaped neon light next to it as well. The lighting inside is distinctly blue as well. There is a mounted bantha head placed on the far wall above the bar, its fur having been dyed blue. Clearly it is the mascot of this place.
There are tables and booths in varying locations for people to sit. With the tables having bantha hide rugs under them that look reminiscent of shag carpet, while the booth seats have bantha hide upholstery as well. There's a band playing in one corner with space for people to dance. While on another side there are screens broadcasting sporting events from across the galaxy. Feel free to place bets on who you think will win!
Even the staff are either blue, or are wearing blue. It won't be uncommon to have a blue scantily clad Twi'lek waitress serving you. The long bar also has blue neon lighting with several stools to sit at, in which you can order whatever drink your heart desires on their menu.
Speaking of the menu, everything is made with bantha products. That is what they specialize in. Several types of Jawa Juice, a kind of beer made from fermented grains mashed in bantha hides, can be found here. As well as Bantha Blood Fizz, a sparkling drink made from purified bantha blood in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties. And of course they serve several drinks featuring blue milk, from just the plain stuff to several alcoholic concoctions. There is also food of course! Bantha steak, bantha burgers, bantha stew, and other meat dishes are served as it's pretty much this galaxy's equivalent of beef. You can even get desserts made from blue milk such as cheesecake and ice cream.
Have fun! The Temba group have this establishment all to themselves for the night!
((OOC: This is a mingle log so go nuts!))

Bantha OTA
When she heard 'party', her first thought was to dress up for the occasion. Years of going to museum gallery premieres and operas have trained her mind to aim high. She puts on the sleeveless green dress she bought in the market and puts her hair up in a twist that's an approximation of one she'd seen Padme wear earlier, though not quite as ornate. Once she steps inside, her face falls for a few seconds before she gives in to the humor of the situation and laughs to herself.
"Awh, shit, I definitely overdressed."
B: Dinner
At first she's skeptical about such a one-note menu, but Clarice has been taught to be brave with her culinary choices, and she's already discovered the delights of the bantha burger. She orders a steak at the bar, but is told she should choose a table if she wants to eat - "the bar's for drinkin', Miss Fancy", she's told. With a self-deprecating smile, she approaches the closest table with an empty seat: if there's a familiar face there, even better, but if not, she'll make do and make friends. Parties are for socializing, after all.
"Hi, is this seat taken?"
C: Terrace Thoughts
Toward the end of the night, she takes one last piece of blue cheesecake out onto the terrace and looks up into the endless city. There are more speeders than stars, more lights and life than she could have ever imagined in one place, and in the midst of it all is a mystery she's still not sure she's completely found the answer to. She has a few inklings, though, and those are what run through her head as she stares off ... aptly, she thinks, with a wry smile ... into space.
D: Wildcard
((You know the drill. ;D))

The Exo saunters on over, offering up a fresh glass of one of many blue concoctions to her. "And who knows, maybe you'll end up too drunk to care." He grins. "Lookin' good, by the way." Who cares if you don't match the venue?
no subject
At the compliment, she flashes a modest smile. "Thanks, though. I got a lot of practical stuff for when we return, but ... sometimes a gal's just gotta get herself something nice."
no subject
He gestures towards a space at the bar, then pauses to reconsider as he sees it's right in the line of sight of a potentially glowering bantha head, so he continues his turn to nod over towards a table instead. "Nice is good! Can't be practical all the time, then things just get boring."
no subject
"Exactly. When I was training at Quantico, we all had a uniform: polo shirts and khakis. You can bet I made a beeline for the blue jeans as soon as the weekend rolled around. .... The time here's really flown, hasn't it?"
no subject
He waits until she's all settled before sitting down. "Oh they got those sliders we had at that other place. But you are so right, maybe that's just city-life for you. Blink and it's gone."
no subject
"Oooh, those sliders. Wouldn't mind a few more of 'em before we go. But I should try somethin' new, too. Maybe I'll save new for dessert - did you see that cheesecake?"

Really, who wants to eat straight glop? "Was worse on the Agrii ship, everything tasted like peanut butter and jelly no matter what it looked like. ...or was it just peanut butter?"
no subject
She paused to sip at her drink, weighing her menu choices one last time. "Tell me a little more about the Agrii?"
no subject
"For the most part they kind of behave like children, the way they think and reason things out. I don't think they mean any harm by the things they do but they're pretty naive."
no subject
"If they're so naive ... I dunno, it contrasts a little with the way they're able to accommodate us in places like this. Something about it all is starting to rub me the wrong way. Like we're missing something. But maybe that's just my background talkin'."
no subject
no subject
"Might just be that background after all," she admitted. "Thanks for the perspective, Cayde. I might need to come get a little of that from you once in a while."
no subject
Cayde shrugged a little. "But you'll probably get it if you meet the Agrii in person. I don't think they'd be very good at ulterior motives. Doesn't mean you take everything at face value- which I don't think you would, but if you need a sounding board now and then, I'm there."

A waiter wandered over to their table at the lull in conversation, and she ordered herself the steak and stew, along with a glass of that carbonated blood drink: both out of her own curiosity, and to see how Cayde would react, himself.
no subject
As Clarice made her order, Cayde had to arch a brow at the drink selection. That was one he hadn't been entirely sold on, although he looked more amused than disgusted when Clarice requested it. He grinned at the waiter, speaking up before they had a chance to head off. "Hey, can I get a glass of that Ice Blue drink?" Some frosty blue milk concoction with a hit of alcohol from what he could remember.

Cayde picked out the twisty straw that had been added to his drink, letting it drip out before wiping it off and setting it aside with the little green kid in mind.
