Party at the Blue Bantha!
WHO: Everyone!
WHERE: The Blue Bantha in Coruscant's entertainment district
WHAT: A party!
WHEN: The last day before they leave.
WARNINGS: Fun times? Probably drunkenness.
After having found this place on an outing with Echo, Obi-Wan had decided he rather liked this one particular establishment they stopped at. So for their last evening on Coruscant, the Jedi had the place rented out. A network post also going up inviting everyone for one last hurrah before they have to go back to Temba.
Welcome to the Blue Bantha Bar and Grill!
Everything is very blue. A bright blue neon sign advertises the joint in the entertainment district. Its letters in Aurebesh with a little bantha head shaped neon light next to it as well. The lighting inside is distinctly blue as well. There is a mounted bantha head placed on the far wall above the bar, its fur having been dyed blue. Clearly it is the mascot of this place.
There are tables and booths in varying locations for people to sit. With the tables having bantha hide rugs under them that look reminiscent of shag carpet, while the booth seats have bantha hide upholstery as well. There's a band playing in one corner with space for people to dance. While on another side there are screens broadcasting sporting events from across the galaxy. Feel free to place bets on who you think will win!
Even the staff are either blue, or are wearing blue. It won't be uncommon to have a blue scantily clad Twi'lek waitress serving you. The long bar also has blue neon lighting with several stools to sit at, in which you can order whatever drink your heart desires on their menu.
Speaking of the menu, everything is made with bantha products. That is what they specialize in. Several types of Jawa Juice, a kind of beer made from fermented grains mashed in bantha hides, can be found here. As well as Bantha Blood Fizz, a sparkling drink made from purified bantha blood in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties. And of course they serve several drinks featuring blue milk, from just the plain stuff to several alcoholic concoctions. There is also food of course! Bantha steak, bantha burgers, bantha stew, and other meat dishes are served as it's pretty much this galaxy's equivalent of beef. You can even get desserts made from blue milk such as cheesecake and ice cream.
Have fun! The Temba group have this establishment all to themselves for the night!
((OOC: This is a mingle log so go nuts!))

He'd be glad to be off this planet. It was the same galaxy, sure, but it wasn't home.
"You get into any more trouble?" he asked because he hadn't heard much about Echo when folks talked around the ships. There was a time when he hadn't seen the man. Cobb wondered if that had anything to do with the new scar. "Or was I it?"
no subject
"Just a few run-ins on the lower levels. I can blame Cayde for that, though."
no subject
He dealt around hand and tossed a few more credits into the pile. "Glad to see you in one piece though."
And he meant that, genuinely. Echo was a good man even if he wore a suit of armor Cobb wanted to punch.
no subject
Within the same instance, his brow lifted slightly as his gaze returned to the Marshal. It was simple, what he said. But it made him smile.
"Thanks. I can say the same for you." A soft joke, more or less, but held the same amount of value in terms of respect.
no subject
He chuckled. He probably deserved that comment considering the trouble Echo found him in. It hadn't been his best moment.
"I've been stayin' out of trouble. Helped that one..." He jerked his head in Padme's direction. "Distribute supplies for poor folks. That kept me busy for awhile."
And he'd helped Din get some of those supplies to his people too. It was a good end to the trip.

When Padme was pointed out, Echo blinked. "You helped Senator Amidala?" That earned Cobb some points. "I'm glad you were there to help. She did have a lot of crates waiting to be moved."
no subject
That hadn't come up when they talked. She had introduced herself by her name and that was it. Not once had she mentioned any sort of government position.
Which was good because Cobb would've distrusted every damn thing she did. Government folks didn't do anything without an ulterior motive that benefited them in some way. Her charity project would've been some sort of ploy.
It was hard to think of it that way now after helping with it and talking with Padme but that feeling if distrust was rearing its ugly head. "Didn't know she was a senator."
no subject
He wasn't sure what exactly was running through the man's mind at the time, but he sensed something was off from his earlier jovial nature.
His lip twitched, the line turning into a slight frown as he glanced at his cards. "...Of course, her being here technically doesn't make her a Senator now."
no subject
Especially politicians. Cobb had a real problem with them.
But... she'd been so nice. Genuinely so. Eager to help folks even while about to burst with babies. Twins! She'd still done hard work with everyone else to make sure that endless money went to people who needed it.
Cobb had a hard time making sense of it.

The clone's brow furrows. Now it's his turn to study Cobb as he comes up with his response. "I'm not sure. But I assume she's been one before the start of the war."
no subject
He grunted and dealt another round. He bet a little recklessly because he was distracted by the thoughts lurking in the back of his head. They weren't bad. Just troubled.
"Jedis. Senators. Soldiers. Mandalorians. Got a crew good enough for a holodrama around here," he said lightly to shift the mood.
no subject
Rinse, repeat. Echo waited, his hands automatically picking, exchanging, and sliding in another small sum for the pot, neatly tidying up the credit pile so that it wasn't all across the table.
Although he said nothing for a while, he couldn't help but snort. "Think it'd be popular among the civilians?" he asked, a smirk pulling at the corner of his lips.
no subject
"Oh, absolutely. All you need is the right story," Cobb said as he adjusted his cards. He was walking a fine line of going over twenty-three. "Gotta have conflict and drama. The Jedi and the Mandalorian have to work together but, you know, ancient enemies. A little romance, the Senator and Solider. All this playin' out while some villain is trying to, I don't know, take over a planet."
There wasn't a lot to do on Tatooine at night besides listen to holodrama broadcasts. "It'd run for hundreds of episodes."
no subject
Echo glanced at his cards again. Less than what he needed, from the looks of it. "I think I'd watch it," he said, chuckling a bit. "Maybe not for that many episodes, though."
no subject
Though, he'd rather the Mandalorian spent time with a Marshal but he didn't feel the need to explain that particular plot line to Echo.
"You're gonna miss an episode and be real disappointed when everyone else won't shut up about it." Maybe he'd actually get a holodrama to take back. If he got a projector and a few discs worth of dramas they'd have a good evening.
no subject
Echo shook his head, laughter held at the back of his throat. "I'll take my chances," he replied. "If all of you get to that point, I'm gonna ask for a reenactment."
no subject
But he would definitely get some holodramas to bring home for entertainment. And somehow wrangle Echo into watching a few. He had no idea what holodramas were around at this time but they were all the same anyway.
"I'll make a fan out of you yet."
