Party at the Blue Bantha!

WHERE: The Blue Bantha in Coruscant's entertainment district
WHAT: A party!
WHEN: The last day before they leave.
WARNINGS: Fun times? Probably drunkenness.

After having found this place on an outing with Echo, Obi-Wan had decided he rather liked this one particular establishment they stopped at. So for their last evening on Coruscant, the Jedi had the place rented out. A network post also going up inviting everyone for one last hurrah before they have to go back to Temba.

Welcome to the Blue Bantha Bar and Grill!

Everything is very blue. A bright blue neon sign advertises the joint in the entertainment district. Its letters in Aurebesh with a little bantha head shaped neon light next to it as well. The lighting inside is distinctly blue as well. There is a mounted bantha head placed on the far wall above the bar, its fur having been dyed blue. Clearly it is the mascot of this place.

There are tables and booths in varying locations for people to sit. With the tables having bantha hide rugs under them that look reminiscent of shag carpet, while the booth seats have bantha hide upholstery as well. There's a band playing in one corner with space for people to dance. While on another side there are screens broadcasting sporting events from across the galaxy. Feel free to place bets on who you think will win!

Even the staff are either blue, or are wearing blue. It won't be uncommon to have a blue scantily clad Twi'lek waitress serving you. The long bar also has blue neon lighting with several stools to sit at, in which you can order whatever drink your heart desires on their menu.

Speaking of the menu, everything is made with bantha products. That is what they specialize in. Several types of Jawa Juice, a kind of beer made from fermented grains mashed in bantha hides, can be found here. As well as Bantha Blood Fizz, a sparkling drink made from purified bantha blood in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties. And of course they serve several drinks featuring blue milk, from just the plain stuff to several alcoholic concoctions. There is also food of course! Bantha steak, bantha burgers, bantha stew, and other meat dishes are served as it's pretty much this galaxy's equivalent of beef. You can even get desserts made from blue milk such as cheesecake and ice cream.

Have fun! The Temba group have this establishment all to themselves for the night!

A green alien kid who's dressed like a Jedi, thankyouverymuch. He's even got a cloth braid looped around one of his ears.

He looks up at the unfamiliar voice, his ears raising curiously. Ohai. He waves a greeting. What are you talking about? Of course he's supposed to be there!

My god he's adorable. Kyle sort of wants to hug him.

Smiling, Kyle waves back. "Yeah, hi. Wow, you must have been hungry, huh?" He thinks - who would possibly bring a little kid to an alien bar? The place is rented out, so...

Kyle's eyes light up. "Oh, are you Mando's kid? He said he was looking after a, uhm, a foundling? Is that you, little dude?"

It's okay, Kyle. Most people want to. Some people actually do. He has that effect on people.

He smiles, nodding at the second question. Yes, he is, indeed, Mando's kid. Kind of. It's complicated. But yes!

"Aww, that's awesome!" Kyle is perfectly genuine in his enthusiasm. "He's a super cool guy. Well, I'm Kyle. I guess you can't tell me your name, and Mando never told me what it was. So, if it's okay, I'll just call you Little Dude until I find out what it is."

Grogu makes a happy little noise, clearly pleased with his enthusiasm. Hey, Din called him 'kid' most of the time, so he's used to being called weird stuff.

He nods, his ears raising. Sure, you can call him 'Little Dude.'

"You're adorable, Little Dude. I'm a little worried that you're stuck on a super dangerous planet where it sounds like weird stuff happens on the regular." Kyle has no problems talking to an infant like an adult, having grown up with a genius for a baby brother.

"But there's lots of people to look out for you."

He appreciates that, given that he's technically old enough to be your dad, Kyle.

He smiles. No worries, Big Dude. He's got skills and a whole bunch of bigger dudes to look out for him.

"Yeah, you don't look too concerned." Kyle waves at the server. "I think this little guy needs a drink, like milk or something? Thanks." He looks back at his new small friend.

"You know, Mando is kind of a single-dad. I'll have to tell him if he ever gets a date or something I can watch you. You'd like that, I bet. I'm an awesome sitter."

Nope. Not concerned at all.

The server, in contrast, is concerned about the amount of food the little guy is consuming. but who are they to judge?

Grogu is happy about the idea of another babysitter. Kyle seems like he'd be fun to hang out with. What could go wrong?!He makes a happy noise and nods. Sure, dude! Also, is he ever going to tell him what a dude is?

Kyle grins. "Oh man, you even SOUND cute. With your like... little football head." Grogu does look pretty puntable. Not that Kyle would EVER do such a thing. ...now.

"I don't think we have TV on Agra, so I guess I can't let you stay up late and watch movies, but I be we could find something cool to do. You like to draw? I bet we could totally get you some crayon type shit. Actually..."

The second the server returns with a drink for Grogu Kyle asks her if he could get some paper and a pencil or a pen or something. Giving him the look one reserves for drunks who are harmless but potentially unhinged, she does return with some sort of paper media anyway.

"See?" His own skills in this area are limited, but he draws a happy face before handing the writing implement to Grogu.

Football head? TV? He... doesn't understand.

But that's okay. He feels the emotions behind Kyle's words and, though he doesn't completely understand them, he know that Kyle means him no harm.

Why are people continually trying to get him to draw stuff? Billy did the same thing. He looks at Kyle strangely for a moment. Dude. He's from here. They didn't do crayons. But the little happy face is cute. He takes the writing implement and looks at it curiously. After a long moment, he draws a squiggle.

"Hey, that's pretty good!" Would the way Kyle treats him be any different if he had any idea how old Grogu is? No, not really. His genius little brother liked drawing just fine, thank you.

He looks contemplatively at Grogu as he scribbles. "You're lucky to have someone watching out for you, little dude. And you're gonna be okay because of it."

That's a tough one. Dude, he's old enough to be your Dad! Granted, over half of his life was basically spent in solitary confinement... but still!

He smiles, it's nice to be praised... even if it's for something as simple as a squiggle on a page. He nods, making a happy noise. Yes, he's happy to have his adopted Dad there.
