[Considering there’s half a dozen ships with several people on each, Obi-Wan knows the best way to get everyone’s attention was to use the network. Thus as he is walking somewhere on the planet, speeders zipping past and other pedestrians milling by, he decides to make a recording.]
Welcome to Coruscant everyone.
if you don’t already know, we have found ourselves on one of the core worlds in a galaxy that myself and several others are from. We are approximately 900 years in the past from my point of view.
Coruscant is entirely covered by one city, and is the capital of the Galactic Republic which governs much of the galaxy. This world is quite literally an urban jungle with over five thousand levels stacked atop each other from the ground up. The atmosphere is artificial and you are unlikely to find any natural spaces here.
It is my recommendation that you keep to the upper levels as much as you can. However, if you do decide to go into the Underworld I advise caution as it can be quite dangerous.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Also, do not hesitate to contact me if you find yourself in trouble.

However, most of my childhood was spent in the Jedi Temple.

That's pretty young. If you're not from here originally why did you end up here when you were that little.

That's dangerous since it makes kids think they're somehow better than other people.
[ Or makes the country that's training them think it's better. Kaz supposes a planet isn't that different. ]

However, when beings possess abilities such as ours it can still be difficult to avoid.
Even so, they would be more likely to fall into such a trap if left to their own devices. Not to mention those around them would see them as monsters or try to exploit them. Without learning proper control, Force sensitives would likely come to harm themselves and others.
We see it as our responsibility to prevent such tragedy.

and they arethen exploitation and being seen as monsters happens anyway. ]That's a slippery slope, though. People start making decisions for kids and the kids grow up, then who's making the decisions? You're back to the same problem of exploiting, but despite any power they have, it's adults that are getting manipulated now because they don't know any better.

Anyhow, as much as I would like to debate the intentions and long standing traditions of my people and our culture, I’m afraid I have more pressing matters.
If you have any further questions about the planet, feel free to contact me at a later time.
