[Everyone on the network is used to being greeted by a face. Well, this time said face is covered up by a shiny silver helmet, with a T-shaped visor.]
Well, this is a situation. These Agrii need to work on their greeting.
[You can't see it, but you can probably hear the annoyed frown on his face under the helmet. Hear that Agrii? That's this bounty hunter's opinion on your whole orbs thing. He's thankful the kid didn't have to go through that crap. They're like something that the Empire would have used on prisoners. Even if it did give him useful information.
Speaking of the child, those paying attention might just be able to hear a low curious childish croon, and maybe see a peek of green, or even the tip of a pointy ear, from behind Mando's head/neck. Mando meanwhile ignores it for the moment.
Anyway....]
My name is Mando [He'd tell his real name some other time, strangers didn't need to know. Not yet. So...how does one find work around here, and lodging. [Do they even do bounty hunting here?]

[Cal shrugs.]
No bounties here, but plenty of opportunity to exercise survival skills.
The data points sound useful, but I can't help but be wary about them. Mostly because I'm not too crazy about having information downloaded into my head like a droid.
[There's an inquisitive beep off screen, and Cal glances to the side, smiling crookedly.]
No, I don't think I could get used it, BeeDee. Not sure I want to.
Well, they missed their mark. I'm not a hero. [Really, bringing in a bounty hunter? Hardly the hero type to most people out there.]
I'm getting that feeling. This isn't the first time, I've had to stay in buildings like this. [Or being short on supplies. Being on the run makes for interesting times.] And it looks like most of you are faring well here, too.
[He raises an unseen eyebrow at the beep off screen. Oh a droid. There may just be an inquisitive burble from over his shoulder.]
Neither am I. They need to find another way to give that information. [Being treated like a droid isn't helping their first impression.]
[He shakes his head. 'Difficult' just skims the surface, really.]
They seem to prefer direct methods. Except for getting in contact with us.
[There's just the slightest roll of his eyes there. He's not sure exactly where he sits with the Agrii yet, but he doesn't quite trust them so far.
The padawan gives a slight lift of his chin.]
You came with someone?
And yet they won't help repair this city?
[A city that's probably theirs? Din shakes his head. The Agrii are definitely going to have to work harder to impress him.
The question however gets a glance over his shoulder, and a quiet coo, before he looks back to the feed.]
--Yes, my foundling was brought with me. [--and cause he's already had one person ask, he holds up a hand to stop questions.] He'll be fine long as he's with me.
Between the people I've actually spoken to and those I've seen over the network? Maybe a little less than twenty, although I can't claim I've met or seen everyone here either.
No, the Agrii seem pretty adamant on having us do it. They insist the storms are deadly for them. I'm a little confused as to how they even built the city- I was asking them for tools to repair their equipment and machines but it sounded like they didn't even know how to do it themselves. Or things were lost in translation...
[He can't imagine how easy it's going to be with a child to look after in such a place, but he has no reason not to trust the Mandalorian's reassurance. And really, if the Mando's as good as what he's heard of their warriors, then the safety of a child is the last thing he'll worry about. He nods.]
I don't doubt that. But if you need anything, not like I don't have spare time around here.
...oh. I'm Cal, by the way.
--and they expect us to rebuild this city. Right. [Din is really getting less and less impressed with their hosts. He's frowning under the helmet.] Fixing things can be taught. But the Agrii would have to be willing to learn. [And he's not seeing that happening.
Taking care of the small child in this place is going to be testing. But evidently the Agrii thought it could be done, otherwise the kid wouldn't be here, right?]
Mostly, I could use someone to show me around. I've been told there's an inn and hotel here.
[A faint smile, another nod.]
That I can do. Not hard to find the hotel, thankfully. The map the Agrii provided doesn't explain very much so BeeDee and I have been trying to map out the area as we explore it.
The hotel is one of the larger building, correct?
