[Eli appears, holding his officer's cap in his hands and looks distressed. Perched on his shoulder is Re-1, Altair's scout droid.]


For those who know Altair, he seems to have gone home.... I found Re-1 at the door by itself and I learned he hasn't been at the hospital or the power plant. With Re-1 still being here....does that mean he isn't truly gone? I would have thought if he went permanently home his scout droid would have went as well. Granted....I'm not sure how this really works. I just hope that means he might come back.

--If someone could watch out for the kitchen for me it would be appreciated. Otherwise, I may temporarily close it down. I want to check in on those at the hospital in case no one else is around who can.

[That had been his main excuse, but the other reason being the toll of loosing Thrawn and Altair had hit him hard and it was hard to concentrate on the tasks before him. Let alone gather his own thoughts. He then ended the feed.

[Thanks, Tommy now he's blushing even more. More so then he's done so in ages. It takes him a few minutes to compose himself and figure out a quick explanation.]

Er...yeah...I suppose in a sense....but I've known Thrawn way before he climbed the ranks. Both our careers with the Imperial Navy started at the same time. Only he got to climb up where they held me back because the people in the Empire thought it funny. They don't like aliens or people from Wild space so we were quite a commodity. But it didn't stop our friendship from developing.

I'm aware. Unfortunately in order to have a decent career I had to put up with it. I also knew if I fought to work with someone else, Thrawn wouldn't have stood a chance.

[Good to hear. Because he's definitely making his way through the storm to get to the guy's place.]

[Eli had rearranged his room to accommodate room for Tommy and also had some towels ready incase he needed to dry off from all that rain. He also grabbed some food stuffs that could count for as snacks, and some drinks up to the room. This kind of reminded him back home when he an the gang would be camping out.]

[If it helps, Tommy had loaded up in the greenhouse and has a bag full of fresh fruits and veg when he arrives. But yeah, he's definitely dripping when he arrives, and he doesn't look happy when he arrives.]

Normally I could dry off by vibrating. I hate this.

Oh....right no powers. I keep forgetting that storm is causing that. I feel bad for having you come out this way in this mess.

[He hands Tommy the towels to dry off with.]

When I was out in the storm before the city, I sprained my ankle in the storm. That's not, you know, easily possible when I'm fully me.

[He does dry off, though, tossing his bags to Eli.]

So, Bloopi, you okay?

....Bloopi? I know you like using nicknames...but I'm trying to make sense of this one?

[Eli caught the bags easily enough and placed then next the to the foodstuffs he had brought up.]

[He offers a sigh as he works over drying his hair. He hates dripping.]

[He just huffed in annoyance not liking figuring out things. He'll figure it out eventually. He's not going to give up so easily.]

Right....You at least have people you know here. I'm sure that helps. I know more people now....but it's not the same. I don't have anyone from home here.

[Eli's never heard of the Blue Men Group so it's probably not that useful.]

I don't know. I mean, there are people I am here familiar with but even that's not the same. I... was a hero there. Here I'm just a guy.

Yeah, I can understand that to a point. At home I was a Lieutenant. Now I'm simply a civilian with out any major skills that can help out. It's hard making such a transition especially when unprepared for that change.

So what was it like to be a hero?

It's... not easy.

[Finished with his hair, Tommy drapes the towel over a chair to make sure it dries.]

I spend a lot of time, given my powers, disarming baddies and pulling civilians out of the line of fire.

..Kind of what I had to do with out super powers. We only kept pirates from raiding ships and such.

[How interesting. But Tommy shrugs.]

My team came to get me because they needed help. So I guess I was mostly meant to keep pirates from kidnapping a prince.

Really. I wouldn't have thought to meet someone else who had to deal with them. This prince your brother's fiance?

Yeah. Hit space-prince-emperor fiance. The guy's here now. Great guy, child of two warring races. And they decided to fight over him.

I suppose I'll eventually meet your brother and his fiance. That sounds like one big headache if you ask me.

[He began to rummage through the snack food wanting something to eat while the talked. He was a little amused though that their 'snack food' ended up being vegetables and fruit.]

[Tommy sighs and peels one of the cyananas he brought, flopping down to sit on the floor.]

They're going to be good at ruling together. Bringing peace and all that shit. Three powerful races, united in one.

That was kind of what Thrawn wanted to do. His race sent him to the Empire hoping the Empire would ally with them to defeat a big threat that was in the Unknown Regions. But it seems the Empire really doesn't want to "help". Even though technically they should. What goes on there will hurt us here in someway or another.

With you being Billy's brother won't they expect you to be helping among that fun stuff?

[Interesting. Tommy considers it. Did that threat ever come for Eli's people? What would happen if it did?]
