[Video] / [ST S3 Spoilers within]
Someone want to explain something to me?
[It starts with just voice, Hargrove's voice, out by the beach judging by the sound of the waves. Then it clicks over to video as he figures that part out.
In the viewfinder is a 1979 Z/28 Camaro, but she's absolute mess. There's evidence of a fire under the hood; the windshield is smashed from some impact at it; there's blood where the window meets the driver door; the passenger side is smashed inwards a little bit from something hitting it. Oh, and it sits on the beach and while that's where Billy's been staying, that's not ideal for it.
He has no idea what the fuck happened to his car, but he's both angry and devastated.]
The fuck happened here? Is this some kind of sick joke, finding and bringing my car to me like this?! We don't even have a mechanic shop here!

That's ... that really is a sick joke. It's just ... ugh!
[He can't stand to see a beautiful car in this condition.]
I wonder if there's any way it can be fixed here....
[He might be able to do something, but he's not sure. He helped his friends build motorcycles from scrap, but this ... this is a whole new level of disaster.]
Video
If it's a sick joke and I find out who the fuck did it, I'm putting them six feet under with my own hands.
[And that sounded like a fucking promise at this point. And if he couldn't do it with his hands well... he had an axe.]
I don't know. I'm gonna try. God, I don't even know what the fuck happened. The windshield - something hit my car while I was driving and that's--
[He clams up. Billy doesn't want to talk about it while he's angry. It'll make it worse.]
It wasn't like this last I saw it. The windshield might be the hardest part to find around here.
Re: Video
He frowns, listening.]
... I'll try to help you if you want. I don't know how much help I'll be; I've only worked on motorcycles. But I might be able to do something.
Re: Video
There are ships here, right? There's gotta be shit we can use from that to try and fix my Camaro up. At least there's other motor people here like you that aren't completely fucking stupid that can help.
[His hand appears to move over some of the parts, testing to see how bad everything is and...yeah, it's bad. Broke but not broken.]

How'd you manage that one, Hargrove? Whose dick do I have to suck to get my van back?
no subject
Don't know. I heard something outside my beach cabin and came out to find it like this. The fuck did you guys do to it in Hawkins?! I know I wasn't the best guy in town, but I didn't think you guys would beat the shit out of my car!
[Because he doesn't fucking know.]
no subject
I didn't get dragged into this shit until you were in the ground, Man. I don't know what happened to your car. Last time I saw her was you peeling out of the school parking lot, and she didn't look like that.

[It wasn't completely beyond saving though, he didn't think. He could probably help--but was it worth it, dancing around his secret?]
You gonna try and fix it up?
no subject
[Now Billy just sounds annoyed, and rightfully so. He wasn't about to give up on his car just because it looks like it went through hell and back. Which, it kinda did, if Hawkins is anything to go by from what the others have said.]
I'll have to figure out parts and shit. The windshield will be the toughest but it's not impossible. Just harder, that's all.
no subject
[Not that he actually knew shit about that in particular, but he was still well aware that replacing a windshield wasn't easy. Especially in a place like this. It wasn't like they had an abundance of replacements at the ready.]
How bad is it under the hood?

voice;
[Besides, in a way, it's kind of nice to see Billy's car, even totally trashed. She sounds amused, clearly not serious about this, and not bothering to answer him.]
We're going to need a lot of duck tape.

[Ah, there's the Billy she knows and might not love. But it at least sounds like him. And he lets out an irritated breath.]
Did you do this? If you did, at least say you ran Neil over. Make it worth it.
no subject
Sadly, I can't take any responsibility for this one. Some of the damage was you, or necessary to keep flayed you from killing us.

[Even though he doesn't know Chrissy all that well, he can tell enough that none of this was her doing, and from what Max and Robin have said, didn't involve her at all.]
Apparently not, but this was more... the others trying to stop the not-me thing rather than Hawkins being its usually shit self.

[ understatement of the year ]
I feel like it indirectly counts as another victim of Hawkins's shenanigans, though.

[He's probably going to head right out after he does it. And get the kid into some fucking sparring to get the anger at least channeled out of immediate crisis mode.]
Re: [Audio]
[There's the sounds of him fussing about under the hood, though only the underside of said hood can be seen, and sometimes curls moving in and out of the edge.

I'd say someone stole it for a joy ride or something, but... [He frowned in thought.] I'm guessing it wasn't like that when you were last home? Usually, with how this place works, if we were to go back, we go back to the same point in time. Yet, people can come from different points in time from the same world.
Maybe... and it sucks, but... maybe something happens later on that you haven't been through yet, but that later point is the only time the Agrii could grab it for you from? They have a weird sense of how to "help", so like... they might have been trying to do something nice for you and didn't think about how it might actually be more frustrating than anything else.
[He breathes in deep, irritation on his face as he looks over the car.]
So yeah, this isn't a 'later' thing. This is 'you weren't in the driver's seat of your head before you die' thing. So the aliens brought me and it here before death. Great. Fun. It gives me something to do at least I guess. Because this isn't an overnight fix for sure.
Re: [video]
I'm sorry. [He was, really. He'd never been through it firsthand, but, even without Shiro actually telling him how it felt, Keith had a feeling it hadn't been pleasant. Though, also, Keith wasn't even exactly sure how much of that whole ordeal Shiro even remembered... it had been easier to ignore it at first because they'd still been dealing with the remnants of the Galra Empire.]
I um... I haven't used the Engineering datapoint here, but, I've worked on some stuff back home. A pilot's no good if he can't take care of his own machine. [Hunk was a much better mechanic and engineer than Keith was any day, honestly.] But, if you need help... let me know. [While a 70-something Firebird wasn't a modern hoverbike, Keith was pretty sure he could at least use a wrench...]
