Tips for survival are as follows. They're afraid of fire and it hurts them a LOT. Keep your back to things because you can't trust them not to come up behind you. DO NOT BLEED. Try to hide together in groups. And if you can fight, well, guess we need to brief you on what's going on. So check the fuck in because this is a Code Red.

Well, that's because... Henry Creel has powers. Mind reading, control, telekinesis, possession. He's really bad, and these things may have just been animals before he got there.

I don't know. I don't think he CREATED them. Nancy said something about 'finding' them.

They're native to the other side of the gates. But another mind is driving them here. Our world isn't suitable or something.

That would be the point, I think. These storms are never meant to be pleasant, but it seems they have evolved much from the standard that we have otherwise heard of.

Providing fire would not normally be an issue. I will have to find a way to improvise.
