[The video comes on and the whole thing will be prone to shifting and moving. Probably being held up by Mini. Which makes sense because there's Reeve, sitting in a chair with a small table in front of him at what must clearly be one of the first floor rooms of the Civics Center. And the sitting makes sense because it's clear that one of his ankles is wrapped up and braced to imply an injury. Apparently he was still recovering from his sprain.]

Good day all. Forgive the video shaking as it does, Mini is doing his best but it is not always in his nature to be still.

Is nae all mah fault, Reeve. Cannae help bein' wha ah am.

[Reeve rolls his eyes and continues on.]

I am not certain how many of us have experience with disaster recovery and rebuilding, but I imagine it is a non-zero number beyond myself. And unfortunately there has been a lot of damage to the city. In the state I am in I am unfortunately unable to do what I would normally do after this sort of circumstance, which is evaluate damages, note priority repairs, and assist with rebuilding.

However I feel that it would be valuable for us all if we were aware of what needs done and who could use assistance in those ends. Normally I'd direct anyone to come by my building to consult on needs and what skills or supplies they can offer help with, but alas, my home was one of those more directly impacted. Because of course.

[He sighs and shakes his head.]

What matters now is that we're all here to help each other, and part of that is understanding what needs done and what we can reasonably expect to accomplish before winter comes. So please, I would ask that anyone who sees a problem or damage either message me with details so I can put together a list, or come by the Civics Center where I'll be temporarily staying so that I can write it down and help plan.

For those curious, I have previously laid in an ample supply of wood I meant for other projects but will be glad to help turn into boards and beams for repairs. There is also the bricks I was working to put together a while back that will be available.

So let's do our best to come together and make sure we can be the most comfortable we can manage.

[Mini turns the camera to face himself.]

Ah need ta bribe someone ta help. Cannae go far on mah own and Reeve cannae walk right. Anyone willing ta be a runner fur things like food?

[Richie is laughing as he turns off his video. It's about forty minutes later that he arrives with water and a small bag filled with food.]

Special delivery for a special work-a-holic! Mini, come on and give me the report: was Reeve good or am I gonna have to issue more threats and punishments? I have some creative ideas...

[And by the time he arrives Reeve's clearly working on something at his table, but he looks up with a fond smile when Richie appears. Mini, who is perched on a chair near Reeve's and working on the communication device, offers a nod.]

Aye, good enough.

Such glowing reviews, my little friend. But if you really wish to punish me, Richie...

[Reeve smiles suggestively at the man and Mini throws up his arms.]

Always tha same with ya two!

[Richie laughs and crosses over to hand off the provisions. He pecks a kiss to the top of Reeve's head.]

I don't know how much fun I'll have when you're already injured. But I did say I was creative...

[He plucks the communication device up from where Reeve is working and hides it behind his back. ]

Eat. Drink. You'll get it back.

[Well that's a bit of kindness and affection that Reeve hadn't been expecting. But it makes him smile.]

You really are creative, and I welcome it. And don't worry, I can multi-task.

[Mini had already taken his comm after all. Mini was the one who had been using it. Reeve takes the food and munches as he makes notes on paper.]

[ Richie pulls a chair over and sits on it backwards. ]

How's the injury treating you? I half thought you'd just amputate and stick a peg on it so you could get moving faster. I'm impressed we haven't gotten to that point.

It's progressing slowly. But pegs would be horrible back home. A lot of stairs are metal grates. I would hate to get stuck.

[And he knew he'd recover.]

Wow. So not exactly handicap accessible. You should really work on that shit when you get back. Even people with peg legs need to get around.

[He leans over to steal a bit of the food for himself. He's a growing boy! Sideways, but whatever. ]

We don't do peg legs. We have better prosthetics than that, Richie.

[He does let go of the work at last to look at his friend. To smile.]

I'm sorry you can't come over and visit me as much now.

Eh. It's fine, man. You've got a lot on your plate. As long as I can make sure you're eating and staying hydrated, I figure I'm being a good friend.

[He leans over to look at the work. ]

What's on the agenda right now?

[Reeve understands that. And he's actually a bit happy to hear Richie still cares.]

Information management, my friend. And thank you for your support. I always feel a bit better when you're there looking after me.That might be the greatest benefit you offer me.

THAT is the greatest benefit? I need to work on my game then... [ He waggles his eyebrows at Reeve even though his cheeks are a little pink. Compliments don't usually flow his way. ]

Seriously though, it's nothing, man.

Richie, at the moment? That is the greatest value. We're hardly going to get up to things if I'm injured like this.

[He can't properly take care of the man otherwise.]

It's something. You put yourself at risk for me. That matters. Especially to me.

[ Richie doesn't look serious very often, but he is right now. ]

I've... Yeah. I've lost a lot of people I cared about over the years. Too many. I'm not gonna let that happen again if I can help it. I'd rather us both eat it than walk away safe but alone.

Never again.

[Oh Richie. Reeve touches the man's leg, hoping that is some measure of comfort to him.]

I hope you shall not need to lose me in such a fashion, my friend.

[Richie reaches down and takes Reeve's hand in his own to give it a reassuring squeeze.]

You make me lose you like that and I'm gonna find some way to resurrect you just so I can kill you myself, pal. Got it?

[Except for Sephiroth. But Reeve isn't Sephiroth.]

It's all really, very selfish. You're good in bed and pretty hot. Also your friend over there is sassy and fun.

[He snatches another piece of food to chomp on behind his wide smile. He gives Reeve a wink. ]

[Reeve blushes to have things put out that straight forward by Richie. Mini, of course, covers his ears like he can avoid their conversation like that. Such a supportive keeper, that one.]

Of course I would do the same for you. Except for the statements like that when you're injured. Because I would hate to tease and leave you unsatisfied.

[ Richie smirks and leans in to peck one of those red cheeks. ]

I don't have to leave you unsatisfied. Time for a longer break, darling?

[That blush deepens and Mini actually rolls his eyes.]

[ Richie leers with a wild smile and bends in to kiss against his neck. Mostly teasing, Mini. Don't freak out. ]

[There are so many benefits to being a friend. Reeve laughs and slowly pushes to his feet.]

[ Richie almost immediately moves over to Reeve's side to be there in case he starts teetering over. Other than staying close though, he doesn't touch. ]

Luxury accommodations? I require silk sheets for my tender skin.
