[The video comes on and the whole thing will be prone to shifting and moving. Probably being held up by Mini. Which makes sense because there's Reeve, sitting in a chair with a small table in front of him at what must clearly be one of the first floor rooms of the Civics Center. And the sitting makes sense because it's clear that one of his ankles is wrapped up and braced to imply an injury. Apparently he was still recovering from his sprain.]

Good day all. Forgive the video shaking as it does, Mini is doing his best but it is not always in his nature to be still.

Is nae all mah fault, Reeve. Cannae help bein' wha ah am.

[Reeve rolls his eyes and continues on.]

I am not certain how many of us have experience with disaster recovery and rebuilding, but I imagine it is a non-zero number beyond myself. And unfortunately there has been a lot of damage to the city. In the state I am in I am unfortunately unable to do what I would normally do after this sort of circumstance, which is evaluate damages, note priority repairs, and assist with rebuilding.

However I feel that it would be valuable for us all if we were aware of what needs done and who could use assistance in those ends. Normally I'd direct anyone to come by my building to consult on needs and what skills or supplies they can offer help with, but alas, my home was one of those more directly impacted. Because of course.

[He sighs and shakes his head.]

What matters now is that we're all here to help each other, and part of that is understanding what needs done and what we can reasonably expect to accomplish before winter comes. So please, I would ask that anyone who sees a problem or damage either message me with details so I can put together a list, or come by the Civics Center where I'll be temporarily staying so that I can write it down and help plan.

For those curious, I have previously laid in an ample supply of wood I meant for other projects but will be glad to help turn into boards and beams for repairs. There is also the bricks I was working to put together a while back that will be available.

So let's do our best to come together and make sure we can be the most comfortable we can manage.

Ah need ta bribe someone ta help. Cannae go far on mah own and Reeve cannae walk right. Anyone willing ta be a runner fur things like food?

[ Richie almost immediately moves over to Reeve's side to be there in case he starts teetering over. Other than staying close though, he doesn't touch. ]

Luxury accommodations? I require silk sheets for my tender skin.

"Brave of you to assume I'd ever bother to replicate silk," he says with a laugh. "I'm not even sure if they're cotton."

"Ehhh... I don't know, man. Not even cotton? You might not value comfort but I'm a classy gal."

Richie grins at Reeve and nudges their shoulders together. "If I get to your room and see just a slab made of splintered wood, I am gonna be pissed."

"It take what the machine gives Mini," Reeve says with a shrug. BUt he does rise slowly to his feet.

"It's not just a slab. I'm not an idiot."

"Not an idiot, no. But you are pretty dismissive of your body and whatever it needs." Richie crosses his arms over his chest. "I imagine if you could get away with it you'd eat once a day and sleep standing up."

"Yes, that sounds like an accurate statement," Reeve laughs. "And I don't TRY to get away with it. I just forget."

ANd that's rather impressive in his own way.

Richie sidles up behind Reeve and wraps his arms around his middle half to give him a hug and half to punish him with a tight squeeze.

"Gosh. If only there was some way to work around that. Some sort of...I don't know. Alarm...or assistant...shaped like a cat... Who could maybe remind you to eat, if you listen to them..."

"You're almost as bad as York and Mini," Reeve laughs. "And you know you are. You know you're going to be frustrating like he is."

"Yeah, yeah. We're all so frustrating, keeping your ass alive." Richie gives it a light pinch before going back into the hold and resting his chin against Reeve's shoulder. "You can hate us all you want as long as you eat a sandwich and drink water once a day. Fair trade."

"Only once?" he asks with a smile. He'll definitely so his best to edge around this. Just for the flirtatious fun.

"How about this: the amount of sandwiches and glasses of water you have a day will match the amount of attention I give you other places..."

He kisses Reeve's neck softly before giving his jaw a light bite. "I can make a scale. Real scientific..."

Reeve laughs, both from the offer and from the bite. Why would that ever be a thing?
