The best thing about this new relationship is the mornings. Well, alright, all of it is pretty good but the mornings are definitely Steve's favorite. He'd never had the opportunity to regularly wake up next to someone and now he is spoiled with it. Sometimes he wakes up with a mop of hair in his mouth. Sometimes he's got Eddie hanging off the bed as he spent the night restlessly pushing him. And sometimes, like this morning, he wakes up in Eddie's arms, warm and secure. Steve nuzzles his face into Eddie's chest, enjoying a slow, leisurely waking process. Part of him just wants to go back to sleep entirely. But no, he can't.

They have plans.

"Babe," he hums, shifting to kiss against Eddie's neck. They'd planned today to be THE DAY. Their date: Eddie's first and Steve's millionth but definitely first with a guy. Honestly, he was probably more excited than Eddie was for the whole thing.

Steve reaches over for the die he'd created and the little notebook he'd scribbled his plans into. The die is plopped on the pillow next to Eddie's head and Steve goes back to the light pecks along that pale neck.

"Babe, it's time," he singsongs between kisses. "Rise and shine. It's time for me to be the best date you've ever had!

"Mmmph-" Eddie grumbles, torn between very much not being a morning person and his desire to be awake enough to appreciate those kisses. He sleepily lifts a hand to pet through Steve's hair, finding the energy to blink blearily at him and whine.

"How are you so awake?" he laughs, that groggy pout replaced with a smile as he shifts to steal a proper kiss. "Pretty easy competition," he teases.

Not a morning person, but Steve knew that by now. He happily allows the petting and the kiss before flopping onto Eddie's chest. He's still grinning fit to burst. "Are you kidding? Do you have any idea how high a bar I set for myself? I'm competing against myself from this point on. And I already pulled out the nerd card."

He kisses the tip of Eddie's nose before giving it a light poke. "Up and at 'em. Or I start singing WHAM."

"You might have screwed yourself," he agrees with a teasing smirk.

That threat earns a mischievous smile, Eddie thinking maybe he kind of wants to see that, but after a short moment he sits them up.

"I'm up, I'm up. You're officially free to woo me, Steve Harrington."

Steve sits back on the bed and puts the die from the pillow between them. "Okay! First roll of fate! What is your wake up gonna be? I mean, outside of what I just did. Kind of." He flaps his hand to dismiss it all.

"Forget that. This is the official wake up for the date. First activity." He grins playfully. "But don't worry, even a 1 is gonna get you another kiss. You have a very biased Dungeon Dude."

Arching a brow, Eddie grins at Steve's flustered backtracking.

"Dungeon Dude, huh?" he repeats with a laugh, and he takes the die, curious as to just what Steve has planned out for them. Even this is more than he ever could have expected out of a first date. And far cuter than anything he ever thought he'd be into.

"Oh wow, you weren't kidding," Eddie laughs, rolling the d20 and getting a 19 right off the bat.

Nineteen. Just like he wanted it to be. Steve beams and crawls over the space between them so he can kiss Eddie nice and firm. He all but climbs into Eddie's lap as his hands go into his hair and deepens the kiss immediately. "You..." he purrs as he pulls back a second to breathe. "Are so beautiful, Eddie Munson."

He kisses him again, trailing them down from jaw to neck.

"So...smart. So funny. You are so amazing." He walks his lips back to Eddie's and kisses him again, lighter but still so loving and passionate.

"And I am so...so excited to go on this date with you."

Well shit. Hands catching at Steve's waist, Eddie's brows arch, happily melting into that kiss and returning his own.

The praise makes him smile, cheeks pink, but a pleased look on his face as he drinks it in, chuckling at some of the words in disbelief.

"...Jesus Steve, what would 20 have got me?" he teases breathlessly.

"Blowjob," he says neutrally. "Maybe next time."

He pats Eddie's cheek and slips off the bed. Under it is a box he'd slipped there yesterday morning when Eddie was still mostly unconscious. "Roll again," he says with an overly innocent smile. "This gets to decide what we're wearing. I have a feeling a 20 for you is a 1 for me and vice visa."

Trust the rich boy to mistake a credit card instead of 'versa'.

"Shit- and you're getting so good at those," he laughs, grinning as Steve slips off the bed.

Snickering, Eddie doesn't correct him, just smiles fondly and takes the dice. "I got...a 20. Is the one roll for both of us, or do I need to do another?"

Okay, now he is starting to regret making the dice so awesome. Of course he would get a twenty now. Groaning, Steve opens the box and there is a whole bunch of shit in there. Clothes from Richie with all the loud patterns and the handful of band shirts, something that looks like it might be a dress, Steve's yellow sweater, and other borrowed stuff. At the top though is what he's most excited about.

Richie's had it since he arrived and when Steve had discussed briefly the plan for Eddie (his favorite person, apparently, outside of York), he'd donated it immediately. His leather coat.

"This is for you for the day. And the rest of this shit...is also for you. You get to pick what we both wear. Whatever you decide, I won't complain."

Ooh. Eddie recognizes a lot of what's in there, grinning and he peeks over the edge of the bed.

His eyes drift pointedly over Steve with a smirk, wondering how mean to be to him considering all the lovely work he'd put into this date.

"Whatever I decide, mm?" he repeats with a dangerous smirk.

Ultimately, he's more or else kind. He dresses himself in something not too dissimilar to his usual clothes, happily picking out one of the band shirts and the coveted leather coat (though he'll likely ditch it once the heat forces him to). He does debate over that yellow sweater of Steve's, but ultimately sets it aside to steal on a colder day.

For Steve...another band shirt, though he holds up one of the brightly patterned shirts along with it. "I wanna see you it in, but you can wear the other one."

Steve figures it could have been worse. And it is a Nat 20 or whatever the fuck it's called so he rolls his eyes and grabs the loud shirt. Pulling it on, he immediately re-fluffs his hair and spreads his arms in a 'ta-da' pose. It's Richie's so it is a little baggy on him but not too bad.

Jesus. For a guy who hates clowns he sure dresses like one.

"Everything you dreamed of and more?"

Eddie giggles, looking him up and down and pretending to make a show of ogling him.

"I want you so bad right now, Steve," he teases.

Steve grins and reaches for Eddie. He snags his belt loop and drags him in close.

"Yeah, yeah. But you and I both know you're not lying, baby." He kisses him soft on the lips. "I'm irresistible in a potato sack."

He grins, and god if that sappiness isn't a little bit contagious. He returns the kiss with a low hum of appreciation, arms falling round him.

"Little more out of it," he adds with a smirk.

"Well you better keep rolling high then, hm?"

He pulls back reluctantly so he can change his shirt into the real one he's wearing. It looks nice, honestly. He doesn't know the band at all but Eddie can probably tell him all about them.

"Fit right in at a concert now, right?"

"I'll do my best," he promises with a laugh.

He steals a few glances as he changes as well, not looking terribly different from his usual attire.

Eddie laughs, "Depends which concert," he allows, "There's a few you wouldn't stand out in."

"Corroded Coffin?" Steve is pretty sure he knows the answer to that one already. "What would you have done if you'd seen me in the audience one night? Before all this shit went down?"

Well, considering their audience is made up of a few drunks who couldn't care less who was on stage...Steve'd be almost over dressed. Eddie smiles and kisses him.

"...I'd figure you were on a really shitty date and been kicked out of every other bar but the Hideout."

"That...probably would have been the case," he admits with a laugh. "But at least after whatever happened to kick me out of all those places, I would see the babe up on stage playing the guitar..."

He pecks Eddie's nose.

"And as you to introduce me to him. Jeff, right?" he teases.

"Mmmmm," Eddie gives a pleased hum, and has just started to pull Steve close when he goes and pulls that line.

"You are the worst," he laughs, pushing Steve back down onto the bed and falling with him to deliver a kiss as he tries to find those ticklish spots as punishment. "Jeff huh?"

Steve cackles as Eddie tickles him. He tries to catch Eddie's wrists and stop the assault. "Oooh. Someone is jealous. Does the band know you can't share the spotlight, babe?" He giggles and finally goes for Eddie's stomach as well.

"No wonder you need all the flattery..."

"No no na-" Eddie laughs and squirms, trying to pull his wrists free.

"Heh- ff- of course they know-" he manages, all smiles.

Steve slides his hands into Eddie's from his wrists and just holds them both tight. There. Both of them incapacitated. "You're lucky you're so fucking cute."

Steve kisses him, unable to resist it. "Jeff's got nothing on you."

"Mmm," Eddie gives a happy purr, "Jeff's all right, but I'm all yours."

But- they're never going to get out the door if they spend all morning being stupid adorable in bed, and Steve seems to have a lot planned. "Here-" He pulls free to un snap his bracelet and snap it round Steve's wrist instead, "You need a little something to pull it together."
