[ There's a bit of silence that drags on for a few seconds before the voice of a tired young woman comes on. ]

Hi. I'm...[ she pauses, almost like she's realized that her voice might just sound a bit too tired and a bit too distant for comfort. The tired part she can cover up (she's more than used to that back home with the responsibilities of the school) the distant though, that's going to be harder to mask. She clears her throat and tries to put some more confidence into her voice. For the most part it succeeds. ] I'm Jean. Jean Grey. I don't think that'll mean much to most of you, but I figure I might as well formally introduce myself. We're all stuck here, so might as well get to know each other, right? That's uh, mostly what I was interested in. [ Isn't it what most telepaths are interested in? Better to not mention that part, it was always hard to tell how someone would react to a telepath. Even other mutants got weird with it. ]

Just...getting to know people here and, if anyone's willing to share, what their experiences here have been like so far. Thanks in advance I guess for anyone that's willing to share. [ Yeah, that was a bit awkward so she just ends things here ]
