WHERE: Near the Greenhouse
WHAT: Eli is working to repair a building to turn it into a kitchen soup place.
WHEN: Current and after the kitchen has been opened

Repairing the Building:
Since the initial response, Eli had been busy working on repairing a building to put together what was dubbed a kitchen soup place. He found the perfect building that would be sufficient for the task. He would live in the back of it and the front would be set up for pick up to pick up their meals or to eat. He could also use the second level for storage or a place to do other work in.
It wasn't a simple task repairing an old run down building. They didn't have a lot of the equipment needed to do the tasks properly. He also didn't have a lot of experience in this kind of work. He was determined to make it work and thankfully with some help they were able to get the place habitual.
The next task was working on stocking up everything they needed and storing it. He found ways to also record what was stored, being used, and information on the items. Eli realized that there will still be possible mistakes and room to fix things. He was glad to see at least everything moving in the direction it should.
Open for Business:
A few weeks later Eli had the place open and running. He had the placed stocked up with food. As he repaired the building he had also learned ways to help preserve the food and store it. When Eli wasn't busy prepping and cooking, he took time to interact with anyone that stopped in. He loved the idea of being able to get to know people this way. Food was always a good source to connect with people. He even made sure there was food for the various pets that people had with them. He didn't want to leave anyone behind. Overall, Eli was just happy to be helping people and to be keeping busy.
