So I have a favor to ask: would someone be willing to give me cooking lessons? My teammates say that I am a hazard in the kitchen and I'd like... to be less of one. Or at least trusted to make something more than sandwiches.

I would appreciate any help at all. And I'm sure everyone would appreciate it if I don't set kitchens on fire.

Nothing in particular, but I would like to maybe make something for them. Since we had what would be the equivalent of Thanksgiving, next would be Christmas.

I will say, you don't want to go stag to one of these holiday parties, really brings the mood down. Tell you what, I'll plan the menu and you rustle up a guest list, let me know who you're taking, you know, in case of allergens and.

Unfortunately, in my world it is. Teammates is more understandable to others than "paladins" which is what they are actually called.

I don't know that I have ever had a problem with going stag. [Except that he was a buzz kill that one time...] I appreciate that. I'll have to talk to everyone and get everything arranged.

Would that I could offer lessons. I’m not nearly so good at improvising with what we have here into recipes I know. All I can do reliably is coffee and tea and warming up soups. All the luck to you, though.

Yeah, that's the other hard part about this place. Options here are more limited than home. That's about what I can do. Haven't burned water or cause soup to explode yet. Thanks.

That was one time and not anything to do with cooking. Besides, it hasn't happened since. But... thanks for the rest of it.
