While his expression doesn't really betray anything, his body language suggests exhaustion, slumped as he is. When he speaks up, his tone sounds a little hollower than usual.]

[With effort he draws himself up in a brief but failed attempt to sit straighter. That burning gaze of his turns towards some point off-screen before he lowers his head with something of a sigh.]
