[ Hello, network. Have you met Bruno yet? No? Then you're in luck, because someone helped him figure out how to use a smart phone. Which can only go well.

Bruno is standing proudly among a gathering of containers filled with- Maybe paint? There's also a rather beat-up metal bucket containing an unholy amount of that glitter you all have grown so fond of. And in his hand, while presenting all this, he holds a bunch of obviously used brushes. Still, he looks very pleased with himself. ]

Okay. I got the paint. I got brushes! I KNOW a few of you wanted to help painting the hotel, so this is your chance! Look, I even got plenty of the sparkling stuff!

[ He spins around to cheerfully present THE GLITTER. ]

[Lark is up in her work room when the communicator pings to advise her that there is a new community video message started. As she often does she taps into it, keeping her video off and microphone muted so she could just be aware of what is going on.

It's not until the man spins that Lark has to react. She joins the conversation fully and tilts the comm up against a spool so it's there while she's spinning her thread.]

There has been talk of painting the hotel?

[ Oh, hello unfamiliar person. Please excuse the moment of surprised silence while Bruno realizes he has been speaking to more people than he has intended to. ]

Uh... I- I mean... Have you been in the hotel? It's not a very friendly place.

I live here, my dear. Myself and my dog. Third floor, rooms seven and eight. One for my workspace, one for my residence.

[Her fingers stay busy, just barely on screen, with spinning thread.]

I thought most of the painting focus was upon the Civics Center.

[ Bruno points up. ]

Tenth floor.

So... I'm sure you agree that this place could use some more color. Make it less depressing and all.

Of course this place could use more color. A lot more green actually.

Green? Oh, we have green. But we also have yellow. And red. Even blue! And sparkles!

[That's a lot of colros. Though the sparkles makes her frown. She would pass on that.]

That's a lot of plants you would have had to gather for all of that.

[Painting? Here? Real painting with real paint and brushes? Steve is running as fast as he can the minute he sees the message.

Oh. And meeting someone new is good, too.

He's out of breath and huffing on his inhaler by the time he gets to the hotel, but he's beaming.]

Painting! Swell! What is the plan? Murals? Do we need to sketch something before we put it up?

Oh, I'm Steve by the way, sorry! Steve Rogers. [He reaches his hand out for a shake.] I used to love painting, back where I'm from. I'm keen to lend a hand however you need.

[ He gives a cheerful wave. ]

There will be at least one mural! Of a dragon Lerith drew. He's very talented! Do you draw as well? There are many walls here and you're welcome to join.

A dragon! Hey, that is a keen idea! Maybe I can make some fantasy stuff for the background. Or maybe on another wall do some spaceships like I used to read in books.

[He looks around at the walls appraisingly, already eager.]

I used to do some art for work back in New York. Nothin' too major. Sign here. Ad there. This will be real somethin'... What are you gonna do?

Hey, that sounds great! I'd love to see your art. Most things I ever painted were scene backgrounds for my theater. Also designed some costumes, I suppose, but- Yes. As I said. Please feel free to join!

[ Did he mention these were costumes for rats? No? Whoops. ]

Your theater? You were a performer? That's amazing! What sort of plays did you perform? Were you on stage or a stagehand?

Ah, y'know... Probably more of a producer, really. Or writer? Never really wrote anything down, though. Needed to keep the plot going.

_{[Lerith is heading back towards the hotel when he gets the ping message. Eyes going wide at that, he grins and quickly types his reply - as quickly as he can anyways.]}

paint! what colors did you get? are we doing it today or starting a different day? do you need help moving anytihing?

We can start whenever. Or do you have plans? I don't have any plans. I'm here.

[ He does turn the camera to the assortment of colors he has gathered. These were made from local fauna and therefore are more natural shades of red, yellow, green, blue and purple. ]

Someone already made these. Must be possible to make more. Because we will need more!

no i don't have plans. even if i did i wuould just postpone them to paint. been excited to do it! i'm almost to the hotel. maybe we can ask somsone on the network if they know how to make more? or even more colors!

<sub>[Those yellow eyes look over the various colors with excitement as he heads into the building. He's wearing the sweater he got from Lark despite the warmer temperature, and there's easily readable joy.

[ Bruno is still reading the message when Lerith arrives and looks up from his phone with a wide grin, opening his arms in a mixture of greeting and presentation of his gathered materials. ]

There you are!

[ He steps forward, brushes in hand and spins around his own axis in something approaching the center of the room. ]

I dunno where we start. Pick a wall. There's enough of them! But for your dragon-

[ And he stops spinning to point the brushes at a large grey wall right next to the reception. ]

This feels perfect!

'there is no need to rush either. the hotel shouldn't be going anywhere right?'

_{[He grins at Bruno, especially when the man spins with those brushes in hand. Yellow eyes light up at the idea of drawing his dragon on the appointed wall.]}

yes! it is big enough! the dragon should be green. maybe it'll be nicer than the one that burned haven. that one was red. or maybe black. so not those two. except if you make him breathe fire.

_{[Lerith looks away from the wall and to Bruno, clearly excited.]}

what do you want to draw?

[ Bruno turns back to Lerith, grinning. ]

And I spoke with this kid, Steve Rogers, who said he would love to help paint a nice background for it!

[ At the question, he gives a small, shrug. ]

I don't know yet. Buuut-

[ He gestures towards a more narrow piece of wall right next to the stairs ]

Maybe I'll start there. I can imagine.... Plants. And flowers. Going up the stairs.

Oh, not all of it will glitter. Some of it, yes. Bring some color and shine to the place!

This place could definitely use some colour. Are you matching the glitter to the paint colour? Or are you mixing things up?

[ Bruno picks up the bucket filled with red, white, pink and purple glitter. Which is literally the same glitter the snow turned into. ]

Weeell... We have this. But- It'll work nicely with the paint we have.

That looks like a lot. How many buildings are you looking to paint?

How many? I, uh- I don't know. Haven't thought about that. Not sure how far we'll be getting here with the paint we have. Will need to make more...
