[ Hello, network. Have you met Bruno yet? No? Then you're in luck, because someone helped him figure out how to use a smart phone. Which can only go well.
Bruno is standing proudly among a gathering of containers filled with- Maybe paint? There's also a rather beat-up metal bucket containing an unholy amount of that glitter you all have grown so fond of. And in his hand, while presenting all this, he holds a bunch of obviously used brushes. Still, he looks very pleased with himself. ]
Okay. I got the paint. I got brushes! I KNOW a few of you wanted to help painting the hotel, so this is your chance! Look, I even got plenty of the sparkling stuff!
[ He spins around to cheerfully present THE GLITTER. ]

[ He does turn the camera to the assortment of colors he has gathered. These were made from local fauna and therefore are more natural shades of red, yellow, green, blue and purple. ]
Someone already made these. Must be possible to make more. Because we will need more!
Eventually...

[Those yellow eyes look over the various colors with excitement as he heads into the building. He's wearing the sweater he got from Lark despite the warmer temperature, and there's easily readable joy.
The skittishness from their first meeting is gone in the wake of the containers filled with the color - and the one filled with all of that glitter.]
'what did you want to paint first?'
Action
There you are!
[ He steps forward, brushes in hand and spins around his own axis in something approaching the center of the room. ]
I dunno where we start. Pick a wall. There's enough of them! But for your dragon-
[ And he stops spinning to point the brushes at a large grey wall right next to the reception. ]
This feels perfect!

[He grins at Bruno, especially when the man spins with those brushes in hand. Yellow eyes light up at the idea of drawing his dragon on the appointed wall.]
yes! it is big enough! the dragon should be green. maybe it'll be nicer than the one that burned haven. that one was red. or maybe black. so not those two. except if you make him breathe fire.
[Lerith looks away from the wall and to Bruno, clearly excited.]
what do you want to draw?

And I spoke with this kid, Steve Rogers, who said he would love to help paint a nice background for it!
[ At the question, he gives a small, shrug. ]
I don't know yet. Buuut-
[ He gestures towards a more narrow piece of wall right next to the stairs ]
Maybe I'll start there. I can imagine.... Plants. And flowers. Going up the stairs.

i musthave just missed him.
[He looks over the space with Bruno and nods.]
why don't we paint together? we can pait this wall here, then maybe everyone that wants to paint can paint the dragon together?
no subject
Come on. Let's just start somewhere. We will see what we feel like painting while we do it. That's how I liked to work on the scenes for my theater back home.
no subject
He goes over to the narrow wall and sits, intending to paint with Bruno in his spot. The elf wanted to paint flowers!]
what is theatre? sounds importnant
no subject
Hmmm~ A theater... It's a stage. Where actors perform a play. They tell a story by acting it out.
[ He explains and quickly grabs a few more colors before pushing a nearby stool close and sitting down before offering a thin plate of wood to Lerith to use as a palette. He gives the elf a wide, cheerfully proud grin along with it. ]
The plot of my telenovela has been going strong for years!
no subject
He takes the plate and crosses his legs to get comfortable and close to the wall.]
'i have heard of the stage adn preforming. never seen it though. i wasnt allowed out of the villa in tevinter and haven didnt have a stage since it was a refuge for people.'
[A pause as he starts to work on painting, a bright smile on his face until Bruno says a mysterious word.]
'tell a novel a? tell a novel a what? a story?'
no subject
[ Bruno nods and uses his brush and some green paint to write the word on the wall in front of him, then adds a smiling face underneath. It'll be fine. The paint's fresh and he can turn it into a set of leaves. ]
I admittedly don't know where it comes from, but- Yes. It's a story. Or several stories that tie together into a masterpiece!
no subject
lots of stories done on a stage? adn it is ongoing? that sounds strange but really interesting. i want to see one someimte. do you think there could be a telenovela here?
[He starts painting, but with less confidence than his friend. He didn't want to mess up anything Bruno wanted to do, so he made what he was thinking could be grass where the wall met the floor to start.]
no subject
[ Bruno considers the question while working on a couple of large green leaves. ]
Maybe? I mean, I'd need to make a new setup and... Hm.
[ His rats. Those aren't with him in this place. Which may be better for them, all things considered. Bruno's tone becomes a little more pensive, though. ]
Maybe. Wouldn't mind telling María's story. We haven't heard of her since she left her family after finding out About her mother and Pablo but it has been hinted at that she may encounter Carmen.
[ Is he rambling? Maybe. A little. He misses his telenovelas... ]
no subject
'oh? what did maria find out about her mother and pablow? this sounds like a good story.'
[Gently his elbow comes up to give Bruno a barely there bump - so he didn't disrupt the painting - and gives an encouraging smile to him.]
'i will listen to all of your telenovelas!'
no subject
Thanks, Lerith. You'd enjoy them!
I mean, I couldn't be spoiling the upcoming plot, of course, but María... Well. Pablo was betraying her with her mother and there was fighting and ugly words and tears and- She left. Wise decision, if you ask me. She hasn't been happy for too long and chances are good that she'll finally find happiness.
no subject
'this is a good story. a good telenovela. sounds like something you would hear about from orlais back home. you must be a verry good story teller where you are from.'
no subject
You really think so? Thanks! I never really shared any of my own stories. Wanted to, but- Y'know. Never really got the opportunity.
no subject
'no opportunity? was there too much going on where you are from?'
no subject
[ Bruno lets out a sigh. ]
There is... Always lots to do. Everyone has their chores.
no subject
But he doesn't push. Friends don't push for things like that. People tell things when they're ready.
Instead, Lerith gets a small dab of paint onto his fingertip and reaches up to push the green coloring against Bruno's cheek. He pushes his almost-frown into a smirk.]
'no chores here, only paint!'
