WHO: Viktor and you?
WHERE: Newly arrived at the fountain
WHAT: This doesn't look like Piltover
WHEN: Now (early April)
WARNINGS: None anticipaed
The sun was setting, casting the council chambers in a red glow. Viktor said nothing about it but as Jayce continued he couldn't help the feeling that there was something perverse in the making of the Kingdom of Zon. It was fueled by a drug kingpin (a drug you made use of his conscience mocked him internally) who had made a lot of money selling misery. Though, in his opinion, it could have been easily the same had it been the wealthier part of Piltover that was targeted. Having power was a human desire regardless of wealth.
Viktor didn't remember going to sleep, but that wasn't a surprise. He rarely remembered it if he had passed out at his desk. But he would have remembered it if he fell asleep anywhere that was outside? It was cool but not cold and he could hear a fountain burbling nearby. He came to with his crutch next to him and after sitting up and looking around for a moment he used it to lever himself to his feet. He saw no one else at first, but he did see the light floating next to the fountain. He watched it for a moment, charmed by its appearance. Then he reached out one hand to tentatively touch it. As soon as his fingers made contact, his brain was flooded with information. Startled, Viktor clutched his forehead for a moment feeling woozy from the influx of data. Agra-10. The Agri. Rebuilding a society. There was something about that last part that struck Viktor as particularly odd. Then again he did not have very good experience with society.

Someone else was there now. Touching that same datapoint like he had. 'Well he handled it as well as a human could,' the android thought as he went over. No one else was around, might as well in for the 'welcoming committee' or whatever it was called. "Another new sack of skin for the decrepit city I see."
A glance down at the crutch with teal eyes. Didn't remark on it. "Gonna go out on a limb and say you're not from 2038 Detroit either."
no subject
"I don't even know where Detroit is supposed to be."
This should probably answer both the question of whether he was from Detroit or if he was from Earth at all. His voice sounded like it had a slight German accent but everything he said was perfectly clear.
no subject
He sat on the fountain edge, with his system finding the perfect balance so he wouldn't fall in. York regarded the other newcomer with a sort of haughty look. The man's clothes looked weird to him, but the accent… slight as it was, maybe German? There was no telling with people here.
"Earth, 2038. Detroit, MI, United States of America, North America, Earth," he clarified. Ironically, he said this while wearing an NYC hoodie. "But that’s not where here is, much to my fucking dismay."
no subject
Viktor's clothes hung loosely on him, as was the case from any wasting disease, but still covered what might have been odd about the way he looked.
"I take it that is where you came from."
He had no idea it was an active combat zone and certainly had never met an Android.
no subject
"Where are you from then? I already know it's not from here, this five star rated shithole of a city."

A city in a cavern is how the lore started out in the early days lol
Oh that was a good guess on my part; I'm canonblind af!

The only sound that probably heralded his arrival was the snap and flutter of the ragged cloak he wore as it trailed after him, a silhouetted figure dropping down from the Civic Center. About three-fourths of the way down he gave himself another boost in midair, dramatically slowing his descent so he could land without breaking his legs, touching down neatly on the ground below.
no subject
"Do you do that without any assistance from technology?"
no subject
He grinned, finally looking over before arching a brow, although he supposed he wasn't totally surprised it was someone unfamiliar to him. The voice had been new, definitely.
no subject
"You...You are mechanical!"
Thank you captain obvious. But if Viktor was a fanboy for York as an Android then he was looking at Cayde with awe as if Cayde were wearing a halo and holding a fiery sword.
"H-how are...you are...when did..."
no subject
"Whoa there, deep breaths. You're new in town, obviously."

Terra was happy to help in this strange place of course and this task was just as important as any of the others he did. But just as he filled one of the buckets, he happened to look up and saw an unfamiliar person clutching at his head. His blue eyes noticed the data point and again looked at the person.
Halting his watering duties, he kept his distance for the moment. "Are you gonna be okay?"
no subject
"Ah yes."
The information that had just been downloaded directly into his brain supplied the reason for another person being here.
"... I take it that bewildered-looking strangers are a common occurrence here."
no subject
"It happens from time to time, and probably more often than I notice." He himself was one of those aforementioned bewildered looking strangers not too long ago. "But when people touch data points like you did, it takes a second to process the information being received, so that's normal."
As normal as normal got around here.

Again the information that had been downloaded straight to his brain provided an answer. Viktor was really not used to that happening.
"Nevermind. Do they all have the same effect of this first one?"
If so they were going to be a prolonged headache.
no subject
What that something else would be as of yet, he had no idea.
Terra shook his head. "Wish I could tell you it'd be different. But I take it you haven't found a place to stay?"

She immediately jumped down from one of the buildings closest to the fountain, gliding down with less concern for if anyone noticed than she probably should have. Then she headed towards the startled looking man. His expression reminded her of when she'd first arrived here or when her telepathy got super overwhelming.
"Just arrived I take it? If so, it's definitely kinda overwhelming."
no subject
"I…yes. I am having trouble visualizing how to recreate a society."
Or just how to create anything like a fair society period.
no subject
"Seems like a difficult thing to visualize let alone actually uh, pull off doing. Kinda feels like high expectations here."
no subject
Viktor seemed to hesitate for a moment.
"First I beg your pardon for mentioning it, but how are you able to float like that?"
Viktor gestured toward the roof that Jean had come from.

After Viktor pressed his palm to his head, the big guy took a step closer, noting the crutch and the young man's overall appearance. He didn't look well.
"It's a lot, right, touching the shiny ball, I mean. You good?"
no subject
"Yes, excuse me."
He opened his eyes to look at the person that had spoken... And then kept looking up with round eyes. It wasn't so much the person's size that Viktor was looking at, it was the fact he had a pair of horns. Viktor was standing a little straighter these days but he was still on the emaciated side, as anyone that had a wasting disease could also say.
"... I beg your pardon but somehow I didn't really realize how different the different types of worlds could be."
no subject
He'd been pretty disoriented himself, and he was pretty sure on his feet, unlike this new guy. He looked like he needed to eat a good meal or twenty, and he would, if the Bull had anything to say about it. A slight smile teased across his lips as he watched Viktor acclimate himself, and he crossed his around across his expansive chest.
"Go ahead, take it in." He chuckled, turning his head to the side to give Viktor a better angle. "It's an impressive rack, I know."
no subject
If so, he had never met a species of human that had horns. Horns which Viktor had managed to stop goggling at but he was still looking at them as bull showed them off.
no subject
"No. I'm Qunari. You humans are a lot smaller." He grinned. "And bendier. You can call me The Iron Bull."
