This is Commander Poe Dameron of the Republic fleet. I'm looking to speak to whoever's in charge here. I've got some pretty pressing issues to deal with back home, and uh...I really need to be getting back. Or at the very least if someone knows of a long range transmitter, or a ship, actually? A ship would be good.

...Or caf. Do you guys have caf here? Or maybe something stronger? That whole...glowy ball thing..., the data point- that happens to everyone, right? [He taps at his temple with a frown. He didn't particularly enjoy that experience.]

Welcome, Commander. I am afraid no one is in charge, though as you have probably gathered we do have ships. We have as yet been unable to break atmosphere with them, but they are designed for long-range space travel.

Communications are currently limited to the device you hold, and can be directed to other kidnapped parties or the Agrii. The tall building near the data point you accessed is a comms tower, but it is in poor repair and does not appear to be able to send and receive transmissions to other types of devices.

Seems strange that they'd give us ships and not let us fly them.

Comms tower, huh? I'm not the best engineer, but worth taking a look. If we can get a message out there then someone can come to us.

Indeed. While I do not know their ultimate goals, it is unlikely to be without purpose. Ships should be flown.

That would be a valid course of action. May I ask to whom you would send such a message? That is to say, which Republic are you a part of?
