This is Commander Poe Dameron of the Republic fleet. I'm looking to speak to whoever's in charge here. I've got some pretty pressing issues to deal with back home, and uh...I really need to be getting back. Or at the very least if someone knows of a long range transmitter, or a ship, actually? A ship would be good.

...Or caf. Do you guys have caf here? Or maybe something stronger? That whole...glowy ball thing..., the data point- that happens to everyone, right? [He taps at his temple with a frown. He didn't particularly enjoy that experience.]

[Bucky laughs softly.] Yeah, the terms are a little weird, but I guess it's better than the other option.

Still - it is a shitty way to start the day. We've got things mostly under control, but it ain't exactly high living around here.

I've had shittier. [Maker, how sad is that? But Poe smiles.] I grew up on a colony, I know my way around 'mostly under control'.

What kinda colony?

On Yavin 4. No one's lived there since the Massassi, and that was...thousands of years ago, apart from the time the Rebellion used it as their base. My parents started a colony there after the war.

Well, there's a lot. The world's mainly jungle. But the woolamanders are probably the loudest. You hear them all night with their mating calls.
