[Luke looks a little annoyed at something off screen before looking up to the camera.]
Prosthetic limbs. I'm sure I've seen an arm, and I know we've got some cybernetic residents. Do we have something set up for those of us with them, like, repairs, maintenance, charging if need be? Mine was damaged before I got here and I didn't get a chance to get the synth skin repaired, which is just vaguely awkward, because it means crap can get in and it's harder to clean out.
[He huffs and blows his fringe from his eyes.]
Yeah. Just looking for connect with the others who have a similar situation. Talk solutions.

Oh.
I didn't know that.
[ He doesn't clarify what he didn't know. ]
I can keep it working mechanically. Probably. But I haven't had it that long and adjusting is weird? And like, normal skin will heal after an injury, you just keep it covered until it gets there. Synthskin isn't like that. Every bit of damage is for good.

The main damage is the synthskin. The hand plate is dented, but it's superficial.

Don't know him well. But maybe talk to Tony Stark. Runs the Forge in town I think. He's into robotics and stuff.

Wish I could offer to help. But more used to working on ships. Never worked on droids and such. [Because of personal reasons.]

I'm usually great with anything mechanical but here... messes with my head or something. And I'm trying to be a bit more cautious since it's my dominant hand and I really don't want to have to learn to fight left handed.

I feel your pain.
[And he hold up his hand to show that his right arm was basically a disembodied metal arm which only went to about where his elbow would be]
I don't know of anything official that has been set up. Might be sometime we should work on since it seems to be a fairly common predicament. I'll tell you though, getting the glitter out of it when we had a random glitter storm once was a pain.
If you'll pardon the bad pun, I can give you a hand.

[ Thank you for that observation, Luke. ]
Not having an upper arm. Is there a repulsor field of some kind there? Something to stop people waving a stick through it? How do you should check someone without that?
[ Yes, the original question is completely forgotten in the face of Shiro's prosthetic. ]
Your unit looks mostly enclosed, though.

Yeah, I think it was the best that they were able to muster. I used to have more of my arm, but... long story short, they had to cut off what was left almost to the shoulder to stop this body from trying to kill my friend.
[Yeah that didn't answer much. It was short, but way too many possible questions]
It doesn't. I mean, I can wave my hand through it. There's a powerful crystal with what some might call magic abilities powering it. So it functions as though I have an upper arm even though I don't.
[It's okay. His is a bit strange]
For the most part, but it gets into all of the gaps.

Some follow up
Well, he'd seen that coming. And for a moment, he's upset, even fierce in his protective anger, because Luke should have known not to be that blunt and clinical about Anakin too-
Except, of course, that Ezra himself hadn't told Luke exactly what happened at Mustafar, and if Obi-wan and Luke still haven't talked about it...
Ok. Ezra takes a steady breath, to start to calm down. Another. Then another.
Emotion, yet peace.
His voice is carefully soft when Luke comes near. "How can I help?" Because right this second, he can't really guess, but somehow he doubts the answer is 'blurting out upsetting truths'. He's done enough of that, himself.

Luke seats himself on a rock, not interrupting whatever Ezra's doing. There's a quiet calm to him, a Jedi zen that seems genuine and is really just a mask. "I thought he knew about Vader. He told me he did." But know about and knowing about aren't the same thing. "I need to stop talking to people from my past about anything more recent than their time."
no subject
"I think at this point, he knows everything he needs to know about Vader." He had, Ezra believed and still believes, needed to know Vader had survived Mustafar. If Obi-wan ever went back to his vigil on Tatooine, that was very relevant.
"Doesn't mean he's...processed it. And for the record, I bet Vader is in that suit, cybernetics and all, in his time."

I have no idea what that means, just so you know.
Could it repair others?
no subject
Unfortunately, no. It's kind of a partnership thing. Comes with the whole Guardian gig.

As for synthetic skin, are you looking for something that gives tactile feedback, or just a silicone glove?
