The Library (Closed to Jon and Tony)
If there's one thing a Hunter's good at, it's sneaking around. He's scoped out his destination, made sure key parties were present. It would be a wasted effort if he went through so much trouble and found himself without his intended audience, after all.

And so it is that Cayde hauls along a couch, of all things, which might be an odd sight in itself considering he's seen pulling it out from the Whale Comb Sent Her. He has it resting over his back part of the way, and by the time he gets to the library itself, he's simply dragging it by one end, rather noisily once its feet leave the weed-ridden, patchy earth and start to screech across the smoother floors. But his intention is not stealth, not now. Now? He's clearly asking for attention.

He pulls that couch right up into the most open space of the library, looks around, and then sets it right down. Then picks it up and turns it about to adjust it just so after consulting his hidden Ghost for something or another. And just like that, he walks right back out.

The Hangar (Open)
Some time later in the week one might find the Exo skulking about the hangar. Mainly he's prowling around the Starduck if not ineffectually pawing at the door hatch. His Ghost hovers nearby, watching.

If no one comes around to open the thing up for him, then he'll be wandering around the other ships, holding his tablet as he squints between the screen and each ship he passes as he looks for a certain one.

The Clocktower (Openish?)
Cayde's been seen with a giant coil of rope slung over an arm, fresh from the replicator. He's made a beeline for his tower (not the nest of buildings the bar's in), humming along. If Ikora's about the lower levels that she's claimed, then he wouldn't be surprised if she'd try to hold him up for questioning. Which is why he goes up to his own levels the usual way- jumping. Dare someone brave the Warlock's domain to head up those stupidly tall stairs to find him? -it's fine, she won't bite.

If you catch up to him at the top floor of the clocktower, you'll find him setting the rope down as he looks on out of one of the gaping holes that face the neighboring tower by the flood plains, stroking his chin thoughtfully. After a moment he turns to you, grinning as he picks up the rope and starts pulling half of it loose before tossing the rest over. "Hey, do me a solid and hold onto that. -and make sure to keep feedin' me some line!" And then without further explanation he leaps out the hole, somehow jumping again in midair just before he can hit the ground and break his ankles, rope winding out in his wake.

"Well, if we can't make some or replicate 'em, we can always take a chance with the supply box," Cayde nodded. He liked chancing the supply box, if only because it amused him for whatever the Agrii might come up with for their requests.

He stood back from his bed searching, tapping his foot. "Yeah. I used to stash all the weapons I got from the few places we were able to visit off-world. Don't know if everything got moved or if they're still aboard the Starduck," he said, stepping over to the small storage lockers to start opening them up.

"Hmm... you know I have not tried a supply box yet. I wonder what I would get with one."

He had heard about it so he was aware it was not necessarily what you asked for that you got.

"If they were trying to make things convenient, they'd be here now. If they weren't, they'd still be on the Starduck." He moved start checking the lockers as well. "How many of them do you have?"

"Do it! It's fun. I tried to make a game of it once and gave them a scavenger hunt list. It was kind of disappointing though. Nothing nearly as weird as what other people seem to get."

Cayde opened up another locker, the garbled sound he made wavering between joy and shock. "Well, they moved something!" he said as he pulled out a sock stuffed with a couple of knives. "Not sure I'd call this convenient though..." He tucked the knives into his belt and looked sadly at the overstretched sock. "How many? Uh...at least....five, maybe? And a few guns... maybe a thermal detonator or two..." he murmured as he started looking elsewhere.

"I'll do that then. See what I get from it. Maybe it will be something that we can use in the ship." He wondered for a moment if other people were living in the ship full time. If they were, it would be good to get their opinion on it, but for the moment, seemed harmless enough to talk about.

Shiro raised an eyebrow as he watched the other produce the sock stuffed with a few weapons. "Was the sock your doing or theirs?"

Because a sock seemed like a weird place to hide something like that.

"Wait, a thermal detonator?" Why did he have those?!

"I wouldn't mistreat a sock like this!" Cayde insisted, waving said sock around like a limp banner. "Sundance, help us out," he said as he called up his Ghost, watching as she went floating off to scan the nearest ventilation grating with a nod.

"Oh yeah. Kinda cylinder-shaped, about so big." He stopped his searching to gesture with his hands.

"Then clearly don't have the same appreciation for socks. Well, maybe it is something that they don't have so they thought it was a storage container?"

Trying to come up with a possible reason for why an alien race had picked that as an option to store weapons. He glanced up to watch Sundance as she went off to try and help.

"Ah ha..." So he really did have those. "I guess we better find them then."

"Maybe. Can't remember if I saw 'em wearing socks."

Of course he had them. First opportunity to get some explosives, so Cayde wasn't going to pass that up. He hoped the Agrii didn't recognize what they were, given their apparent dislike of weapons. But on the other hand he hoped that they didn't mistake them for something so harmless that they put them in a dangerous place.

"I should keep an inventory list," Cayde decided, straightening up from inspecting the lower lockers. "You think I'd have learned by now. Anything on your end? Shiro? Sundance?"

"I suppose that's not something that one thinks to look at. Is this alien race wearing socks. I know that a lot of different races on my world did without outside contact so possible that they did as well."

He nodded his head. "Probably a good idea to inventory them. So you can know if something goes missing or not."

He was still trying lockers and finally came to the last one. "It's unlocked... but it's stuck. Possible they might be in here. Give me a hand?"

That sounded fair enough. He couldn't even say if the Fallen wore socks. Probably not.

"Yeah. I'll see about it once we turn this ship inside-out." Cayde glanced towards Shiro as he was called over, coming to look at the locker in question. He stepped around the other to find some space to grab the door. "On three?"

Shiro nodded his head as Cayde came over to help. "On three."

He took a part of the door as well, bracing himself to pull. "One... two... three!"

There probably wasn't any contest once the two of them set themselves against the poor locker door. It gave with a slight pop and perhaps only a tiny bit of warping, but the door was open at least, and sitting inside were two innocent looking thermal detonators, adorned with flowers. Maybe they were mistaken as vases.

"Oh good, you found 'em!" Cayde chirped. He would have been a little annoyed if he'd lost them, especially after all the ones he'd used trying to collapse the Calibrations tunnel recently.

Who really cared if it was warped? Besides, that was best way for them to be able to get it to close again since they could repair the warping and whatever made it stick in the first place. It was just good that they had gotten it open. Especially since it seemed like what he needed was in there.

"Good we know where they are now." He couldn't help but raise an eye at the interesting treatment of them as though they were vases. "Clearly they don't know what these are."

"Probably for the best," Cayde said as he picked them up for inspection, dropping a few flowers on Shiro's hair as he shook them off. "They might've gotten rid of them. Althoooough it could have been bad if they'd stuck them somewhere that would have set them off."

He wasn't really sure how knowledgeable the Agrii were in things. Obviously they were keeping an eye out on their He Rows, but they also seemed to be picking their way towards really understanding things about the worlds beyond. "Well, either way, that's taken care of," he said as he tucked the explosives into belt pouches.

Shiro blinked a little as the flowers landed on his head before reaching up to take them off, kind of holding them until they found another place to put them. It was a shame to waste good flowers.

"Yeah. This was at least better because they were safe and the Agrii didn't realize what they were actually for. I imagine they are quite powerful after all."

He nodded. "We can always rig up one of these lockers to be more secure if you decided you wanted to keep them in here at some point."

The Hunter laughed at that. "Why put them somewhere obvious??" Like that was the craziest suggestion he'd ever heard. "Eh, guess there's plenty of time to figure that out later." He shot a look over towards the beds again.

"You claiming the captain's bunk?" he asked, figuring he'd be nice about letting the pilot have dibs. To be fair, the Starduck had been a free-for-all, but then the only one who complained when Cayde had laid claim to the single cot was Catra.

He chuckled at that. "True. True. Maybe people won't suspect they are there if its the obvious choice."

"I might as well try," Shiro said with a shrug. "If no one else has already claimed it." He liked having the larger room, but he wouldn't fight someone over a bed.

"Don't know who all else has come to inspect their new assignments," Cayde shrugged, pulling out his tablet again to have a look at the roster.

"Ooh! We got Billy! And- Steve? Wait, did we know Rogers was back? Then again the range of places we can be around has doubled so I'm not surprised if I missed him. ...don't think I've met this Kavinsky guy yet."

Shiro was definitely not subtle in coming over to look at the tablet when Cayde pulled it out to look at who else was on their roster.

"I know Billy." Or at least who he is. "I don't think I knew Steve was back, but yeah, so hard to tell around. And I haven't met Kavinsky either."

Cayde nodded. "Well, I'm sure we'll all have a chance to know each other better sooner or later. New ships and crew juggling, maybe we'll be taking another trip soon." He could hope, anyway. It was too easy to get restless around here, even with things to do, but he was a Hunter and loved to explore the unknown.

"Seems like that might be the case. We haven't gone anywhere for sometime so it feels like it could happen at anytime." He sighed, crossing his arms and looking towards the door as though it would suddenly provide an answer.

While he doubted that staring the door down in expectation for things to happen would do anything, Cayde followed Shiro's gaze for a moment before laughing as he clapped a hand over the guy's shoulder.

"Don't think it'll happen when we're looking for it to. And as much as I'm itching for another space adventure, I'd rather not spend any extra time on this ship while grounded if flying around takes as long as it tends to. Let's go grab some food at the diner or somethin'."

Shiro looked back at him as Cayde put his hand on his shoulder. He chuckled faintly at that.

"Yeah, I don't think it will be so easy to spot it coming." He nodded. "Sounds good. Let's go get something to eat."
