Flying You Say?
WHO: Obi-Wan Kenobi and You!
WHERE: Temba and Sh'Ka
WHAT: Gonna go fetch a ship!
WHEN: A few days after the mine incident.
WARNINGS: None atm
[Network Post - Video]
I've decided that it would be more convenient to have the Palm Cottage brought to Temba. If anyone has any objections, let me know. Otherwise, anyone who wishes to come on the maiden voyage is free to do so. I'll be taking the next train out.
Also, if there are any Agrii listening, particularly Te Mi. Then I would like to thank you for the gift. There are several people enjoying the lightsabers already.
[Train to Sh'Ka]
With a small bag of personal things and a toy lightsaber, Obi-Wan heads out to the train station and boards the next train as he said he would. He's hard to miss with that flowing Jedi cloak. Whether you're coming with you fly on the Palm Cottage or not, he's clearly in a good mood and willingly to talk to anyone who wishes to.
A hand gesturing to the seat next to him for anyone who would like to join him on the lengthy ride to Sh'Ka.
[Palm Cottage]
Once the train stops at the station, the Jedi heads straight towards the hangar. Does he meet your character there perhaps? Or had they been on a different train car? Either way, he accesses the ship that he's been assigned to pilot and goes inside. Feeling at east on this ship even more than he had on the Twin Roses. Possibly due to the abundance of potted plants that are situated around the ship.
He first heads to the bunks and places his things on the captain's cot. Putting down the toy lightsaber he brought and unpacking a few other items that he decided he would like to keep on the ship, including a holocron. Once he's done with that he heads for the cockpit and begins to power up the systems and refamiliarize himself with the controls.

But her childhood wasn't the same as Obi-Wan's, and her identity is flimsy in comparison to his confidence.
"That the false history might have overtaken the real one and changed you somehow. Right? Makes sense. Not sure how realistic a fear it is, but having it as a fear makes sense. From your experiences."

“That’s right,” he said at last. “It’s probably a bit irrational, fears often are, and isn’t very Jedi-like of me. Though I’ve been making progress in overcoming it. Even so, I don’t think I can avoid the fact that it has changed me to some degree.”
Whether that was a good or bad thing remained to be seen, but he had to admit it was inevitable. One couldn’t hold through such an experience without being changed. No matter how much he tried to suppress that new part of him.

She tilts her head slightly, considering him.

“It was a violation,” Obi-Wan said without a second thought. “Even as pleasant as the other life was, it wasn’t what I wanted. If I had the choice, I wouldn’t have chosen that life for myself over what I already had. I never want to forget my true life.”

If he lost that, then he truly would lose everything. Even with the death of his friends and family, he at least still had his memories of them. Of the things he had been taught by his people. Everything who made him who he was. Whether it was erased or replaced, it was the same thing. His fake life had none of that.
“If that experience had never ended, or if my true memories had never returned, then Obi-Wan Kenobi and everything he knows would have ceased to exist.” And that realization was what had shaken him to his core. And he’s certain that Billy could have done that if he had wanted to. It would have been a type of death. Not that he was afraid of dying really. But if he died, he would rather die as a Jedi. Not a man who couldn’t remember who he was.

“But in the end, what I feared hasn’t happened. I’ve done my best to push aside those false memories. And while it has given me a different perspective, I like to think I’m still mostly the same.”

And that's something that matters, even if it's not the only thing.
