Flying You Say?
WHO: Obi-Wan Kenobi and You!
WHERE: Temba and Sh'Ka
WHAT: Gonna go fetch a ship!
WHEN: A few days after the mine incident.
WARNINGS: None atm
[Network Post - Video]
I've decided that it would be more convenient to have the Palm Cottage brought to Temba. If anyone has any objections, let me know. Otherwise, anyone who wishes to come on the maiden voyage is free to do so. I'll be taking the next train out.
Also, if there are any Agrii listening, particularly Te Mi. Then I would like to thank you for the gift. There are several people enjoying the lightsabers already.
[Train to Sh'Ka]
With a small bag of personal things and a toy lightsaber, Obi-Wan heads out to the train station and boards the next train as he said he would. He's hard to miss with that flowing Jedi cloak. Whether you're coming with you fly on the Palm Cottage or not, he's clearly in a good mood and willingly to talk to anyone who wishes to.
A hand gesturing to the seat next to him for anyone who would like to join him on the lengthy ride to Sh'Ka.
[Palm Cottage]
Once the train stops at the station, the Jedi heads straight towards the hangar. Does he meet your character there perhaps? Or had they been on a different train car? Either way, he accesses the ship that he's been assigned to pilot and goes inside. Feeling at east on this ship even more than he had on the Twin Roses. Possibly due to the abundance of potted plants that are situated around the ship.
He first heads to the bunks and places his things on the captain's cot. Putting down the toy lightsaber he brought and unpacking a few other items that he decided he would like to keep on the ship, including a holocron. Once he's done with that he heads for the cockpit and begins to power up the systems and refamiliarize himself with the controls.

Train
He's only gone out to the other city once before. The train ride makes him anxious, having to sit for so long in one place, relying on the vehicle to carry them to their destiny without control of where it was going. At least this time he knows it actually has a place to go to and from, but it's not a trip he looks forward to. Discovering new ways to be paranoid is not really a fun thing.
Felwinter travels light, carrying nothing extra, but really needing nothing, except a shotgun, which he is upset to lack. His Ghost floats beside him, a silvery drone. As they board the train, the helmeted figure looks around, but it's not difficult to find Obi-Wan when he's one of so few on the train.

"Hello there," he calls in greeting before gesturing to the seats around him. "Come, have a seat friend. I don't believe we've met?"
They would be on this train for awhile, so they might as well get acquainted!
no subject
"My name is Felwinter. I believe we are assigned to the same ship." It's difficult not to forget the ship, strange as it looked on the inside. He still isn't sure what to make of it, but if it flies, then hopefully there would be no other issues.

As the train then begins to move, Obi-Wan sits back and relaxes. He's taken the train only a couple of times, but it's a familiar enough experience. Might as well get comfortable.
"Does your little friend there have a name as well?" He gestures to the floating droid.

Unlike Obi-Wan, Felwinter tenses almost instantly once the train lurches forth. It's like sitting in a metal cage. At least it's on the ground, though he still dislikes that it seems automated. How it's still able to function after a questionable amount of time is something he wonders. True even the remnants of the Golden Age back home had still sustained power, but they were in poor condition most of the time.
The Jedi's question has him glance over his shoulder as his Ghost hovers a little lower so she's occupying the space beside him. "This is Felspring," he says.
no subject
“Have you? I admit I haven’t met any others yet. You’re the first.” He supposed he would find out eventually one way or another who their ships crew was.
His attention then turns to the little droid again. “Hello to you too, Felspring.” His next question being directed at the armored fellow again. “I take it this is your ghost? You’re from the same world as Cayde and Ikora?”
no subject
"You would only be the second I have come across," Felwinter admits. "Although the only person I know from the roster is Reeve. He was part of our venture into the mines."
Felspring gave a polite bob of a nod at Obi-Wan, otherwise seeming content to let Felwinter do the talking. "She is," the warlord confirms, pausing before he continues. "...yes. It appears we are. Although it seems that we are not of the same time."
no subject
“Ah yes, I’ve met Reeve before but admittedly our paths don’t often cross.” Not everyone was chummy with the Jedi either. Some of the people that they are stuck with don’t often talk to him if at all. Being spaced out as they were allowed for distance if desired.
“I can relate to that. There’s many from my galaxy here, but we all come from different points in time. It’s confusing at best.”

Train to Sh'Ka
"Hi."
Okay, a little awkward. That's typical for Asti, though.
no subject
Obi-Wan just gives her a friendly smile in return.
“I don’t believe we’ve met. My name is Obi-Wan Kenobi. Are you new to Agra 10?”
no subject
"Everyone's been unnaturally kind here."
no subject
“We’re all stuck here together, and are welcoming to newcomers. But I assure you we have our moments where we disagree.”
Obi-Wan is dressed in his brown tunics and cloak. Not really any more remarkable than what she’s wearing. He takes her offered hand and gives a shake. “It’s good to meet you.”
no subject
She shrugs, her handshake light, almost non-confrontational.
no subject
His hand is strong and firm but not overly so. Releasing hers, it disappears inside the sleeve of his cloak again as he folds them together in his lap.
“So what is bringing you to the new city? Have you had a chance to explore it yet?”
no subject
She shrugs. "Right now, making sure there's enough food for everyone who's been working there."
no subject
It was nice to see someone who was so committed to the effort. Obi-Wan didn’t have the engineering datapoint so his ability to help was limited.

Train
He recognized the man who had made the invitation for others to join him, having spoken to him once before. He came over to sit down near him.
"Hello."
no subject
"We spoke before on the network didn't we? Shiro, right?" He remembers their conversation as he didn't often talk to people on the devices. It hadn't been the happiest topic, but that was all right. Perhaps this time they could have a more uplifting conversation on their trip.
no subject
He intended for it to be a better conversation. It had be rather therapeutic to talk about it, but he didn't want to spend all of his time focused on it.
no subject
He knew there were some out there that hadn’t been. Not that he could blame them as communication wasn’t possible at the moment. On top of the fact that it was more of a ruin than Temba currently was.
“The Palm Cottage is one of the three ships we discovered recently. I had the fortune of being assigned to it as its pilot.”
no subject
"I see. Then that is fortunate. I have been curious about other ships allotted to us. They all seem so different from each other."
no subject
“That they are, and these new ones are quite unique compared to the ones we have known. Which ship are you currently assigned to?”
no subject
"Fascinating. I'm currently assigned to the Bishop as a pilot."
