[The video started with a shot of the now open hangar roof in Temba, then turned around to face Keith, who looked rather confused and mildly concerned.]

Hey, uh... guys? Anyone get a notice that we might be leaving? I just checked the ships, and they're ready to fly... at least, the Bloodsport is. But, I didn't get a notice or anything that we were supposed to be going anywhere. Also, it looks like they're only able to take us over to that new place where the train goes. It's the only destination I can put in.

-wait, what new... that other city? Oh, is that all? What, so now we have non-stop shuttle services aside from train departures?

I think that's it. [Keith frowned a bit in thought.] I mean, usually, when this happens, there's that weird sense of compelling... whatever... for us to get to the ships and on them. But, as far as I can tell, it's not happening this time. They're ready to go, like usual, but we're still missing parts of the normal routine when it comes to leaving the planet.

[He turned, the background behind him spinning slightly to reflect that.]

I wonder...

So it's a big tease. We can't even go up to visit the Agrii?

[Keith frowned, and then shook his head.]

No. [He started walking back into the Bloodsport.] I tried, but the only destination it'll let me select is that other city we found. Temba is on the list, but, since they're already here, obviously that's not an option.

[He made his way to the bridge again, back to the helm.]

If we could communicate with the teams in the other city, I want to know if the other ships over there are up and running... if maybe they can fly here.

So far it looks like there's no connection. But that's been a big problem since we were first able to set out there.

Yeah. I know people are working on it. It's not my area of expertise, so I don't want to get in the way of what they're doing.

Fair enough. Also given how picky the ships are, probably wouldn't do any good for anyone over in the other place unless they happened to be one of the pilots if not a crew member.

Leaving? This is very distressing to hear. I do not know if I am prepared. But I will start moving stocks we might need to the hangars.

[Which of course includes weapons. Oh she's worried.]

Might not be a bad idea... just in case. [Keith wasn't going to turn down the idea of being prepared with weapons.] I mean, there isn't that weird sense that we have to be on the ships like what we usually get when these things power up, but that doesn't mean something isn't going to happen.

We also did not wake up upon them. That is a good thing. Though I admit I've only been on them in flight the one time, so I didn't know there was a compulsion to board.

Sometimes. It's happened once or twice... other times, it's like you said. We wake up on them. Maybe they do that on purpose so it makes it harder for us to track things and find patterns to exploit.

But the Agrii are helping us?

[Keith frowned a bit.]

I mean, they say they are, sure. But, I've seen people do that before, and end up not being as helpful as they claim... if you catch my drift.

Strange that they seem to be ready to go, but also not at the same time. Probably good to be prepared just in case.

I wonder if it will somehow be related to the train or if that's only a temporary thing.

Well... it definitely gives us more flexibility for getting between towns than the train. Though, considering that some people are living in the ships instead of out in town, it's something to be careful about.

I'd be pretty annoyed if I had plans, and suddenly woke up in the wrong city because someone wanted to take a trip while I was asleep.

Yeah, I was living in my ship for a while when I first arrived so I can certainly understand that. The upside is that it is difficult to get aboard a ship that is not your own without help.

[He chuckled at the idea though] Joyriding with a space? Sounds about par for the course after what we've seen.

Heh, yeah. [Keith couldn't help smiling a bit at that.] I wouldn't mind trying it, honestly. Maybe see how far off course we can go as pilots.

[He laughed at that] I'm not surprised. If we could do it with disrupting anyone and making them come along for an unintentional ride.

You said you picked up pilot, right? We could ask our crews and see who's good with us trying it, and then take that ship.

[He shrugged a little. Just a thought.]

'kay, well, to be honest, I'm not all that fussed about the ships basically being on rails to the other place.

Even with cabin fever, I'm fine not getting booted off planet to do some random mega dangerous fighting.

Yeah. As long as we could manually pilot them and not just get zapped in and autopiloted away, I'd be 120% down for it.

I was thinking of trying to see how far off course I could take one, but I should probably check with the rest of my crew, first...
