WHO: pietro and YOU
WHERE: around, palm cottage, civic center
WHAT: a lil exploring, meeting people, dipping his toes in
WHEN: few days after arrival
WARNINGS: tba
A. AROUND
[it is totally not acceptable for him to go about wearing only the uniform he got from the avengers, and the idea of it getting ruined because of how much he shoves it in the wash is not something he wants. he’ll never admit it, but it’s pretty damn cool that he got an avengers uniform.
also, it has got a bullet hole he would like patched up at some point.
he will go where the people are, showing up seemingly out of nowhere in front of whoever is happening to mind their own business.]
Hey.
Where can I find new clothes? [and, also, pointing at his arm—] Can you sew?
B. CIVIC CENTER
[if there is one thing pietro is not going to slack off on, it’s getting a workout routine set out for himself. besides, is there anything else he could be doing with his time? it’s only been a few days and he’s getting bored; he needs to go go go, but that—really—is on him.
at least there being a gym helps him with killing time.
shame about a lack of machines, but the weights work out just fine for him.
just as he’s setting down a curl barbell to the ground (with a little too much noise, oof), he wipes the sweat off his forehead and glances at the obstacle course. warm-up, done. so, this, at whoever else may be in the gym with him:]
Anyone can go?
C. PALM COTTAGE
[what’s more annoying in a ship than having someone run back and forth along the sixty meters of a ship?
—nah, there can’t possibly be something worse that comes to mind, even if the individual who is racing along the length of the ship is moving at such speed that they are hard to spot. said individual finally comes into view as he reaches for, in normal speed, across the floor of the dining area, the wall at the end of the dining area, seeming to be trying to catch his breath.]
Just—a minute...
[maybe there is a reason to this madness of running around?]
D. HANGAR ( CLOSED TO WANDA )
Twin Roses, it does not make sense.
[he is grumbling to himself, a quality of annoyance on his face as he debates this whole thing all by himself, born out of finding it obvious that he should be with his sister. really, he just hates having to walk however many steps it takes him to get to the twin roses (and for him it's really nothing, considering how quickly he could get it over and done with).
pietro, however, cheers up the moment he sees his sister near the ship he had been grumbling about. he beelines it with his speed, reaching for her arm with a hand.]
You were going to show me, yes? [he grins, good-naturedly.] It looks really nice from the outside.
[(maybe a little space is better, sometimes).]

[he points at mini, pausing in mild surprise as it speaks again and seems to be communicating with the man? what the hell is happening here?
once the surprise wears off, pietro is quick to lean over to be at the same height as mini, hands on his knees as he tilts his head to also consider it in return.]
This is really cool. What are you supposed to be?
[he is having a conversation with mini. thanks for your support, reeve.]
no subject
Ah'm Mini-C, but ya can call meh Mini.
[Reeve smiled as his amusement grew.]
He's a combination of a robotic skeleton, a cushioned and then stuffed doll body, and of course, a touch of magic.
[Mini nodded and his tail flicked quickly for balance.]
Mostly ah'm his keepeh. Because he cannae take much care of him-
Mini.
no subject
sure feels like a stuffed doll!]
I would also want a keeper like this. Must be very fun to go around with company like this.
I'm Pietro Maximoff. [at mini] But you can call me Pietro. I think this is [okay, sorry for the mad disrespect, reeve; pietro does stand now so that he can talk to the both of them] the ship that I was assigned to.
no subject
Ah've heard tha name before. Maximoff. Sounds familiar.
[Reeve offered a respectful bow of his head.]
I am Reeve Tuesti, and apparently a shipmate of yours. Welcome to Agra 10 and the... I think it was called the Palm Cottage. I don't know, it's a new assignment for me. They change, from time to time. As for your point, Mini, I believe there is a Wanda Maximoff as well.

[pietro points at the different trees growing up and at the wooden finish of the ship. he snorts, raising his brows and maybe sneaking a glance at mini.]
Funny.
[easily enough, he puts hands to his hips.]
She is my twin sister.
no subject
[No one was certain just how much they truly understood. Reeve let his fingers rest on the wood paneling. Reeve really DID hate that.]
Ah, she is a wee bit prettier than-
[Reeve actually nudged the cat with his foot to stop him.]
Forgive me. He's... not the most polite.
no subject
Yes, we are not identical. It is like any other brother and sister, but born together.
[a shrug — no offense taken.]
She is very pretty. Are you friends with her? [either or, both?] You will know she is also very kind.
[#loveshissister]

Ah kne' wha a twin is!
We don't know her very well. I've seen her in passing. I understand she is a more... reclusive member of our number. [Reeve reached down to pick up his companion, and he clearly wasn't amused at the behavior.]
no subject
I heard she... is a little unwell.
[how to actually understand what his sister has gone through? pietro is still working through that. hm. well.
he walks past the two.]
Did you see the whole ship yet?
no subject
I am sorry to hear that. If there is anything that I can do to help her, please let me know.
[The whole ship? Reeve followed after him.]
No. I imagine you have. You moved like the young man does.
no subject
[he waves a hand, continuing down the corridor until they reach the stairs to head down. he doesn't go down, though, just stops at the corner-turn.]
Young man? [tommy, maybe.] —well, I was just checking to learn the space in this ship. It might be life or death one day, how fast I can go from one end to the other.
[grand adventures in his mind regarding these space trips or whatever. he's a little too excited about it all.]
You fly these things?
no subject
[Ah interesting. Reeve considered the observation.]
I cannot fly it, but flying happens. When we are allowed.
no subject
[listen here—] I have met him before, so sure, I will ask. What do you mean by 'allowed'?
[now he turns towards mini.]
Do you do the flying?
[maybe he does?]
no subject
The ships can only be flown by pilots. In addition, we can only do so when the Agrii activate the ships. I am not a pilot. I'm an Engineer. Which I suppose is still useful because I can program a ship to take a specific course, but I cannot control it.
[He pulls out his comm to look up who their pilot is, only to have Mini seem to clear his throat.]
It's Obi-Wan ah think. Tha Jedi man.
