Jedi practice

Grogu knows he needs to practice using the Force. It's the only way he'll get better and not get exhausted so quickly. So he's found a quiet spot outside to sit. He's got an array of stones (And a little metal sphere) Before him. Closing his eyes, he holds his hands out and focuses. The items begin to float. They rise in the air and begin to float in a slow circle around him. Now he just has to see how long he can keep this up.

The Beach

All work and no play... We know how that goes.

Grogu has found his way to the beach and is currently humming to himself as he builds a sand structure. It's tough to tell what it is, but the kid seems to be enjoying himself.

Except he hasn't noticed the lobster creeping up on him. Halp?

Makin' it even with beach!

Clarice had come down to the beach to check her lobster traps, when she saw one sneaking up on her little friend. Turning her collection bucket upside down, she toed off her shoes and snuck up on it slowly, then dropped the bucket with a triumphant "Ha!" and grinned.

"Hey, padawan. Looks like I just caught us lunch."

Grogu makes a surprised noise, turning around with his ears lowered. He mentally scolds himself for being so careless as to let something sneak up on him. But he looks up and sees the familiar face. Oh, that lessens the blow some.

He smiles, tilting his head. Lunch?

"Take a look." She scoops the lobster up, then tilts the bucket to show him. "If you want a piggyback ride to the diner after you finish your sand castle I can boil it up for you. I know how much you like your raw fish, but this one isn't really all that safe to eat that way."

The lobster snaps its pincers to confirm her advice and scrabbles against the side of the bucket.

He moves closer, putting his hands on the side of the bucket and peering down at the little creature. It seems so angry. Is it really going to be dinner?

"Don't worry, it definitely won't be snappin' by the time it gets back to your plate," she reassured him. "They turn brighter colors when you cook 'em, too. Pretty and tasty. Here, though, finish up your castle. I'll take a picture for you so you can show Din."

His eyes widen. Whoa! That sounds crazy! And definitely better than that soup that tried to eat him.

Smiling, he nods and turns back to his castle. It's crude but definitely looks like it's based on something from Coruscant.

She tilts her head, squints a little. She can almost recognize some of the spires.

"That's real nice, hon. You should put some little shells around the bottom, like speeders."
