"Over for me... right..." He looks down and away for a moment before clearing his throat. Sorry, dude. That's a rough subject right now. He's still dealing with it, okay?!

"Sooooo grocery shopping... food... right... uh. What kinda food is there back on, whatever it's fucking called, Abracadabra 11?"

What? Oh man, he's clearly upset. Okay, moving on. Tommy doesn't want to deal with emotions shit.

"Agra 10, in the city of Temba. Or what remains. A lot of stuff, man. Mostly vegetable and fruit anf fungus. We've got a greenhouse. I couldn't explain most of it if you paid me."

He appreciates that.

"Yeah, that's fine. I've got a black thumb so I wouldn't get any of it, anyway. Fruits and vegetables are a good start, though. It'll be a lot healthier than most of the shit we ate where I come from."

Black thumb. Tommy laughs. He shakes his head.

"We don't have a lot of other options, but I'll remember to keep you away from the greenhouse."

Eddie nods, understanding. "Yeah... my Mom really didn't like dirt, so we never even had a fucking garden. I can do other stuff, though" He adds, waving a hand, "Like I'm not completely useless."

Good thing Tommy didn't know how bad Eddie's mom was, how much more than 'didn't like dirt'. Because if he did, he'd roll his eyes so much.

"No one is completely useless with the datapoints. They make us learn things."

That's a typical reaction to Eddie's Mom, yep.

He has to pause while his brain connects some of the weird stuff that had been shoved into his brain to what Tommy said. "Data points... oh, yeah... I've, uh, I don't know how to say it. I haven't heard about them, I just somehow seem to fucking just know about them."

"Yeah, that's the first one, you touch it when you get to the city. The other ones give you knowledge. Practical shit. Medicine, agriculture, piloting. YOu know, needful stuff."

He doesn't think the Comm one is very useful at all. But he's just that sorta person.

Eddie's eyebrows raise. "Medicine? That's pretty fucking useful. How much knowledge does it give you?"

"Supposed to give you Agrii biology knowledge. But it also means you know how to use their tech. My brother would answer it better. Billy's been that for a while."

Not always like Tommy had always been agriculture, but for a long time. "He's trying to learn more. But he's also magic so he can probably summon medical texts or something."

Eddie nods, "Maybe I'll ask him about it. Thanks for the tip." Even if he is weirded out by the idea of magicked up books.

He pauses for a moment before adding. "Uh... I feel like I should apologize for flipping my shit."

"It happens," Tommy shrugged. A lot. This place was just like that. Well, not this this place, but Agrii kidnapping places.

"Well, uh, I guess I'll leave you to it. Unless you want me to smell any other weird shit."

This was awkward as hell. He tried to at least smile and be friendly.

Tommy saves at the man, grinning.
