"Tsk, come on. I won my wife over with these moves," he insists, a grin on his face that catches, caught up in surprise loss before trying to hide it. He nudges his elbow at Tommy's ribs, "...Teach me what the kids are doing these days then."

"Which is why I'm certain you're single. Or divorced."

Yep, Tommy throws shade. Catch it if you can.

"First of all, we aren't referring to ourselves as kids."

Beck lifts a hand to show off his wedding band.

"Widowed," he counters. So...yeah.

Beck tries to shake off the apology with a sad sort of smile.

"It's all right, you didn't know...Come on, show me those moves. You dragged me out here, don't leave me hanging." He graciously tries to change the subject to spare Tommy that guilt.

"YOu dragged yourself into the club," Tommy countered, moving away to dance with the music. He's not necessarily good, he's mostly just spirited. And clearly in love with being here. The energy, the people, everything was good.
