Hey guys! Got some good news for you.

[Cal smiles as he turns the communicator's camera about to show the Replicator sitting on a worktable within the salvage shop. BD-1 stands on top of it, poking a foot at the light indicators.]

Finally got this thing fixed. It's running apart from the main power grid though, so the output might not be as much as it was before, but it's working now. I can have this thing moved back to the um... "Whale Comb Sent Her" unless anyone has any suggestions for somewhere else.

Oh, good job, Cal!

And I believe leaving it easily accessible at the center of the city remains our best option. The building has proven to withstand the storms as well.

Kenobi's from much earlier than me, five years. Right after the Purge. It's...it's been good being able to connect with someone who knows, you know?

Oh! Right. Well, it's called a replicator. Basically does what it sounds like. It can replicate things. It's got quite the range too- it can do food and items, within reason. I don't think it will make anything weapon-like. The one we were provided seems to have some limitations programmed in.

I’m not sure I understand. How can one little machine make such a variety of things?

I don't fully understand the specifics either. Something to do with matter conversion.

There was a planet that the Agrii had sent us all for some time, and that's where we first came across them. BeeDee downloaded the schematics in hopes maybe we could figure something out, but we were saved the trouble when one ended up back here with us all. It was in pieces, but then that's where the schematics came in handy.

[Obi-Wan is a bit suspicious. This doesn’t sound like something that could be possible.]

It really does. But everything I've had made seems solid enough, and others have probably asked for much more complicated things than we have. Before it broke down the first time I had a couple of rebreathers made for Jon and Tony so we could explore the lake out here.

There's been some things I've been thinking of doing too. I'll have to talk with Tony about it. But I wanted to get the replicator project out of the way first.

[It didn’t take him too long. Obi-Wan’s excursions around the broken city has paid of in that he was starting to know his way around. Though the directions did help of course. The Jedi arriving with the hem of his cloak billowing around him.]

[Calling out the Padawan’s name, he announced his presence as he made his way inside. Taking a moment to look around as he did so.]

[The space is fairly big, much of it unused but mostly cleared out. There are several bins with various parts and even complete-looking devices from Cal's excursions, although only two seem to be most used and not yet full.

A few shelves and tables have other various equipment and repairs either done or in the works. Cal himself steps through the doorway from an adjoining room, wiping off his hands on a rag. BD-1 skitters practically at his heels, beeping a greeting as the padawan grins.]

Hey Ben. Hope it wasn't too much trouble to find.

[ Jon gives a small nod in regards to what may beCal's future projects. At least the boy knows what to do with himself, that's good.

At the question about the beach? Jon frowns. ]

The beach. Ah... No. I can't really say I was aware there is a beach nearby...

[ He rarely ventures close enough to the southern edge of the city to notice. ]

There is. The trail's easy to miss but it's there. If you do find the beach, be careful of the local sealife. They don't look very friendly.

That's not really the point I was getting at, though. There are caves there. ...the Agrii tried using them to shelter from the storm.

It didn't always work for them.

No, no bodies. I wasn't able to explore too much of the caverns. There's...something about them.

I saw some raw veins of what I think might be the same crystals used for the power rods to charge things in the city. I'm not sure if it was just because of that or something else, but... It caused a reaction with my Force sensitivity. Everything just seemed to open up.

[Obi-Wan takes his time in looking around. His gaze passing over the various devices and equipment that was scattered around on work space. Quite the impressive collection if he say so himself.]

It seems you have made yourself quite at home here. Where did you find all of this?

[Cal tosses the rag onto a corner of one of the counters.]

Oh, all over the city. We've had plenty of time to poke around Of course, a lot of the stuff we find is a lot less useful. Things have been sitting around for a good while.

I took the Engineering datapoint. Figured it made the most sense. Helped out a lot too, when we were out on the ships. You'd think that after spending years dismantling and scrapping starships repairs would make sense across the board. It's strange how things work in this place.

I will take a quick look at those caves when I head down there - But I also feel like Tony should check out those veins. Maybe there is a use for those. What I wonder about is... Why would the Agrii seek shelter there?
