I Can Fly Anything. Pt. 2

WHO: Bishop crew! (Poe Dameron, Rayla, Cal Kestis , Vincent Valentine, Lance) or any of their visitors
WHERE: Ship/Space
WHAT: Time for take off
WHEN: Beginning of trip
WARNINGS: N/A currently

The mission could have been to fly out and pick up their laundry and Poe would have been eagerly ready to take off so long as it meant flying again. Really flying. But this was a much heftier mission, whether they were rushing out to the Agrii's aid or right into a trap they had to be ready, and Poe made sure anyone who chose to come along understood what they could be up against. He wasn't going to fault anyone for staying behind when they were going in blind.

Once they've set of Poe spends most of his time in the cockpit, even when he doesn't need to, it just feels right being back behind the controls again. BB-8 and CC-9 wander about looking to make friends, occasionally doubling back to make sure their Master actually takes a break and remembers to eat. You might catch him during one of those times, or maybe just the droids.

Trap or not, Cal was ready to go. It wouldn't feel right not to investigate, and this would be a rare chance that they'd be able to use the ships to go anywhere outside of Agra 10.

Having flown once with Poe before, the padawan is at least confident that they're in capable hands when it comes to the ship. He's brought along tools and things that might be needed for maintenance, along with a few other items that he doesn't feel like leaving behind.

If he's not in the way, Cal will poke his head into the cockpit, just to have a look at things out beyond. He's used to sitting up front with Greez, but otherwise he'll be about.

BD-1's been more or less left to his own devices as well, provided he doesn't go poking at things he shouldn't. At least he's got fellow droids for company. Hopefully no one gets caught in the path of a random game of tag.

BD-1's largely been alone until he met Cal. His droid interactions have been limited to unpleasant close encounters with security and probe droids. Being able to have fun with fellow droids is a vast improvement.

Cal laughs, arching a brow at Poe. "Aw, I didn't think the landing was that bad."

"Hey, any landing where both you and the ship are in one piece is a good one, I think," Cal says. "But that's only the opinion of a passenger who has to watch everything happen," he adds with a grin.
out_of_order: (heard that before)

Cal's pretty sure he'll hold to his opinion. He's been in quite a few crash landings of a sort and they weren't even all ships. To Poe's suggestion he only smiles, giving something of a shrug as if to say he's ready to take that shot whenever.

He laughs as he hears the droids in the background. At least some of them have something to preoccupy themselves with. "So have there been many opportunities to take the ships out before?"

"Convenient for them, isn't it? They're who knows how far out, but they can still keep us from going anywhere unless they want us to," Cal muses, frowning a bit. "Are we locked onto a set course? Not that I'm suggesting we do, but would we be stopped from taking the ship somewhere else?"
