If anyone tries field stripping one of those Agrii weapons
You might be in for a shock
Just FYI
[Can a text sound pissy? Because this one most definitely is.]

In the wake of the Agrii communication — and people weren't kidding about the communication skills there — and the apparently inevitable excursion into space, the Soldier is making use of his time by combing through the ruins looking for potentially useful equipment. The weapons had been interesting yet disappointing as well; he considered himself something of a weapons expert, but the gun's workings had escaped him, even with the knowledge from the Atroma added to his own base skills.
He's definitely not happy about that.
To work out the frustration — from that, and from this whole Agrii situation — he's out and about the run-down city: exploring, scavenging, and yes, pushing himself into as much of a workout as can be had in the landscape. Occasionally something might catch his eye, or perhaps your character is more the sort to try to flag him down.

Want something else? Have an idea? Hit me up at
sometimesamuse or via PM. Open to wherever, whatever, and though I write starters in prose I'm more than happy to switch to brackets if it's your preference. Want to handwave a vaguely-met-during-Calibrations so we don't have to go through the first meeting/introductions thing? I'm perfectly fine with that, just give me a heads up. Has your character met one of the other Buckys and wants to go for the whole mistaken identity thing? Go for it!

It was just an electrical shock. I've had worse.
no subject
That was a different time. It is no trouble for me to help a friend
[She is not going to force it on him - that wouldn't really be helping. But sometimes brains are jerks and one has to be explicitly told that something really is okay.]

[It's teasing, or what passes for a tease between them.]
If my arm's still twitchy by the time I decide I'm done, I will let you know.
no subject
[Who would win? One (1) grumpy bucket or the Stark-Maximoff sisters?
Still, she's teasing too.
Mostly.]That bad? I would say I am glad I don't need them, but last time the storm took my powers

[As if he doesn't know he'd be outnumbered.]
Electric shock to an electricity-run system. Sometimes it takes a little bit to sake out the residual effects. It's nothing.
no subject
[...they usually don't mean it quite like that, but sure.]
I can bring you tea if you want. It sounds like a good time to take a break
no subject
[No really, he has no idea.]
Tea and those magic fingers of yours, maybe. If you feel like turning them towards maintenance.
no subject
I am happy to help but I am not much better with electricity. It does bad things to my powers
[Something something neurons...Vision could probably explain it if he was here but she doesn't really have the biological knowledge.]
no subject
[Which is nothing new, honestly.]
If I need you, I'd need your physical fingers as much as otherwise. I can't always reach the back of my bicep.
no subject
[Such horror.]
Oh, I can do that. I thought you wanted me to try with the gun and I barely know regular ones
no subject
[Why do you even put up with this fool?]
Absolutely not. You know my weapons expertise; if I'm having trouble with it, then I definitely won't risk anyone else in the endeavor.
no subject
[Congratulations! You have been adopted. Please do not resist.]
Do you want the blue tea or the purple tea or the red tea?
no subject
[That kind of stupidity just invites all varieties of trouble.]
Let's experiment with the red, I guess

[Because while of course she doesn't trust them, she won't be too quick to judge the people who aren't questioning if there's more behind the "cute and harmless" facade. She's seen a lot growing up in Sokovia. Minds cope with difficult situations in strange ways.]
Where are you?
no subject
[Maybe it’s a blessing, to not be constantly on guard or aware of every potential threat — to be “normal”. It’s not a reality he thinks he’ll ever know.]
Decided I’d look into those weapon they decided to offer. It’s what gave me the shock.
no subject
For now it suits her purposes to let them forget why they should never have crossed her.]
You should come to my apartment when you're done. I'll have the tea ready
no subject
I absolutely will. Does an hour sound good to you? And is there anything you'd like me to bring you?
