below are prompts for 3 of the 4 the monsters Vincent has within him (I opted to leave Chaos out for this event). I've written these prompts with sensory descriptions but please feel free to ignore and describe your character's own experience within the prompts. You can choose to do one, two, or all of the monsters - but after the monsters will come the "room" in which you will find Vincent, if you want to avoid the monsters all together feel free to scroll down to the "room" prompt! Thank you!

The temperature is cold, and there is a foul smell in the air. At first, it's overwhelming, thick, and stagnates within the throat before it breaks down and shoots in either direction - back up the mouth with acid or down in the pit of the stomach with an uncomfortable rush of air bubbles making the gut vibrate. Humidity breathes against any bare flesh, causing the skin to feel clammy. Secondly, a steady tone echoed through the darkroom; it's barely audible and sounds more like Tinnitus than anything. Above the ringing is a sound of wings - or perhaps a whipping fabric against a rush of wind.

The overwhelming smell doesn't fade, but instead, you become acclimated to the coppery scent, which leaves an iron taste in your mouth. Then you realize the foul smell is rot, and the taste in your mouth is blood. The owner of the dream is not in sight, but you feel a presence. A dense-red hue veils everything in sight, and you see the floor is a murky stone tile, with splatters of brown, red, and rust cover it. There are tall steel walls with bolts as large as tires that held the grime-covered metal together. The four walls of the room are not all seen as heavy velvet drapes spilled in portions around the room. The design created a tight walkway between the steel wall and the heavy curtain. The fabric can be moved aside, and the pathway provided did not need to be taken.

Either way, the first nook you come to ignites the sound of a chainsaw. It's loud, intrusive, but invisible. Replacing the steel wall are rusted bars thick as your arm reaching from the floor to a height you can't see as the bars fade into that hazy red fog. The drape sways and the sound of the chainsaw recedes, the bars remain sturdy, and behind them is a dense shadowed space.

The red veil envelopes a small circumference, with the bars being at the forefront of the circle. A slight sparkle moved within the darkness, like a silver-lit firefly. There is no visible path outside the ring. The drapes are the only way out and will fold to anyone's pursuit out of the ring. Touching the bars or leaving the circle will bring about the same consequence. The chainsaw rips through the silence, and the drapes begin to shred into small droplets of crimson rain, splattering against everything with cold blood. Finally, the chainsaw becomes visible, feet away - behind bars or outside the bars, shredding the velvet drape. The figure wielding the chainsaw is shrouded in darkness, save for the clear blood-stained mask. The dark-figure is focused solely on the drape, which the fabric shreds with the weapons teeth but just as quickly reforms back - giving the impression of an endless cycle. A path leads to another part of the room, and once in the new recess, the sound, sight, and horror of blood splattered rain disappeared.

๐‘ป๐’‰๐’† ๐‘ฉ๐’†๐’‚๐’”๐’•
Within this small space, there is a red light source that fills the background evenly. Black trees stand tightly together to form a thick wall around the pathway. Above, is the vision of a red moon with dark clouds abating from the light source. There are no sounds save for the echo of each footstep taken. Despite the atmosphere, one will remember this is only a room, and inevitably there will be a wall coming up soon. The further you trek down the path, the thicker the air gets until sudden darkness overtakes the scenery. For a moment, its pitch black before a bolt of lightning flashes in the distance. Testing the perception that this is only a room. The trees then melt into shadows, and black clouds rise with red silhouettes and form a barrier around the walkway. Behind the black clouds begin strobes of red lightning. There isn't any sound of thunder, but it's felt through the path which had, at some point, turned into dirt. Darkness sweeps across the room, once again, rendering it still and quiet. Red lightning once again brings visibility back into the room and is followed by the sound of a roar. The monstrous roar is distant and effectively echoes through the room. A ball of flaming, crimson, fire burns in the distance and illuminates the beast exhausting itself in a cycle. Each ball of fire melts the thicket of trees, but as soon as the monster stops to breathe, the trees regrow, trapping it in place. The path is clear, after leaving the beast behind the room returns to neutral candlelit lighting, velvet drapes droop around the room, impressing a tranquil and calm atmosphere.

๐‘ป๐’‰๐’† ๐‘ด๐’๐’๐’”๐’•๐’†๐’“
Dust covers the checkered floor, and rust creates a webbed pattern on the walls around the pathway. The air is stagnant, pushed only by your ascension on the pathโ€”tones of grey, blue, and brown camouflage the walls, floor, and windows. Crumbled archways lead into separate ways, forks in the hallway, and whatever path took will lead to the same destination. Fans hang in the ceiling above barred wired panels, and hospital stretchers rot beneath failing flickering-light and abandoned wheelchairs with bloodied rags sit idle in the pathway. The path is tight, though the hospital equipment can be moved, too much movement will kick up a thick cloud of dust.

The hall then opens up to a wide room with only a few working lights. Past the door is a large staircase that leads down into the basement. The only way to go is forward; an unrelenting wall now blocks the path taken here. The room would shift into the hall at the base of the stairs, regardless. There are only a few feet to a large door with a window. Past the glass is a hospital room, unsurprising, it's full of medical equipment. There are vials, tubes, electronic machines, steel pans, surgical tools, and the like. The majority of the hospital bed can't be seen, but it appears the end of the bed is just in view - beneath the light. Once again, the light is undependable, as is the patient's status within the room. The door is unlocked and will open on its own, inhaling the visitor inside the darkroom. Despite the room looking quite open, there aren't too many places to wander, and touching items does nothing but make noise.

There is a clear path to the bed. Feet away, the creature on the bed is visible, as are the crimson straps that hold it in place. Ragged breaths filter through its lungs, making it sound as if the air has to pop various pockets of phlegm to escape the body. The creature is large, more than ten feet of height, and thick with muscles that don't quite look right. It has bolts on each of its shoulders and a metal rod between its teeth. The flesh seems rotted and patched together with what even looks like skin from different origins. There are various bandages across its body and a white sheet to cover the pieced-together body. A series of cracks sounded through the room, and there's a sudden surge of electricity that shoots at the bolts sticking out of the monster's frame. Once the lightening thins into mere sparks, the creature stirs with a raspy groan. The massive hands begin to move, pulling on the restraints. The monster suddenly howls, and a bolt of lightning radiates from the creature, rather than toward it. The monster suddenly rips through the restraints on his chest and sits up. There's a sound of a door unlocking, and across the room, it swings open a new exit. Red restraints lash forward, like tendrils, and coil around the monster, but the creature resists. Another wind pushes the visitor toward the exit, ushering them out of the room and into a neutral hallway. The door slammed closed and disappeared behind a drawn red-drape.

๐‘ป๐’‰๐’† ๐‘น๐’๐’๐’Ž
The room has five coffins, all of them but one are open. After a few feet into the room, the fifth coffin opens, and Vincent wakes with a message. However, he looked dazed, even confused, as he spoke. He will take a few moments to wake while you look around the room properly.

Aside from the coffins, there are a few items that may look out of place. Near the corner of Vincent's coffin sits a turquoise ๐’„๐’“๐’š๐’”๐’•๐’‚๐’ rock. On the wall, behind Vincent, is a frame with a ๐’‰๐’‚๐’๐’…๐’ˆ๐’–๐’ inside. A pink ribbon tied into a bow on another place on the wall, above an empty coffin. Off to the side of another empty coffin was a pair of knee-high light brown ๐’ƒ๐’๐’๐’•๐’”, inside the coffin were a few scattered ๐’•๐’“๐’†๐’‚๐’•๐’”, mostly baked goods like cupcakes, rice cakes, brownies, homemade candy, and so forth. Inside another empty coffin was a ๐’‘๐’‚๐’„๐’Š๐’‡๐’Š๐’†๐’“. Another coffin held a business ๐’”๐’–๐’Š๐’•, complete with the tie and shoes. A ๐’‘๐’Š๐’„๐’๐’Š๐’„ ๐’ƒ๐’‚๐’”๐’Œ๐’†๐’• sat on the floor with two ๐’ˆ๐’๐’‚๐’”๐’”๐’†๐’” and a ๐’ƒ๐’๐’•๐’•๐’๐’† ๐’๐’‡ ๐’“๐’†๐’… ๐’˜๐’Š๐’๐’† next to it. There was a ๐’‘๐’‰๐’๐’๐’† on the floor and not far from it a few orbs of ๐’Ž๐’‚๐’•๐’†๐’“๐’Š๐’‚.

Dreams were fluid, sometimes you could lucid dream and it would feel completely real. A nightmare could feel the same way leaving you waking up in sweats. Cloud felt that first touch of tension as he found himself in a hallway with hospital beds scattered about. Where the hell was he? A room? A dream?

Cloud couldnโ€™t make anything out of it besides that he didnโ€™t want to stay here. He didnโ€™t want to come across a mad scientist or anything creepy of that nature. Thereโ€™s suddenly light everywhere and heโ€™s within the large room already. A bed out in front of him as if he was meant to see the main event right away. Perhaps to give him an idea of what he might be dealing with. A glimpse of the mind he could have ended up in tonight. Cloudโ€™s breath sinks in deep as he holds it within his chest. His eyes widen as he looks upon the Monster. It looked familiar and he wasnโ€™t at all too sure if he had been seeing it correctly.

Maybe someone else had a similar nightmare. Cloud notices the drapes wrapping around the Monster in question trying to stop it or maybe summon it. He wasnโ€™t at all too sure what was going on there but he didnโ€™t seem too frightened by the electricity and growling of the Monster. Thatโ€™s when he thinks for a moment that he recognizes the familiarity of the Monster.

The room shifts before he could catch anything more that would solve the puzzle too easily. Cloud finds himself this time hearing a chainsaw close by. Itโ€™s a bit unnerving as he stands still trying to take in his new surroundings. He turns around to see a dark figure with a chainsaw endless cutting at the red drapes. It seemed as an endless circle never letting the drape be whole. The tattered off the ends of it reminded him of another familiar thing. Thereโ€™s a moment where his mouth opens and a finger raises up in the form of a question. But heโ€™s pulled away again.

Cloud finds himself on the ground under a red moon. He slowly gets up on his hands and knees before getting back up onto his feet. When will the dream come to a point within it. He looks around him taking in the scenery of the black trees and the lightning flashes. The black and red truly gave away whose nightmare he might be part of. The Beast shows up and Cloud recognizes the form right away. He actually moves on closer towards it, wanting to be closer towards the Beast. He didnโ€™t know why but he made it into a mission to want to before he didnโ€™t get a chance later.

If he makes it even remotely close, he wants to at least look the Beast in the eye. But then the actual scenery changes into a room setting, with candlelight, red draping along the walls. Cloud puts a hand over his mouth knowing heโ€™s in Vincentโ€™s room. Upon seeing Vincent float up from within the coffin he drops his hand slowly.

โ€œ...you really did say that again.โ€

He's going to be looking around Vincent's room now mostly at this turquoise rock.

He had been in so many different places by now and touched items that he'll wait until Vincent is fully awake. Cloud could have been greedy or wanting to touch an object. But there might be something private Vincent truthfully wouldn't want to revisit or show even if they were friends.

"It has..." The blond stays in his spot not moving while watching Vincent. "What would you want to do?" Cloud didn't have to touch anything in the room. He could stand here looking at Vincent as the other had done in his room before seeking memories.

They both knew that the room was meant to show Vincent's memories. Cloud knew that they were probably meant to touch their person objects to get to know the other person better. But why? He had done it so often without realizing at first. It was different knowing what happens.

"What would you like to do?"
