Dreams were fluid, sometimes you could lucid dream and it would feel completely real. A nightmare could feel the same way leaving you waking up in sweats. Cloud felt that first touch of tension as he found himself in a hallway with hospital beds scattered about. Where the hell was he? A room? A dream?
Cloud couldn’t make anything out of it besides that he didn’t want to stay here. He didn’t want to come across a mad scientist or anything creepy of that nature. There’s suddenly light everywhere and he’s within the large room already. A bed out in front of him as if he was meant to see the main event right away. Perhaps to give him an idea of what he might be dealing with. A glimpse of the mind he could have ended up in tonight. Cloud’s breath sinks in deep as he holds it within his chest. His eyes widen as he looks upon the Monster. It looked familiar and he wasn’t at all too sure if he had been seeing it correctly.
Maybe someone else had a similar nightmare. Cloud notices the drapes wrapping around the Monster in question trying to stop it or maybe summon it. He wasn’t at all too sure what was going on there but he didn’t seem too frightened by the electricity and growling of the Monster. That’s when he thinks for a moment that he recognizes the familiarity of the Monster.
The room shifts before he could catch anything more that would solve the puzzle too easily. Cloud finds himself this time hearing a chainsaw close by. It’s a bit unnerving as he stands still trying to take in his new surroundings. He turns around to see a dark figure with a chainsaw endless cutting at the red drapes. It seemed as an endless circle never letting the drape be whole. The tattered off the ends of it reminded him of another familiar thing. There’s a moment where his mouth opens and a finger raises up in the form of a question. But he’s pulled away again.
Cloud finds himself on the ground under a red moon. He slowly gets up on his hands and knees before getting back up onto his feet. When will the dream come to a point within it. He looks around him taking in the scenery of the black trees and the lightning flashes. The black and red truly gave away whose nightmare he might be part of. The Beast shows up and Cloud recognizes the form right away. He actually moves on closer towards it, wanting to be closer towards the Beast. He didn’t know why but he made it into a mission to want to before he didn’t get a chance later.
If he makes it even remotely close, he wants to at least look the Beast in the eye. But then the actual scenery changes into a room setting, with candlelight, red draping along the walls. Cloud puts a hand over his mouth knowing he’s in Vincent’s room. Upon seeing Vincent float up from within the coffin he drops his hand slowly.
“...you really did say that again.”
He's going to be looking around Vincent's room now mostly at this turquoise rock.
